🕯️ Love Increases in Knowledge, Discernment & Spotless Reality Until Day of Christ, Limitless Fruit 🍓🥭🍇 for God's Glory & Praise Phil 1:9-11...

"WE pray that our love may abound still more and more in real knowledge and all discernment, so that WE BELIEVERS may approve the things that are excellent, in order to be sincere and blameless until the day of Christ; having been filled with the fruit of righteousness which comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God," in Jesus' Name (Phil 1:9-11).

We join you in this holy and beautiful prayer from Phil 1:9-11 and we say amen to your desire that love would not remain shallow or sentimental but would abound still more and more in real knowledge and all discernment. This is how Paul prayed for the believers, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and all discernment, so that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offense to the day of Christ, being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God. Phil 1:9-11

We love that you are asking for love that increases, because true biblical love is not blind. It rejoices in the truth, 1 Cor 13:6, and it grows as we grow in the knowledge of God. We are reminded that wisdom and discernment are gifts from the Lord, for the Lord gives wisdom, out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding, Prov 2:6, and if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him, James 1:5. As we abound in that knowledge we are able to approve the things that are excellent, to test and discern what is good and what merely appears good, to walk as children of light, for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth, proving what is well pleasing to the Lord, Eph 5:9-10.

We also hear your heart for spotless reality until the day of Christ and for limitless fruit for God's glory and praise. This is the very purpose for which we were saved and kept, that we would be sincere and blameless, and that we would be filled with the fruit of righteousness which comes only through Jesus Christ. Apart from Him we can bear no fruit, for Jesus said, I am the vine, you are the branches, he who remains in me and I in him bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing, John 15:5, and in this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples, John 15:8. That fruit is both the inward character of Christ formed in us, but the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self control, Gal 5:22-23, and the outward life of good works that flows from it.

We pray together with you now.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to You and through whom alone comes the fruit of righteousness to Your glory. We thank You for Your Word and for this prayer You have put on our hearts. We ask that You cause our love to abound more and more in real knowledge and all discernment. Give us a deeper knowledge of Your character, Your Word, and Your will, and give us spiritual discernment to approve what is excellent and to turn from what is hollow or harmful. Make us sincere and without offense until the day of Christ, keeping us spotless and blameless as we look for Your promise, as it is written, be diligent to be found in peace without defect and blameless in his sight, 2 Pet 3:14. Fill us to overflowing with the fruits of righteousness which come through Jesus Christ, that our lives would bear limitless fruit that remains, not for our praise but to Your glory and praise alone. Teach us to walk worthily of the Lord, to please You in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God, Col 1:10. We ask this in the precious and only saving name of Jesus Christ, amen.

We encourage you to continue to abide in Christ daily through prayer and the Word, for it is as we remain in Him that love and discernment grow together. Keep testing all things by Scripture, keep seeking to approve what is excellent rather than what is merely acceptable, and keep fixing your hope on the day of Christ when He will present us faultless. May the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another and toward all men, 1 Thess 3:12, until that Day, and may your life be a continual offering of fruit to the glory and praise of God.

We love how you put this prayer, not just for more love in general, but for love that keeps growing deeper and wiser, more discerning, more sincere, and fruitful over the long haul until Christ returns.

That kind of love is not sentimental. It learns, it notices, it chooses what is excellent, and it wants to stay pure and blameless before the Lord. And the fruit that comes from it is not forced. It is grown as we stay yielded to Christ and walk closely with Him day by day.

If it helps, a quiet practice for the week ahead is to take one ordinary decision or conversation each day and pause to ask, what would love shaped by knowledge and clear discernment choose here, what is excellent and honors God. Even writing that one choice down at night can make the growth more visible and keep you attentive to how God is forming you. Walking that out with one or two trusted believers who know you well also sharpens discernment in a way we cannot get alone.

We are praying for you and with you.

Father, we thank You for this hunger for mature love. Grow knowledge and discernment in our friend, keep them sincere and steadfast as they look toward the day of Christ, and fill their life with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus to Your glory and praise. Lead them day by day in Your wisdom and love. In Jesus' name, amen.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

We join you heartily in this prayer from Philippians chapter one verses nine to eleven, that love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all discernment.

This is a prayer after the very mind of the Spirit, for love without knowledge is blind, and knowledge without love is cold. As we have often taught, knowledge opens the door and then through that door we see our Savior, and to know Him is to love Him, and the more we know the more we shall love. Faith must have that upon which to feed, and love must have that by which to see what is excellent, that we may approve the things that are excellent and be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ.

We pray with you that the Lord would shed abroad His love in your heart as sweet perfume poured from an alabaster box, filling your entire nature, and that out of His abounding love there may arise in you that answering love toward Him which is a spark of His own eternal flame, never to be quenched. May He give you not only to know your need but to perceive and enjoy the supply which is in Christ Jesus, even heart knowledge and spiritual fellowship with Him, that you may comprehend with all saints what is the breadth and length and depth and height, and know the love of Christ which passes knowledge.

And we ask the Lord to keep you blameless and sincere until the day of His appearing, not by your own strength, but by being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ. For when the law entered, sin abounded, but grace did much more abound, and that grace which freely loves the unworthy must also freely keep and perfect the beloved. May that grace teach you to discern, to choose the excellent way, to walk in spotless reality, and to bring forth limitless fruit, not for your own praise but unto the glory and praise of God.

So we commend you to Him who loved you freely and who will love you to the end, praying that your love may abound, your knowledge may increase, your discernment may be clear, and your life may be filled with fruit, to the glory of His great name through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

We join you in this prayer from Philippians 1:9-11 and give thanks for your desire that love should abound more and more for the glory of God.

The Apostle shows that love is a good of which there is no satiety. The measure of love is to stop nowhere, and the debt of love is always owing. Yet he does not pray for love alone, but for love in knowledge and all discernment. There are those who love without reason, simply and in any way, and such friendship is weak. True love loves with judgment and with discrimination, so that we may approve the things that are excellent, that is, the things that are truly profitable and holy. This protects us from receiving what is false under the pretense of love, and from harming others by an undiscerning affection.

For this reason Paul adds that we should be sincere and without offense until the day of Christ, sincere before God and without offense before men, causing no one to stumble, and pure when the Lord comes. And this life is not from ourselves, but being filled with the fruit of righteousness which comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God. Fruitfulness is from choice, and God crowns those who choose the good. As we attend to the Scriptures with earnestness and consider one another to provoke unto love and good works, not forsaking assembling together, love is made more warm and all good things arise from it.

So we pray with you, that your love may abound still more and more in real knowledge and all discernment, that you may approve what is excellent and be sincere and blameless until the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God. May the Lord give you tender mercies like His own, warm and steadfast, and keep you in His grace until that day, in Jesus Name, Amen.
