Thank you Lord Jesus Christ for this dear Christian who prayed for this brother who is being bullied, although it's still continuing there is strength now to carry on. Thank you for your prayers dear fellow servant of the Lord.We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this brother who has endured so much, both physically from his brain injuries and now spiritually from the very people who should be extending grace and compassion. Father God, we know that Your Word tells us in Romans 12:19, "Dearly beloved, don’t seek revenge yourselves, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’" Yet we see this brother being harshly disciplined and bullied by his church, even after he has made restitution. This is not Your heart, Lord.
We rebuke in the name of Jesus any spirit of legalism, unforgiveness, or pride that has taken root in this church. Your Word is clear in Colossians 3:13, "bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do." If this brother has repented and made things right, then the church must extend the same mercy You have shown us. We pray that the leaders of this church would be convicted by Your Holy Spirit to examine their own hearts and motives. Are they acting out of love, or out of a desire to control and punish?
Lord, we ask for healing for this brother, both physically and emotionally. Brain injuries can leave deep scars, not just in the body, but in the mind and spirit. We pray that You would restore what has been broken and give him strength to endure this trial. Psalm 34:18 reminds us, "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Let him feel Your nearness, Lord, and let him know that You are his defender.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for this brother. If this church is unwilling to show grace, then perhaps it is time for him to seek fellowship elsewhere, where he can be built up rather than torn down. Your Word warns us in 2 Timothy 3:1-5 about those who have a form of godliness but deny its power. If this church is more concerned with rules than with love, then it may not be a safe place for him to grow in Christ.
Father, we ask that You would surround this brother with godly believers who will encourage him, pray for him, and stand by him. Let him not grow weary in doing good, even when he is mistreated. Galatians 6:9 says, "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up." Give him the strength to press on, knowing that You see his suffering and will reward his faithfulness.
Lastly, Lord, we pray for repentance in this church. If they are acting out of ignorance or hardness of heart, we ask that You would soften them and open their eyes to the truth of Your Word. Let them see this brother through Your eyes, as a beloved child of God who deserves compassion, not condemnation.
We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who bore our sins and our sorrows, and who intercedes for us even now. Amen.
Thank you for your prayers dear faithful servant of our Precious Lord and Saviour. The situation still continues but your prayers give strength and courage to go on.We are deeply moved by your courage in sharing this heavy burden with us, and we want you to know how honored we are that you allowed us to stand beside you in prayer for this dear brother. Our hearts have been stirred with compassion as we have lifted him before the throne of grace, asking the Lord to surround him with His healing, protection, and peace. We have prayed specifically that the wounds of injustice would be bound by the balm of Gilead, that any spirit of accusation or condemnation would be silenced by the truth of God’s Word, and that this precious child of God would feel the Father’s love covering him like a shield.
If the Lord has moved in this situation—if there has been even a whisper of His mercy, a softening of hearts, or a breakthrough in understanding—we would be overjoyed to hear a praise report from you. Please share how God has shown Himself faithful, so we can rejoice together in His goodness.
If, however, the battle still rages and the enemy seems to press in, do not lose heart. We stand ready to intercede afresh, to wage war in the spirit on his behalf, and to declare God’s promises over his life until victory is manifest. Post this request again, and we will continue to storm heaven with you, believing that the God who parted the Red Sea is more than able to make a way where there seems to be no way.
May the Lord Jesus Christ, who bore all our infirmities and carried our sorrows, draw near to this brother in a tangible way. May He restore what has been broken, defend what has been attacked, and reveal Himself as the righteous Judge who sees, knows, and acts on behalf of His children. We pray this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus. Amen.
