Manipulative and evil teenagers/pupils

Natasha 2

Beloved of All
Protect me from narcissistique students/pupils. There are some who are unbeleivably manipulative, arrogant, disrespectful. I suffer from emotional consequences and they also ruin my authority in classes. Lord deal with them in the way that they will never do that again to me.

There is also a group of pupils who are harrassing me. Because i have rebuked them about some stuff that they are doing wrong. And they have spread the rumour and then that group of pupils (teenagers) became larger. Lord deal with that evil and punish them for their disrespect and evil behaviours who ruin my authority as a teacher. In Jesus name amen!

Please dont say to me How can i say that they are evil - they are, because they follow the devil and are harrassing the child of God. More and more parents are parenting their children in a way that they are spoiled, letting them zo do everything, buying them expensive cellphones, allowing them to spend the most of their time on their phones, skipping school, lying for them about the reason they are not in the school, teachers are less important then football players, techers earn less money then most of people who do not have high education in my country and we are generaly less and les respected. Think about the times when priest, teacher and police officer were the most important people in a village/city...this is not coincidence...

We hear the heaviness in your heart and we join with you in bringing this burden before the Lord, for we know that teaching is a calling that can be deeply discouraging when authority is undermined and disrespect becomes a daily trial. We understand your emotional exhaustion and the pain of having your good name attacked by rumors and harassment, and we want to lift you up and also gently speak truth to some of the desires you have expressed in your hurt.

We recognize what you are describing is very real in this generation. Scripture warned us that in the last days people will be lovers of self, boastful, arrogant, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, without natural affection, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, not lovers of good 2 Timothy 3:2-3. Much of what you see in these pupils, their manipulation, arrogance, addiction to phones, dishonesty, and lack of respect for teachers, is the fruit of homes where discipline and training in the Lord have been neglected. The Word says Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it Proverbs 22:6 and also The rod and reproof give wisdom, but a child left to himself causes shame to his mother Proverbs 29:15. When parents indulge and excuse, when they lie for their children and allow them to despise authority, they are not loving them well, and the whole community suffers, including faithful teachers like you. It is not a coincidence that respect for teachers, for elders, and for God-given authority has declined, for when a culture turns from the Lord, contempt for all authority follows.

We must also lovingly correct the cry of your heart that the Lord would punish them and deal with them so they never do it again. We understand the desire for vindication when you have been harassed for doing what is right, but the Lord calls us to a different posture toward those who mistreat us. He says Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord Romans 12:19. And again we are commanded But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you Matthew 5:44. To bless those who curse you and pray for those who mistreat you Luke 6:28 is not natural, it is supernatural, and it is what Christ did for us while we were still sinners. We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. These teenagers are not ultimately your enemy, though their behavior is sinful and harmful. They are captive souls, deceived and in need of repentance, and our greatest hope for them is not their punishment but their salvation. The Lord takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but desires that the wicked turn from his way and live Ezekiel 33:11. We overcome evil not by wishing evil upon others, but as it is written Don’t be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good Romans 12:21.

That does not mean we excuse their sin or that you should passively endure harassment and slander. Disrespect, manipulation, lying, and spreading rumors are sin and they do damage, and God has established authority for order and protection. Every person is to be in subjection to the higher authorities Romans 13:1, and those who sit under your teaching are called to respect that office. You have a right and a responsibility to maintain order in your classroom with firmness and grace. A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger Proverbs 15:1. We encourage you to continue to correct with consistency, calmness, and fairness, to document what is happening, and to seek the support of fellow teachers and school leadership so you do not carry this alone. Pray for wisdom, for If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5. And for your own heart, we encourage you to cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7 and to bring your anxiety to Him, for the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7.

