Lost glasses and need rest

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Help finding my other glasses, none of these glasses are really helping my vision right now they are not getting them right. So tired of these battles Lord and with this evil mngs they are so corrupt and need major strength and Restoration to continue for justice. These are your battles Jesus Help please.

We hear your weariness and frustration, dear one, and we join you in bringing these burdens before the Lord. It is clear that you are seeking His intervention in both practical and spiritual battles, and we stand with you in faith, lifting these concerns to the throne of grace.

First, we pray for your physical need, your vision and the frustration of not having the right glasses. Father, we ask You to guide this dear one to the right solution, whether it be through resources, clarity in finding what is lost, or even divine provision for new glasses that will restore proper sight. Your Word tells us in Psalm 34:15, "The eyes of Yahweh are toward the righteous, His ears listen to their cry." We trust that You see this need and will provide in Your perfect timing.

We also lift up the deeper battle you are facing, the corruption and injustice that weigh heavily on your heart. The enemy seeks to wear down the righteous, but we declare that this is not your fight alone. As Exodus 14:14 reminds us, "Yahweh will fight for you, and you shall be still." We rebuke the schemes of the enemy in this situation and stand on the promise that God is a God of justice. Psalm 89:14 says, "Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne." We pray for restoration, strength, and divine intervention in the corrupt systems you are contending with. May the Lord expose truth, bring accountability, and restore what has been broken.

We also want to gently encourage you to examine whether there is any area where bitterness or unforgiveness may be taking root. The enemy would love to use these battles to harden our hearts, but Scripture calls us to forgive as we have been forgiven (Colossians 3:13). If there is anyone you need to release to the Lord, we pray for the grace to do so, knowing that vengeance belongs to God alone (Romans 12:19).

Lastly, we want to remind you that your strength comes from the Lord. Isaiah 40:31 says, "But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint." Even in weariness, He is your refuge. We pray that you would find rest in His presence, trusting that He is working even when you cannot see it.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one who is weary and in need of Your touch. Lord, we ask for Your provision regarding their vision, guide them to the right solution, whether it be finding what is lost or providing what is needed. We also lift up the battles they are facing against corruption and injustice. You see the schemes of the enemy, and we declare that no weapon formed against Your child shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Bring restoration, expose truth, and let Your justice prevail.

Father, we ask for renewed strength for this dear one. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and remind them that You are their refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2). Help them to cast their cares upon You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). If there is any unforgiveness or bitterness in their heart, soften it, Lord, and fill them with Your love and grace.

We thank You that You are a God who fights for Your children. We trust in Your promises and declare that this battle belongs to You. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We hear you, it’s exhausting when even small things like misplaced glasses pile onto the weight of much larger battles. When your vision, both literal and otherwise, feels cloudy, it’s hard to keep stepping forward. Let’s start with what’s hands-on: take a few quiet minutes and methodically retrace your steps, checking the most common spots (nightstand, bathroom, near the computer, that one drawer you rarely open). Sometimes saying a simple “Jesus, guide my eyes” settles the frantic search and brings a little peace even in the searching.

Beyond the glasses, the deeper weariness you’re carrying, the sense of fighting corrupt systems and needing major strength to keep seeking justice, that’s the heart of it. We know that feeling of being worn thin by protracted struggle. One truth that steadies us is that real change often comes not in a single dramatic event but through the quiet, daily walking, one tired step after another. You don’t have to be your own rescuer or keep your fists up around the clock. These really are His battles, and He invites you to rest in that reality, even while you remain faithful in the day-to-day.

So as you scoop up your glasses, let yourself also receive His rest. Lay the weight of the “evil managers” and the endless battles at His feet tonight, trusting that He who does not slumber can handle what your soul cannot. You don’t need a ten-step plan; you need His presence and a good night’s sleep to face tomorrow.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this weary one to You. Please help those missing glasses turn up quickly, and grant real rest to a mind and body that need it. For the corruption and injustice they face, give them supernatural strength and wisdom, and fight for them in ways they can’t see. Restore their energy and hope, and let them sense Your nearness tonight. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The weariness you feel is not hidden from Him who neither slumbers nor sleeps. When the eyes fail and every lens seems wrong, remember that the Lord sees your path and knows the dust of it. Your strength has come to an end, and that is no accident. All strength apart from God is derived strength, measurable and quickly spent. Even the strongest frame must fail. But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. Do not wait upon the finding of glasses, nor upon the ceasing of the battle, nor upon the justice you long to see. Wait upon the Lord Himself.

Fling yourself upon divine strength when there remains no strength in you. He gives power to the faint, and to them that have no might He increaseth strength. The fight with corrupt men and evil doings is not your battle to carry in your own hands. It is the Lord's. The glory of your strength must never lie in your own resolve, your own sharpness of sight, your own weariness or even your own endurance. It must lie in God alone.

Do not be ashamed of being down. Peter was down, and soon he was up again, for the Lord turned and looked upon him. That look cut him off from the crowd and brought him out into the cold and into tears, and then into restoration. The Lord has prayed for you, and His prayer is effectual. He saw your fall before it came, and He sees your restoration now. One look from Christ can do what rest cannot, what better glasses cannot, what the end of the battle cannot. Seek that look.

Rest in this: the battle is not yours to win by staying awake. You are tired, and tiredness is not sin. Sleep is a gift. Lie down in peace, for the Lord neither slumbers nor sleeps. He will guard the justice you cannot secure. He will restore the strength you have spent. And when you rise, you will find your other glasses or you will find grace to do without them. But you will not find your strength in yourself. You will find it in waiting upon Him.

The Lord sees how tired you are, and He does not despise your need for rest. Ask Him plainly for the lost glasses, search in peace, and then let the matter rest. Do not let that frustration become a cloud over your whole soul. Say to yourself what the Psalm gives you: Return to your rest, O my soul, for the Lord has dealt bountifully with you. You will fear no evil, for He is with you. He is your refuge from the affliction that surrounds you. Grief can act like strong drink; do not be drunk with it.

About the corrupt men, I would be unfaithful if I only comforted you without warning you. Our lips should be pure from reviling. If their deeds are true, it is not for you to pronounce final sentence; the Judge will inquire. If your words go beyond truth, the fire is greater. Remember the thief on the cross who said, We are under the same condemnation. Let him who stands take heed lest he fall. You do not help your cause by letting their corruption stir up corruption in you.

The battle is the Lord's, and His justice is certain. When evil men seem to succeed, they are not beyond His sight. Nothing exasperates God like violence and extortion, because such sins come from wilful negligence, not from natural desire. But your strength is not found in carrying His vengeance. When you suffer evil at the hands of men, bear it nobly. God in His lovingkindness reckons patient endurance of wrong toward your debt. That does not make evil good; it means God will settle accounts. Wait for Him.

There remains a rest for the people of God. Do not harden your heart because of these battles. If no rest remained, God would not have given the exhortation. You need restoration, and He offers it first to the inner man: the testimony of a pure conscience. If you are suffering for well-doing, that conscience can comfort you and even crown you. Ask Him for that clear sight, then for the glasses, and then sleep. He who keeps you will not slumber.
