We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your son and this concerning lump on his head. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and numbers every hair on our heads. We ask for Your healing touch upon this child, that whatever this lump may be, it would be nothing serious, nothing harmful, and nothing that would threaten his life or well-being. Lord, we declare Your promise in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds,"* says the Lord.
We also pray for wisdom for the doctors and medical professionals who may examine him. Guide their hands, sharpen their minds, and give them discernment to provide the right care. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."*
We rebuke fear in the name of Jesus, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We stand on Your Word, which tells us that by Jesus’ stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We declare that this child is covered by the blood of Christ, and no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 53:17).
Father, we also lift up the parents in this time of uncertainty. Strengthen their faith, calm their hearts, and remind them that You hold their son in the palm of Your hand. Psalm 139:16 says, *"Your eyes saw my body. In your book they were all written, the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there were none of them."* We trust that Your plans for this child are good, plans for a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
Lord, we ask that You would surround this family with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May they feel Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You are with them in every moment. We pray for complete healing, for answers that bring clarity, and for a testimony of Your faithfulness to rise from this situation.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