We now join together and pray for you in the name of Jesus, through whom we have access to the Father and in whom we are heard.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear teacher to Your throne of grace. You see the harassment, the rumors, the arrogance and manipulation directed against Your child, and You see the emotional wounding and the weariness it has caused. Lord, we ask You to be a shield and protector, to guard this teacher’s heart and mind, to heal the emotional consequences of this trial, and to restore strength and joy in the calling You have given. Grant wisdom beyond human wisdom to respond with grace and truth, to exercise godly authority with patience and firmness, and to not grow weary in doing good. We pray for these pupils who have been disrespectful and harassing. Lord, do not give us what our flesh might ask in anger, but give them what they most need, conviction of sin, repentance, and new hearts that turn to You. Soften their hard hearts, open their eyes to the harm they do, and bring godly influences, parents, leaders, and peers, who will speak truth to them. Deal with the evil not only by Your justice but by Your mercy that leads to transformation. We pray for their parents, that You would awaken them to their responsibility to discipline and love their children well. We pray for the school, that truth would prevail over rumors and that authority ordained by You would be honored. Let this teacher be sustained, vindicated in Your time, and used as a light in that classroom, showing the love of Christ even while standing firm for what is right. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus, amen.

We hear how heavy this has become for you. Standing in front of a class every day while feeling disrespected and undermined, and then carrying that home emotionally, is exhausting. It makes sense you feel worn down and that your authority feels shaken when rumors spread and a larger group joins in.

Teaching is a caring profession that asks so much of a person, and when the demands and the disrespect stay high for a long time, anyone can feel depleted and preoccupied with the very people and situations causing the stress. You are not alone in feeling the wider cultural shift you described, where teachers feel less valued than they once were.

We want to encourage you not to carry this alone. When there is a pattern of harassment and disrespect, it helps to bring one trusted person fully into the picture, a principal, department head, or experienced mentor teacher who knows your school context, and share specific examples of what has happened and how it affects your classes. Keeping a brief, factual record of dates and incidents can also give that person a clearer way to support you and to address the behavior appropriately. And we encourage you to protect time outside school to rest and be replenished, whether with family, a pastor, or a counselor who can support you personally.

Father, we lift this teacher to You. You see the strain in the classroom and the hurt that lingers afterward. Grant wisdom and steadiness in each interaction, protection and peace in the school, and guidance for these students toward respect and responsibility. Give our friend renewed strength and trusted support around him. In Jesus' name, amen.

The weight you bear in the classroom is not hidden from the Lord, and He hears the cry of a weary heart that desires to do its duty faithfully while enduring disrespect and harassment. To have your authority undermined, to feel the sting of mockery and rumour, and to carry the emotional wound of it day after day is a sore trial, and it is right to bring it before God in prayer.

Yet in that prayer we must take care what we ask of Him. The natural heart cries out, punish them, deal with them so they never trouble me again. But the gospel teaches us a better way, for vengeance belongs to the Lord, and He has called His children to a different spirit. Our Saviour, when He was reviled, reviled not again, and He taught us to pray for those who despitefully use us.

Remember what forgiveness is. It is a divine forgiveness, I even I am He that blotteth out thy transgressions. It is surprising forgiveness, so great that God Himself speaks as if to assure us it can be true. It is complete forgiveness, as though a debt were wholly cancelled when we had nothing to pay, and it is continuous and eternal, not given once and then withdrawn, but abiding for all who trust in Christ. Scripture declares, There is forgiveness with Thee. That word is without limit. It does not say there is forgiveness for this sin or for that, but there is forgiveness. Where God draws no limit, let us not draw any. If you have felt yourself the chief of sinners under this burden, there is the chief of sinners forgiveness to be had, and the same fountain is open for those young souls who now grieve you. However sinful their lives may appear, there is forgiveness with God even for them through Jesus Christ His Son.

And because we have received such full and free pardon, we are called to copy the pattern set before us. Even as Christ forgave you, so also do you. This is not a paltry duty but a great and ennobling one. Revenge is paltry, forgiveness is great minded. It is a joint work of mutual forgiveness which every Christian must practice. Some of us have had so much manifest forgiveness, so much outward sin forgiven, that for us to forgive ought to be as natural as to open our hands.

Persecution, even when it comes not with fire and prison but with slander, cruel mockings, jesting and spite, has often been blessed by God to His people. It helps to keep the church distinct from the world, it drives the tried soul nearer to God, and it brings forth prayers that would never have been offered otherwise. God has blessed His people by their persecutions, not because the persecution itself was good, but because He uses it to refine and to draw us to Himself.

Therefore let us pray not that God would punish these pupils according to our wounded feelings, but that He would protect you, uphold your proper authority, grant you wisdom and patience, and work in their hearts that which is pleasing to Him. Pray that He would turn their arrogance to humility, their disrespect to honour, and that they might come to know that there is forgiveness with God through the blood of Christ. Pray also for their parents and for the influences that have led them astray, that the Lord would have mercy upon this generation which spends itself upon vanities.

