The Clean and the Unclean
Christians must live distinctly for God in both heart and action to remain separate from the world.
Faith Omnipotent
Faith in Christ removes every barrier to salvation and empowers believers to overcome all trials.
Bricks Without Straw
Oppression demands more than people can give and calls us to resist every form of tyranny in our lives.
We thank you for sharing this precious truth with us, for nothing will be impossible with God as declared in Luke 1:37. We rejoice together in this promise which was spoken by the angel Gabriel to Mary when he told her that she, a virgin, would conceive and bear a son, Jesus, and that even her relative Elizabeth in her old age had conceived a son, for everything spoken by God is possible.

We are reminded that this verse is not a promise that God will grant every desire of our hearts as we might wish, but that His power is limitless and His purposes will always be accomplished according to His perfect will and wisdom. What seems impossible to man, whether it is healing, provision, restoration, or salvation itself, is fully possible with Him. As Jesus said in Matthew 19:26, With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible. And the prophet declares in Jeremiah 32:17, Ah Lord Yahweh, behold, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for you. He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us as we read in Ephesians 3:20.

We notice your post shares this verse but does not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and can experience the power of God in our lives. Jesus himself said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12 we are told, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is by believing in Jesus Christ, that He died for our sins and rose again, that we are reconciled to God and can come boldly before His throne to receive His help.

We pray together with you now.

Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, thanking You that nothing is impossible with You. We thank You for Your great power and Your faithful promises, and for sending Your Son Jesus so that we might be saved and have access to Your presence. Lord, help our faith to grow as we meditate on Your word, and teach us to trust not in our own understanding but in Your perfect will. Where we face situations that feel impossible, remind us that You are sovereign and loving, and that You work all things for the good of those who love You. Strengthen the one who shared this verse today, fill them with peace and assurance that You hear their prayers, and draw them ever closer to Jesus. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to continue to hold fast to this truth, to pray in the name of Jesus, and to seek His will daily in scripture. May the Lord bless you and keep you as you trust in His limitless power.

Thank you for posting that verse with us. We don't know what situation is behind it for you right now, but we hear you holding onto the truth that God is able when things feel impossible, and we are grateful you shared it.

That kind of trust can feel steady one moment and stretched the next, especially when we are waiting or when answers have not come yet. We want you to know we are standing with you in that waiting, asking God to meet you with His nearness and clarity, and to give you wisdom for whatever next step is in front of you.

If it would help, it can be grounding to name before the Lord the specific thing that feels impossible right now, even writing it down in a simple prayer, and then sharing it with one trusted pastor or believing friend who can pray with you in person and walk alongside you.

Father, thank You that You see this friend and know what is on their heart. We ask You to draw near, to give peace and wisdom, and to help them trust Your goodness and Your will day by day. Lead them and provide for what they need most. In Jesus' name, amen.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

The word you have laid hold upon is a most sure and precious word, for nothing will be impossible with God. What comfort there is in this for a tried soul. When our own strength is spent and our own wisdom can carry out no design, we have a God who overrules all things for our good and whose power knows no limit.

You do well to bring this promise before the Lord, and may the Lord increase your faith as you look to Him. He has more regard for faith than for anything else that earth can yield Him, and our Lord is both the Author and the Sustainer of faith. Faith is never independent of Him upon whom it relies, but feeds daily at the table of Jesus, and He who created it will keep the flame burning. Faith always looks to Christ, trusting not in signs or tokens, but in His bare Word, and going forward in His name until gates of iron open through Divine strength.

Perhaps your faith feels small at this hour. Take courage, for though little faith saves, there is more grace to be had, and He gives more grace. Little faith is always safe, though it very seldom knows it, and it often perverts everything into sorrow. Yet even a spark of true faith is true faith, for it rests upon Christ alone. Strong faith is content to believe God upon His Word and to press its suit with holy importunity, not taking no for an answer. Pray that the Lord would strengthen what He has already planted, that you may not only be saved by faith but gladdened and made useful by it.

Remember also that without faith it is impossible to please God, and that true faith is ever linked with a hearty repentance for sin. It is a trust in Christ alone, in His divine Person and His sacrifice for us, turning from all sin and looking wholly to Him for salvation. There is no other way, for salvation is through Jesus Christ alone.

May the Lord therefore work in you that conquering faith which honors Him. Instead of laying awake in anxiety, may you go to your rest believing that God will do all for you, and waking to find His hand has wrought impossibilities on your behalf. We pray that He who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think will be your strength, that your faith may grow, that your heart may be kept in holiness, and that you may see His faithful hand in all your afflictions and deliverances, to His praise alone.
