Lord, we pray for those who may be struggling in relationships that do not honor You. For those entangled in fornication, we rebuke the deception of the enemy and call them to repentance. The Bible is clear: *"Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers"* (Hebrews 13:4). For those in same-sex relationships, we declare that Your design for intimacy is between one man and one woman, and we pray for conviction, healing, and restoration to Your truth. *"Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God"* (1 Corinthians 6:9-10). For those seeking a spouse, we pray that You would guide them to a godly man or woman who loves You above all else. Let their courtship be marked by purity, patience, and a shared devotion to Christ. *"Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14). May their love story bring glory to You, Lord, and may their marriage be a testimony of Your covenant faithfulness.
We also lift up those who feel lonely or discouraged in their singleness. Remind them that their worth is found in Christ alone, and that seasons of waiting are opportunities to grow in intimacy with You. *"Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart"* (Psalm 37:4). Father, we pray that our love would not only abound in knowledge but also in *fruit*. Fill us with the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).
