Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf concerning those who are lovers of themselves and highly self centered. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for them to be brought to faith in Christ and to be changed.
We have been praying that the Lord will work in the hearts of those who are consumed with themselves, that He will convict them of pride and selfishness and draw them to repentance and to salvation through Jesus Christ. We know that Scripture warns us that in the last days people will be lovers of themselves as written in 2 Tim 3:2, and we pray that instead they will learn to value others above themselves as taught in Phil 2:3 and to deny themselves and follow Christ as Jesus calls us to in Matt 16:24.
We continue to ask God to soften hard hearts, to humble the proud, to replace self love with love for Christ and love for others, and to bring true transformation by His grace.
