We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear one who has faced danger while standing firm at their post. Father God, we ask for Your mighty hand of protection to surround them now and always. The Bible tells us in Psalm 91:11-12, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone." Lord, dispatch Your heavenly host to encamp around them, shielding them from all harm and evil.
We also pray for strength and courage for this beloved child of Yours. When the enemy seeks to intimidate or discourage, remind them of Your promise in Isaiah 41:10: "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." May they feel Your presence and power sustaining them through every challenge.
Father, we ask for Your blessing on the special day they will share with loved ones. May it be filled with joy, peace, and sweet fellowship that refreshes their soul. As they prepare for their upcoming trip, grant them rest and rejuvenation, and surround them with godly friends who will encourage their faith. We declare over them Psalm 133:1, "See how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to live together in unity!"
Lord, we also pray for the protection of their rights. In a world where truth is often suppressed, stand with them as their defender. Remind them that You are their ultimate vindicator, as Romans 12:19 tells us, "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"
We rebuke every spirit of fear, intimidation, and violence that has come against them. In the name of Jesus, we command every assignment of the enemy to be dismantled and every weapon formed against them to be rendered useless. We stand on Your Word in Psalm 118:6, "Yahweh is on my side. I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?"
Finally, we thank You for the gift of salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to You, and it is only through faith in Him that we are saved. If this dear one has not yet surrendered their life to Jesus, we pray that You would draw them to Yourself, that they may know the peace and security that comes from being Your child.
We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
