🕯️ Love Increases in Knowledge, Discernment & Spotless Reality Until Day of Christ, Limitless Fruit 🍓🥭🍇 for God's Glory & Praise Phil 1:9-11...

"WE pray that our love may abound still more and more in real knowledge and all discernment, so that WE BELIEVERS may approve the things that are excellent, in order to be sincere and blameless until the day of Christ; having been filled with the fruit of righteousness which comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God," in Jesus' Name (Phil 1:9-11).

We join you wholeheartedly in this prayer from Phil 1:9-11 and we say amen to your desire that love would increase in knowledge, discernment and spotless reality until the day of Christ with limitless fruit for God's glory and praise.

We love how you have prayed the Scripture itself, for this is exactly the heart of the apostle Paul when he said, This I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and all discernment, so that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offense to the day of Christ, being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God, Phil 1:9-11. We are reminded that biblical love is not mere sentiment, it abounds in real knowledge and all discernment, and knowledge without love puffs up, but love builds up, 1 Cor 8:1. Together we ask the Lord to give us that mature love that can approve the things that are excellent and walk as children of light, proving what is well pleasing to the Lord, Eph 5:8-10, and to walk worthily of the Lord, to please him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God, Col 1:10.

We also hear your longing for spotless reality and limitless fruit, and we know this fruit does not come from our own strength but through Jesus Christ, for apart from Him we can do nothing, John 15:5, yet herein is our Father glorified, that we bear much fruit, and so we will be His disciples, John 15:8. We long with you to be found sincere and without offense until the day of Christ, giving diligence that we may be found in peace, without defect and blameless in His sight, 2 Pet 3:14.

We pray together now, Father in heaven, we thank You for Your Word and for the work You have begun in us. We ask in the name of Jesus Christ that You would cause our love to abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment, that we may approve what is excellent and be sincere and blameless until the day of Christ. Fill us with the fruits of righteousness which come through Jesus Christ, to Your glory and praise. Keep us abiding in Christ, rooted and growing, that our lives would bear much fruit and that all glory would go to You. Teach us to love with wisdom, to discern with humility, and to live with holiness as we await the return of our Lord. We ask this in the precious and only saving name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Thank you for bringing this desire before the Lord so clearly. We hear a heart that wants love to be more than warm feelings, love that grows in understanding and clear judgment, that learns to choose what is truly excellent and to live in a way that is sincere and ready for Christ's return, bearing fruit that gives God glory.

That is a beautiful and mature prayer, and we join you in it. What has helped us is remembering that this kind of growth is not instant. Like fruit, it forms over time as we stay close to the Lord, learn His ways, and let His Spirit shape our character. Discernment grows as we practice approving the excellent in small daily decisions, not only turning from what is wrong but actively choosing what is good and pleasing to Him. And love that is rooted in truth keeps us both kind and clear.

One simple way to keep this prayer alive is to make it your own each morning for a season, praying it back to God in your own words and asking Him to show you one choice that day where love can act with wisdom.

Father, we thank You for this hunger for real love and discernment. Form this work more and more in our friend, keep them sincere and steadfast, and fill their life with the quiet fruit of righteousness through Jesus Christ for Your glory and praise. In Jesus' name, amen.

What a blessed and apostolic prayer you have laid upon the heart of the church, and how sweetly it echoes the very words of Paul to the saints at Philippi.

We do join with you in this supplication, that your love may abound yet more and more. Not a love that rests content with its first spark, but a love that grows, that deepens, that abounds. As we have often seen, knowledge opens the door and then through that door we see our Savior, and to know Him is to love Him. So we pray that the Lord will give you real knowledge, spiritual knowledge, heart knowledge of Christ and His cross, and all discernment, that you may approve the things that are excellent.

May that abounding love keep you sincere and without offence, spotless in reality before God, not merely in profession but in the inward parts, until the day of Christ. For He who has loved you freely, not for any goodness in you but of His own sovereign grace, will keep you. His love abounding over abounding sin is your security, and the perfume of that love, poured into your soul by the Holy Spirit, shall preserve you blameless till He comes.

And we pray also that you may be filled with the fruit of righteousness which comes through Jesus Christ. This fruit is not of your own planting, but through Him who is our life and strength. Abide in Him, contemplate His love which passes knowledge, feed upon Him by faith, and the fruit shall be limitless, not for your boasting but to the glory and praise of God.

So let us pray together. O Lord our God, who hast loved us with an everlasting love, fulfill in our brother and in us this gracious word. Cause our love to abound in knowledge and discernment, make us to love what Thou lovest and to approve what Thou approvest, keep us sincere and blameless until the day of Christ, and fill us with the fruits of righteousness by Jesus Christ, that in all things Thou mayest have the glory and the praise. Grant this for Jesus sake, in whose name we ask it. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer from Philippians 1:9 to 11 is good and we join our prayer with yours in the name of Jesus Christ.

We pray that your love may abound still more and more, for love in Christ has no limit and should never be satisfied to stay where it is. Yet the Apostle does not pray for love alone, but for love in real knowledge and all discernment. There are those who love without reason and without judgment, and such friendship is weak and can even lead to harm. True love is with understanding, so that you may approve the things that are excellent, the things that are truly profitable for the soul, and not receive what is false under the appearance of love.

We pray therefore that you may be sincere and blameless before God and without offense before men, until the day of Christ, causing no one to stumble and keeping yourself pure for that day. And we pray that you may be filled with the fruit of righteousness which comes through Jesus Christ alone, not from our own strength or our own moral life, but through Him. For He alone is the King of righteousness and the source of all virtue, and all is to the glory and praise of God, not to our own glory.

May God grant you to live in this discernment and to bear this fruit richly, looking to the Sun of Righteousness and attaining the good things promised by Him, by the grace and love of our Lord Jesus Christ, to whom be glory and might forever and ever. Amen.
