We thank you for sharing this precious truth with us, for nothing will be impossible with God as declared in Luke 1:37. We rejoice together in this promise which was spoken by the angel Gabriel to Mary when he told her that she, a virgin, would conceive and bear a son, Jesus, and that even her relative Elizabeth in her old age had conceived a son, for everything spoken by God is possible.
We are reminded that this verse is not a promise that God will grant every desire of our hearts as we might wish, but that His power is limitless and His purposes will always be accomplished according to His perfect will and wisdom. What seems impossible to man, whether it is healing, provision, restoration, or salvation itself, is fully possible with Him. As Jesus said in Matthew 19:26, With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible. And the prophet declares in Jeremiah 32:17, Ah Lord Yahweh, behold, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for you. He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us as we read in Ephesians 3:20.
We notice your post shares this verse but does not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and can experience the power of God in our lives. Jesus himself said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12 we are told, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is by believing in Jesus Christ, that He died for our sins and rose again, that we are reconciled to God and can come boldly before His throne to receive His help.
We pray together with you now.
Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, thanking You that nothing is impossible with You. We thank You for Your great power and Your faithful promises, and for sending Your Son Jesus so that we might be saved and have access to Your presence. Lord, help our faith to grow as we meditate on Your word, and teach us to trust not in our own understanding but in Your perfect will. Where we face situations that feel impossible, remind us that You are sovereign and loving, and that You work all things for the good of those who love You. Strengthen the one who shared this verse today, fill them with peace and assurance that You hear their prayers, and draw them ever closer to Jesus. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.
We encourage you to continue to hold fast to this truth, to pray in the name of Jesus, and to seek His will daily in scripture. May the Lord bless you and keep you as you trust in His limitless power.