Seek also, as you are able, the proper and peaceable means within your calling to restore order, with firmness and kindness, seeking counsel from fellow teachers and those set over you, speaking the truth in love and maintaining that steady, gracious discipline which commends itself even to the unruly.

May the Lord keep you from bitterness, fill you with His Spirit, and make you an instrument of grace in that school. May He give you that forgiveness which you daily need, and teach you to extend it, and may He in His own time and way deal with these young hearts not by destroying them, but by bringing them to repentance and life.

We will pray that the Lord who blotteth out transgression for His own sake will sustain you, guard your heart and your classroom, and let His grace be seen in you, that even those who now oppose you may see Christ in you and be won by His forgiveness.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Thank you for bringing this burden honestly before the Lord. The hurt and exhaustion you describe from disrespect, manipulation, rumors and the loss of authority in your classroom are real, and God sees both your labor as a teacher and the emotional weight you carry.

Scripture gives a high view of the work of a teacher, and it also gives a high calling for how that work is done. A teacher needs both authority and gentleness. Authority without gentleness becomes harsh, and gentleness without authority cannot guide. The virtue of a teacher is not to seek praise or to demand esteem from those under his care, but to seek their salvation and good, doing everything with that aim. That means not acting as a tyrant who rules for his own honor, but as a guardian who grieves over what is wrong and longs to see those entrusted to him restored.

Because of this, the prayer God delights to answer for you is not that He would punish or destroy your pupils so they never trouble you again, but that He would protect you, give you wisdom, and bring them to repentance and maturity. Young people are prone to follow what they see, and when they see inconsistency or harshness they often go even further in the wrong direction. When they see steadiness, lowliness, meekness and a life that is consistent, many are won over. Your example in the classroom, in how you speak, how you correct, how you remain calm under provocation, teaches more than any lesson.

That does not mean their behavior is not sinful. Disrespect, lying, harassment and spreading rumors are sin and they do harm. God is just and He will deal justly with all sin. But His justice is meant to lead to repentance, and He calls you to want for them what He wants, which is that they would turn from that way and know Christ. Jesus calls us to pray for those who mistreat us and to overcome evil with good, not to ask for their harm. They are not beyond His mercy. He died for them as He died for you, and He can change hearts that now seem arrogant and hardened.

You also name a larger sorrow that many teachers feel, that parents often excuse their children, that phones and other distractions pull students away, that the honor once given to teachers has faded and that you feel less respected and less supported. That cultural change is painful and it makes your work harder. It is right to lament it, and it is also a reason to ask God for a steady heart that does not depend on the honor of the culture but on the calling He has given you.

For your protection and for a way forward, consider these steps before the Lord:

First, bring your hurt to Him daily and ask Him to guard your heart from bitterness. Ask for lowliness and meekness as you walk worthily of your calling, and for strength so that resentment does not take root.

Second, pray for your pupils by name, not for their punishment, but for their conviction, for their good, and for their salvation. Pray that God would make them see the harm of their actions and give them a desire to do what is right.

Third, seek wise and practical help. Document what is happening, bring the pattern of harassment and rumors to your school leadership, and where appropriate involve parents or other authorities in a calm and truthful way. Seek counsel from mature believers who can support you and help you set clear, consistent boundaries in the classroom. Authority is best exercised with calm consistency, clear expectations and consequences that are fair and not done in anger.

Here is a prayer that aligns with what God has revealed as good:

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ who alone is our Savior, protect this teacher in heart and mind and give rest from the emotional wounds these conflicts have caused. Grant wisdom to lead the classroom with both firmness and gentleness, to correct what is wrong without harshness, and to reflect Your character to these young people. Bring conviction where there has been disrespect and deceit, soften hard hearts, stop what is harmful, and turn these students toward what is true and good. Let Your word not be dishonored through any of us, but let Your grace be seen. Provide encouragement, support from colleagues and leaders, and renewed strength for this work. Amen.

You are not alone in this. Continue to seek the Lord, stay in fellowship with other believers who can encourage you, and do not carry this burden in isolation. God has placed you in this difficult place not to be despised, but to be a witness of His patience and truth, and He is able to sustain you and to work even through these trials for good.
