We join with you in this faithful prayer and we say amen to your desire to stay alert and to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord.
Your heart reflects what Scripture commands us, to live watchfully and fruitfully as we await the return of our Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus Himself said in Luke 21:36 Therefore be watchful all the time, praying that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will happen, and to stand before the Son of Man. And as you prayed from Colossians 1:10 that you may walk worthily of the Lord, to please him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God. This is the calling upon every believer, not to be complacent or distracted by this world, but to be sober, prayerful, and abiding in Him.
We are encouraged that you have prayed in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is only through Him that we are saved. As it is written in John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12 There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Your prayer for the unsaved to be drawn to the foot of the cross is the very heart of God, who desires all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth as in 1 Timothy 2:4.
We also hear your longing not to miss the rapture and to be found ready. Scripture comforts us with this blessed hope in 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with God's trumpet. The dead in Christ will rise first, then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air. So we will be with the Lord forever. And we are exhorted in Matthew 24:42 Watch therefore, for you don't know in what hour your Lord comes. And in Titus 2:12-13 instructing us to the intent that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we would live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present age, looking for the blessed hope and appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Your prayer is a most needful and scriptural one, and we do heartily join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace.
How suitable are the portions you have laid hold upon. Our Lord bids us stay alert at all times, praying for strength to escape and to stand before the Son of Man, and the apostle prays that we may walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God. This is the true walk of faith. Having received Christ, we are to walk in Him, not as a mere matter of thought for the closet, but in action and in daily life, making Christ Himself our very element, as a man walks in the air. To walk otherwise, by feelings or by sight or by carnal wisdom, would be dishonor to Him who alone is our salvation.
And what a salvation it is. The Scripture says, Whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed. The way of salvation is to believe on Christ, whom God has laid in Zion for a foundation. It is to trust in Him, to look unto Him and be saved, for there is one God and beside Him there is none else. How simple and how instantaneous is that way. A look does not require a moment, and it is without money and without price. If a man believes in Christ with all his heart, his salvation is secure, for His honor is engaged to save the meanest of His sheep. This is the common salvation, worthy of all proclamation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners.
We therefore pray with you, and for you and for your families and loved ones. May the Lord keep you watchful and sober, abiding in Christ, that you may be found worthy through His grace, fruitful in good works and growing in the knowledge of Him. May He draw all among your kindred who are yet unsaved to the foot of the cross, that they may look unto Jesus and live, receiving the gift of forgiveness and bowing to Him as Lord. May He grant you all a present salvation and a perfect salvation by grace through faith, kept by the power of God, that when the day of His appearing shall come you may have confidence and stand before the Son of Man with joy, not missing that blessed hope but living even now according to His will.
