We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear one who is awaiting the results of an X-ray for a lump on their head. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and binds up our wounds (Psalm 103:2-3). We ask in the mighty name of Jesus that You would guide the hands of the medical professionals examining these results and grant them wisdom to interpret them accurately.

Lord, we pray for reassuring news—that this lump would be nothing serious or life-threatening. We declare Your promise from Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh. We trust in Your healing power and ask that You would bring peace and comfort to this beloved child of Yours during this time of uncertainty.

We also pray for faith to rise up in their heart, remembering that You are in control, even when circumstances seem frightening. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). May they find rest in Your presence and strength in Your Word.

If there is any fear or doubt creeping in, we rebuke it in Jesus’ name. Fear does not come from You, Lord, but perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18). We stand on Your truth and declare that this one is covered by the blood of Jesus, protected by Your angels, and held securely in Your hands.

We also want to gently remind this dear one that our hope is not only in physical healing but in the eternal hope we have in Christ Jesus. If they have not yet placed their trust in Him, we pray that this moment would draw them closer to knowing Him as Savior and Lord. For there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father.

Father, we ask that You would surround this one with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Whether the news is good or requires further steps, may they feel Your presence and know that You are with them. We trust You, Lord, and we thank You for hearing our prayer. In Jesus’ precious and powerful name, we pray. Amen.
