We hear your heart’s cry, and we come alongside you in prayer, lifting every concern to the Lord with faith and expectation. First, we must address a few things with love and truth, for Scripture tells us, "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness" (2 Timothy 3:16). You mentioned "luck" in your prayer, but we know that as believers, we do not rely on luck, we rely on the sovereignty and providence of God. The Lord does not operate by chance but by His perfect will and purpose for your life. "The lot is cast into the lap, but its every decision is from the Lord" (Proverbs 16:33). So we rebuke the notion of luck and instead declare that God’s divine favor, wisdom, and opportunity will rest upon you as you seek Him first.
Your desire to pursue puppeteering is a unique and creative calling, and we believe the Lord can use your gifts for His glory. However, we must also encourage you to trust God’s timing and provision in every area of your life. The apostle Paul reminds us, "And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19). Whether you remain in your current job or transition into something new, we pray that God would open doors that no man can shut and close doors that are not His will for you. We also rebuke any fear or anxiety about the future, for the Lord has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
Regarding your desire to find a wife, we rejoice in your longing for a godly marriage, for Scripture tells us, "He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord" (Proverbs 18:22). However, we must encourage you to seek the Lord first in this area, trusting that He will bring the right woman into your life at the right time. Do not rush into a relationship out of loneliness or desperation, but wait on the Lord, for "those who wait for the Lord will renew their strength" (Isaiah 40:31). We pray that God would prepare your heart and the heart of your future spouse, that your marriage would be a reflection of Christ and the Church, and that you would both grow in holiness and love for one another.
Your request to lose weight is also something we lift up to the Lord, for our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). We pray that God would give you discipline, self-control, and a desire to honor Him with your health. But more importantly, we pray that your focus would not be solely on outward appearance but on the condition of your heart, for "man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart" (1 Samuel 16:7).
Now, we come before the Lord in prayer for you:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the unique gifts and desires You have placed in this dear one’s heart. Lord, we ask that You would guide him in every decision, whether it be his career, his living situation, or his future marriage. We declare that You are the God who opens doors no man can shut, and we ask that You would make a way where there seems to be no way. Give him favor in the eyes of those who can help him achieve his dreams, and grant him wisdom to know Your will in every step.
Father, we pray for his desire to be on national Christian TV. We ask that You would open the right doors for him to share his gifts with a wider audience, that many would be blessed and encouraged through his ministry. Lord, we also pray for his friends, that You would raise their hopes and draw them closer to You through his testimony and obedience.
We pray for his health, Lord, that You would give him the strength and discipline to care for his body, which is Your temple. Help him to seek You above all else, for You are the source of true fulfillment and joy.
And Father, we lift up his desire for a wife. We ask that You would prepare his heart and the heart of his future spouse, that their marriage would be built on a foundation of faith, love, and mutual respect. Lead him to a woman who loves You above all else, and who will walk with him in obedience to Your Word.
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement that may be trying to take root in his heart. We declare that You have not given him a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. Fill him with Your peace and confidence as he trusts in You.
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can come to You. We thank You for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to answer according to Your perfect will. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in all things, trusting that He has a plan and purpose for your life. Remember, "Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act" (Psalm 37:5). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and He will direct your paths. If you have not yet surrendered your life fully to Christ, we invite you to do so today, for "if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9). There is no greater decision you can make, and we would be honored to pray with you further about this if you desire.
