Prayer

Thank you Heavenly Father for this beautiful day. I pray for deliverance, peace, rest, forgiveness, and that you would rebuke this evil and remove it, in the name of Jesus Christ. Please grant me peace and freedom from constant attacks and suffering my Lord. Please stop what it is doing currently and the constant burning my Lord. Please stop the attacks on my work computer. All the stuff that happened this morning while I wasn’t even touching the computer. Please my Lord. I could lose my job.

Please also forgive me for my sins. Please also heal any unforgiveness I may have. I would be so grateful my Lord. In Jesus Christ precious name. Amen

We stand with you in the authority of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who has indeed given us power over all the works of the enemy. As it is written in Luke 10:19, "Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you." We take hold of this promise and declare it over your life, your work, and your peace.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your mercy and grace. We lift up this dear one to You, asking for Your deliverance and peace. Lord, we rebuke every evil attack, every spirit of torment, and every scheme of the enemy that seeks to steal, kill, and destroy. We command these attacks to cease in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).

Father, we ask for Your divine protection over their work computer. Let no evil hand or malicious software disrupt their labor. Grant them favor with their employers and colleagues, and let their work be a testimony of Your goodness and provision. We pray for rest and peace to flood their mind, body, and spirit. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Lord, we also come before You seeking forgiveness for any sins, known or unknown. We ask that You cleanse them with the precious blood of Jesus and create in them a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within them (Psalm 51:10). We pray for healing from any unforgiveness, bitterness, or resentment that may be harboring in their heart. Help them to forgive as You have forgiven them, so that they may walk in the freedom and fullness of Your love (Colossians 3:13).

We declare that the enemy has no foothold in their life. We break every chain, every curse, and every assignment of the devil against them. We speak life, healing, and restoration over every area of their life that has been touched by the enemy. We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Christ Jesus.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your love and Your power that is at work within us. We stand in agreement with this dear one, declaring Your promises over their life. Lord, we ask for Your deliverance from every attack and scheme of the enemy. We rebuke every spirit of fear, torment, and destruction in the name of Jesus Christ. We command peace to reign in their heart, mind, and spirit.

Father, we ask for Your protection over their work and their computer. Let no evil touch what You have entrusted to them. Grant them wisdom, favor, and efficiency in their tasks. We pray for rest and rejuvenation, that they may find true peace in You.

Lord, we confess any sins and ask for Your forgiveness. We pray for healing from unforgiveness and ask that You fill their heart with Your love and grace. Help them to walk in the freedom that Christ has purchased for them on the cross.

We declare that they are more than conquerors through Him who loved us (Romans 8:37). We thank You for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is ours in Christ Jesus. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Continue to stand firm in your faith, dear one. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes (Ephesians 6:11). Remember that the battle belongs to the Lord, and He has already won the victory. Walk in the authority and power that Christ has given you, and do not be afraid. The Lord is your refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2).

We hear the fear in your words, especially the terror of losing your job because of things happening on your work computer that you can’t explain. That’s a deeply unsettling place to be, and we don’t take it lightly. When the enemy brings harassment into the very tools we rely on for our livelihood, it’s draining, and it’s okay to feel that. You’ve done the right thing by turning to the Lord right away.

Sometimes these attacks feel heaviest exactly where we’re most vulnerable. But you are not powerless, and you’re not alone. You’ve already declared your trust in Jesus’ authority, and that’s the solid ground under your feet.

A couple of practical things can help right now. First, don’t carry this by yourself, reach out to a mature Christian friend or your pastor today and ask them to pray with you, in person or over the phone. Agreement in prayer is powerful. Second, while we believe fully in spiritual realities, it is also wise to have someone from your company’s IT department check the computer. If the issue turns out to be a technical glitch, you’ll have peace of mind; if it’s something else, you’ll have more clarity and the support of your church family already in place.

You also asked God to heal any unforgiveness in you, and that’s a beautiful, honest prayer. In a quiet moment, simply ask the Holy Spirit to bring to mind any person or situation you’ve held against. When something surfaces, tell the Lord, “I release them. I choose to forgive as I’ve been forgiven.” It doesn’t have to be emotional, just a decision of your will.

Lord Jesus, we thank you that you have already defeated every power of darkness. We ask you to surround this dear believer with your peace that passes understanding, right in the middle of the turmoil. Stop the harassment on this work computer and guard every detail of their employment. Quiet the fear, calm the heart, and bring deep rest tonight. Where any unforgiveness has hidden, gently reveal it and bring freedom. We ask all this in your powerful name, Jesus. Amen.

The promise you bring is a true one: “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” But see where its strength lies. You have authority over the enemy only because you are in Christ. It does not mean you shall never feel the serpent’s bite or the scorpion’s sting; it means the adversary cannot keep you under his dominion, and nothing shall by any means hurt your soul. When the burning and the fear come upon you, you are not forsaken. The Lord has not given you over; He is thinking upon you.

I will join you in prayer for deliverance, peace, rest, forgiveness, and for the Lord to rebuke this evil. But do not let all your prayer run after deliverance from sorrow. Pray first, “Let not any iniquity have dominion over me.” Seek first obedience, and then deliverance shall be added unto you. You have asked forgiveness; take hold of the ransom, for God Himself says, “I have found a ransom.” The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, even while the battle rages. If any root of unforgiveness remains, ask the Spirit to pluck it up speedily, for that root gives the enemy a foothold.

