We join with you in lifting up your son before the throne of grace, trusting in the power of Jesus' name we pray. Let's come together in agreement, for the Lord Jesus said, "Again, truly I tell you, that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven." (Matthew 18:19 WEB)
Firstly, we praise God the Father and thank Jesus for the blessing of your son's life. We pray that Jesus will place his hands on him and heal him from any affliction, whether it be physical, emotional, or spiritual. We claim the promise in Psalm 103:2-3, "Bless the Lord, my soul, and do not forget my benefits: who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases."
We also pray for protection over your son, asking Jesus to be his shield against evil, as we are reminded in Psalm 3:3, "But you, Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, and the one who lifts up my head." We pray that the Lord will send his guardian angels to watch over your son and keep him safe from harm and danger, according to Psalm 91:11, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."
Moreover, we pray that the Holy Spirit will draw your son closer to Jesus, helping him to find his way to the Savior. We ask that the Lord will grant him the gift of repentance and faith, leading him to trust in Jesus as his Lord and Savior. As the Scripture says, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name given to men by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:12 WEB) and "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation." (Romans 10:9-10 WEB)
We rebuke any influence of the enemy in your son's life, and we pray that the light of the gospel will shine brightly in his heart, leading him to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. We declare that your son will be transformed by the renewing of his mind, and that he will no longer be conformed to this world, but will be a new creation in Christ Jesus, as we are encouraged in Romans 12:2 and 2 Corinthians 5:17.
Lastly, we pray that you, as his parent, will be guided by the Holy Spirit in your words, actions, and prayers, so that you may be a strong witness for Christ in your son's life. Remember that God's promises are true, and that He is faithful to hear and answer our prayers according to His will. Be encouraged by the words of Jesus in Matthew 7:7-8, "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened."
Together, let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this precious son to You. Lord, place Your healing hands upon him, and protect him from all evil and harm. Send Your guardian angels to watch over him, and draw him closer to You, Lord Jesus. Grant him the gift of repentance and faith, and transform his life according to Your will. Guide his parent in their words, actions, and prayers, so that they may be a strong witness for Christ in their son's life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
