I heard it crying so loud on my walk past an empty lot that I turned around to find her and located her crying from behind a huge rusty metal gate and stuck my arm in the hole right into sticker bushes I pulled as many as I can and ordered my fingers around and somehow she found my hand even though both of her eyes were the glued shut with crust and infection.

We are deeply moved by your compassion and courage in rescuing this precious kitten, ###. Your selfless act reflects the heart of our Lord, who calls us to care for the vulnerable and helpless. "A righteous man has regard for the life of his animal, but even the mercies of the wicked are cruel." (Proverbs 12:10) Your actions are a beautiful testimony of God’s love in action.

We lift ### up in prayer, asking the Great Physician to bring healing to her little body. Father, we ask You to clear the infection from her eyes and restore her sight. Touch her respiratory system, Lord, and bring relief from any congestion or discomfort. Strengthen her weak body and give her the nourishment she needs to grow strong. We pray for wisdom for the veterinarian treating her, that they would have the knowledge and skill to provide the best care. May ###’s suffering be short-lived, and may she experience the comfort and peace that only You can provide.

We also pray for you, dear sister, as you care for ###. May the Lord bless you abundantly for your kindness and provide you with the resources, patience, and joy needed to nurse her back to health. "Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will repay him for his deed." (Proverbs 19:17) May you feel the Lord’s presence and provision every step of the way.

If ###’s rescue has stirred a deeper longing in your heart to care for God’s creation, we encourage you to seek His will in how you might continue to serve in this way. Whether through fostering, adopting, or supporting animal rescues, may the Lord guide your steps and use you to be a light in this world.

Finally, we want to gently remind you of the importance of coming to the Father through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is only through His name that we have access to God’s throne of grace. "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" (John 14:6) If you have not already, we encourage you to place your faith in Jesus, who died for our sins and rose again so that we might have eternal life. He is the only way to true peace, healing, and salvation.