Concerning your labour, commit that computer and all your work to God. Pray against the adversary, but also use wise and diligent means. Do not let fear of losing your employment eat up your peace. If the Lord permits trouble or loss, He will still keep you. Remember Job: he lost much, his flesh was smitten, and the enemy pressed him hard, yet in all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly. That is the victory which baffles the enemy. If you can resist sin while darkness covers your soul, you are more than a conqueror.

May the Lord rebuke the evil that touches your body and your labour. May He quiet your mind, guard your employment, and turn this present trial into a song of deliverance. You have not been given over unto death. Be not afraid. Let us ask Him now: Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, rebuke this evil and remove it. Grant deliverance, peace, rest, and forgiveness. Guard the work of these hands, and let no weapon formed against it prosper. Quiet the burning, silence the accuser, and keep this soul from sin in the hour of trial. In Jesus’ precious name, Amen.

You have cried out for deliverance, peace, rest, and forgiveness. This is a right plea, because peace is the mother of all good things and the foundation of joy. But true peace is not only the absence of trouble. It is the cutting away of what is diseased and the removal of what is rebellious. If sin or unforgiveness remains, peace cannot remain. Therefore I urge you first to make peace with God through repentance, and to make peace with anyone you have not forgiven. Ask Him to heal every root of unforgiveness, for unforgiveness burns within you more deeply than any outward attack can.

Then commit your work computer and your job to Him. Do not let fear of losing your livelihood rule you, because your ultimate rest is not in this life. There remains a rest for the people of God. The promise that nothing will harm you does not mean you will never face loss, accusation, or trouble. It means that your soul is kept in His pasture, and no one can thrust you out of His hand. If your employment is shaken, your God is not. Use all lawful care to protect your work, show your employer the truth, and do your duties diligently; but set your hope on heaven, not on the machine.

Do not make the Lord's promise a charm. The authority to trample serpents and scorpions is given to those who belong to Christ in humble faith and obedience. It is not a way to demand that every earthly trouble stop at once. The apostles were kept in security, not because they never suffered, but because they had become lords over the world in Christ and no one could cast them out of His kingdom. Pray against every evil, but also pray that you would be sanctified. Follow peace with all men and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord. Never buy relief by making peace with sin or with the world's false peace.

The God of love and peace is with those who are of one mind and live in peace. Ask Him to rebuke the enemy, to quench the burning of fear and affliction, to protect the work of your hands, and above all to give you His peace, not the world's peace. Receive it as He gives it: with holiness, with forgiveness from the heart, and with patient endurance. May the Lord grant you the deliverance you seek, rest for your soul, and safety in your daily labor.

Thank you for sharing your heart so honestly and for bringing these burdens to prayer. I hear your gratitude to the Father even in a hard season, and your cry for deliverance, peace, rest, forgiveness, and for the Lord to rebuke what has been attacking you, including the burning you feel and the strange trouble with your work computer when you were not even using it, along with the fear of losing your job. I also hear your desire to be forgiven and to be healed of any unforgiveness in your own heart.

Scripture gives us a helpful picture in the story of Job. He is described as a blameless and upright man, one who revered God and turned away from evil, and those two things go together. To reverence the Lord is to hate evil, and when that reverence is present a person turns from it. God himself bore witness that there was none like Job in that way. At the same time we are shown something Job could not see. The adversary had been going to and fro, walking up and down, observing people, and he had formed a theory about Job, that Job only served God for the blessings and benefits. God permitted a testing, but He set strict limits on what the enemy could do. Job's possessions were taken by raiding bands, then his health was struck so severely that he sat in ashes scraping his sores, and even his wife in her distress told him to curse God and die. His friends came and at first were stunned into silence, but then they offered counsel that only made things heavier, insisting that suffering must mean hidden sin and that if he would just get right with God everything would be fixed. Job did not understand his circumstances and cried out for answers, and his friends did not have them.

Your situation brings some of that to mind. The enemy is real and active, and Jesus spoke truly when He said in Luke 10:19 that He has given His followers authority to overcome all the power of the enemy and that nothing will ultimately harm them in the eternal sense. Yet the story of Job reminds us that God remains sovereign and sometimes permits trials that we do not understand, not because you have necessarily done something to deserve this attack, and not because He has abandoned you. He sees your ways and counts your steps. He hears your prayer for mercy and for a rebuke of evil.

The answer to Job's deepest cry is found in Christ. Job longed for someone who could stand between God and man and lay a hand on both. That mediator is Jesus. Through Him God has met our most basic needs. When we confess our sins and trust in Him, God counts that faith as righteousness, as He did for Abraham and for Job, and He forgives. Wisdom is found in revering the Lord, and understanding in turning from evil. As you keep turning to Him, receiving His word and laying it up in your heart, He is able to keep your soul from the pit, to give instruction, and to bring the true rest that the weary long for, not an unconscious sleep, but real peace and rest with God through Christ.

Let us pray together.

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your mercy and for this day You have given. I lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ. Please grant deliverance and rebuke what is evil that has been harassing and oppressing. Please command these attacks to stop, take away the constant burning and distress, and bring peace and rest and freedom. Put Your hand upon the work computer and upon employment, protect what is needed for work and provide stability. Forgive sins through the blood of Jesus, cleanse the heart, and heal any place of unforgiveness, helping to release others as You have released us. Fill this heart with Your peace that passes understanding and with confidence in the authority Jesus has given over the enemy. Draw near, speak comfort, and establish in wisdom and understanding.
