Luckily I just stopped all the christianity nonsense as it was not working out and I stopped attending church, and stop reading the bible and good things seemed to be happening I can pay my bills and I do not need to rely on your God which it is a lie to begin with.

We hear what you have shared and we are grieved to read that you have turned away from the Lord and are now calling Him a lie, and we want to respond to you in truth and love because your soul is precious to God.

What you are experiencing is not evidence that God is not real or that following Jesus does not work. The ability you now have to pay your bills is not proof that you do not need God, it is actually evidence of His patience and common grace toward you. Jesus said that your Father in heaven makes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the just and the unjust Matthew 5:45, and every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights James 1:17. Even when a person rejects Him, God still sustains their life and breath. Good circumstances in this moment do not mean you are right with God, and hard circumstances do not mean God has failed you.

We must lovingly rebuke the idea that Christianity is something to try to see if it works out for financial or personal benefit, and then to discard when it does not give you what you want. That is not biblical faith. God is not a transaction to make our bills easier, He is our Creator and Judge and Savior. There is a way which seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death Proverbs 14:12. To stop reading the Bible and to stop gathering with believers is dangerous for your heart, because we are warned not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is Hebrews 10:25, and to exhort one another daily, so that none of you will be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin Hebrews 3:13.

We also must address that you called God a lie. Scripture says The fool has said in his heart, There is no God Psalm 14:1, and that what is known about God is revealed, so that people are without excuse Romans 1:20. To call the living God a lie is serious before Him, yet even now He is being patient with you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance 2 Peter 3:9. The enemy wants you to believe that independence from God is freedom, but the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving 2 Corinthians 4:4. What does it profit a man, if he gains the whole world, and loses or forfeits his own self Luke 9:25. Paying bills in this life cannot save your soul for eternity.

We notice you did not call upon the name of Jesus in your request, and we must tell you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and hope for salvation. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. All of us have sinned and the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord Romans 6:23. If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9. For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life John 3:16.

We pray together for you now.

We pray, Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, have mercy on this one who has turned away and hardened their heart toward You. We ask You to open their eyes to see that You are real and that You are holy and that You love them. We pray You would convict them by Your Holy Spirit, soften their heart, and remove the deception that temporary provision means they do not need You. We pray they would hear Your voice today and not harden their heart Hebrews 3:15, and that they would turn from calling You a lie and instead call upon the name of Jesus to be saved. We ask that You would draw them back to Your Word and to fellowship with true believers, that they would hunger again for truth and repent and believe the gospel before it is too late. We ask that You would show them that true life and peace are only found in Christ, not in financial ease apart from You. We pray this in the saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and only hope, amen.

We urge you to reconsider while there is still time. God is not done with you. Pick up the Bible again, even starting in the Gospel of John, and cry out to Jesus honestly and ask Him to reveal Himself to you if He is true. He will answer those who seek Him with a humble heart. Today if you will hear his voice, do not harden your heart.

Father, Paul's heart's desire and prayer to You for Israel was that they'd be saved, Rom 10:1. He expressed gut-wrenching grief and anguish over the majority of Israel and it springs him into the deepest contemplations on sovereignty and election offered in the Bible, Rom 9:1-33, deeper than Jesus mentions several times, John 6:44, Matt 10:25, John 10:2-42. He goes on to say some of the reasons they stumbled and warns us to not make the same mistake: "They ignored Your way of making us righteous by having the Messiah not come on His first coming as a "Heroic Lion" but as a "Sacrificial Lamb," and sought rather to set up their own standard as an idol to worship rather than submit to the Messiah, Rom 10:1-4.

Well such topics are beyond my pay grade, as Augustine says, "I can see the well, and know it is deep, but cannot fathom the depths of these things for they are unfathomable." But I can ask, Paul still did even though You told him they would not receive his testimony, though they knew him as the most zealous Christian-hater that had ever walked the earth up to His encounter with the Risen Lord Jesus who he was actually persecuting. We're thankful You saved the Apostle Paul, Jesus... We pray You get the motives correct for our brother as well, 1 Cor 4:5. Forgive him for every idle word, Matt 12:36, and for living for this world, 1 Jn 2:15, instead of what the Bible teaches, Matt 16:23, and even for possibly causing others to stumble, Matt 10:42, Mk 9:42, Lk 17:2. Thank You for being Gracious and Compassionate, Slow to Anger and Abounding in Love, Ex 34:5-8. Thank You in Jesus' Name.

Your words have been heard with great heaviness of heart, and they have not been taken lightly before the Lord. You speak of leaving Christ and His Word and finding for a season that your bills are paid and your life seems more settled, and you conclude from this that you have no need of God and that He is not true. We cannot affirm that conclusion, nor can we ask God to bless the path you have chosen, for to do so would be to speak falsely to your soul.

Outward ease is no proof of inward peace, nor is present prosperity a sign that all is well between a man and his Maker. The Scriptures warn us that judgment may produce a carnal repentance, a repentance that is of the flesh and after the manner of the sinful nature, but true repentance is of another sort altogether. It is the work of the Holy Spirit in the renewed heart, and it gives God glory. It makes a man weep and abhor his past life because of the love of Christ which has pardoned it, and it makes him avoid present sin because of the love of God who died for him. Have you known such a repentance as this, one that leads you to look out of self to Christ and to Christ only. That is repentance unto life, practical and lasting, yielding works meet for repentance, not a fleeting sorrow that soon passes away.

There are reasons why some leave Christ, as there were in our Lord's own day, because they cannot bear His doctrine. Unless the heart is deeply plowed with genuine repentance and thoroughly rooted and grounded in the faith, a profession may wither when trial comes. To stop attending the house of God and to lay aside the Bible is not a small thing, it exposes an inward departure of the heart from Christ. Yet even this does not place you beyond the reach of mercy.

Hear the word of comfort for the prodigal. The eyes of mercy are quicker than the eyes of repentance. You may not now see the Father, but the Father sees you. When the prodigal was yet a great way off, his father saw him and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him with much love. Those repeated kisses meant much love, much forgiveness, and full restoration. The son would have said, make me as one of thy hired servants, but the father would not have it so. By that kiss his sonship was acknowledged, and there was music and dancing in the house. So it is with God over one poor soul that wanders far from Him but at last returns. We have seen this in Manasseh, who did evil in the sight of the Lord for many years and was bound in affliction, yet when he humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers, Almighty grace made him a remarkable convert. If such a wretch was brought to repentance, no one need despair.

Repentance and remission of sins are preached in the name of Jesus, and they are so joined together that where there is true repentance there is full and free forgiveness. Repentance is not a bitter task to be gotten through once at the beginning and then forgotten. Repentance lives as long as faith lives. It is the gift of God, not the work of man to offer to God, and it is inseparable from faith in Christ who alone can save. Salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, by His finished work upon the cross, and there is no other name by which we must be saved.

We do not rejoice in your present contentment apart from God, for we know it cannot last and cannot save. The goodness you now enjoy in being able to provide for yourself is itself of the Lord's forbearance, and His goodness is meant to lead you to repentance, to stir in your heart a burning indignation against sin because it is committed against so holy and so good a Being as the infinitely blessed God.

Our prayer for you is not that God would confirm you in this way, but that He would grant you that holy, healthy, heavenly repentance which needs not to be repented of, that you would arise and go to the Father through Jesus Christ, confessing your sin and trusting His blood alone. Turn again to the Word you have laid aside, seek again the assembly of God's people you have forsaken, and cry to Him who waits to be gracious. He will yet receive with kisses of love all who come to Him by faith in His Son.

Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
