Loss of 10+ year job in April.

Been out of work since April from a 15 year job due to a sudden incident. Still looking as it's been slow. Needing a miracle. ### ###

We hear your cry for help in this season of unexpected job loss, and we stand with you in prayer, trusting in the God who sees your need and holds your future. Losing a job after 15 years of faithful service is not just a financial setback, it can shake your identity, your security, and your sense of purpose. But we serve a God who promises in His Word, "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want" (Psalm 23:1 WEB). Even in this valley, He is leading you, and we believe He has a plan for your provision and restoration.

The Bible tells us in Philippians 4:19 (WEB), "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." This is not just a hopeful sentiment, it is a divine promise. We rebuke the spirit of fear and lack that may be whispering lies of despair, and we declare that God is opening doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). The job market may feel slow, but our God is never late. He is preparing the right opportunity for you, one that aligns with His purpose for your life.

We also encourage you to examine this season through the lens of faith. James 1:2-4 (WEB) reminds us, "Count it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations, for you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing." This trial is not without purpose. God may be refining your skills, deepening your trust in Him, or redirecting your path toward something greater than you imagined. We pray that you would sense His peace and presence even in the waiting.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister who is facing this season of unemployment. Lord, You know the weight of this burden, financially, emotionally, and spiritually. We ask that You would open doors of opportunity that no one can close. Provide a job that not only meets their needs but also aligns with Your calling for their life. Give them wisdom in their search, favor with potential employers, and patience in the waiting. We rebuke the spirit of discouragement and declare that You are their Provider. Remind them daily that their worth is not found in their job title but in their identity as Your beloved child. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them see Your hand at work even in this season. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who sustains us all. Amen.

In the meantime, we encourage you to:
1. Trust in God’s timing, Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB) says, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."
2. Stay diligent in your search, Proverbs 14:23 (WEB) reminds us, "In all hard work there is profit, but the talk of the lips leads only to poverty."
3. Seek community, Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 (WEB) says, "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up."
4. Use this time for growth, Consider learning new skills, volunteering, or even exploring temporary work while you wait for the right opportunity.

We believe that God is working behind the scenes, and we declare that this is not the end of your story, it is a chapter in a greater testimony of His faithfulness. Keep your eyes on Him, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9 WEB). You are not forgotten. You are not abandoned. God is with you, and He will provide.

Freind. Keep praying and come join us in praying. You need a miracle and God invites is to join together in prayer and worship. May God surely bless those who pray and earnestly seek him. Amen. Lord Yeshuas name. Amen.

We're truly sorry to hear about the sudden loss of your job this past ###, especially after ###. That kind of change isn't just a professional setback; it's a deeply personal blow. So much of our identity, security, and daily rhythm can become intertwined with our work, and having that stripped away so abruptly naturally leaves you reeling and in need of a miracle.

As you keep looking and facing a slow season, one of the hardest battles can be in the mind. The real loss is the job itself and the income, but it often quickly spirals into feared losses, the worry of never finding something stable again or the anxious thoughts about the future. When those fears start to feel overwhelming, it can help to gently separate what you actually know from what your anxious mind is projecting. The concrete reality is this is a difficult job market right now; it is not a verdict on your worth or your future.

While you wait for that divine breakthrough, consider a couple of tangible actions to help you regain a sense of footing. When the search feels slow, networking can sometimes move a mountain that an application cannot. Think of it less as asking for a job and more as reconnecting with former colleagues and friends in your field simply to learn what is happening in your industry right now. Genuine curiosity often opens unexpected doors. Also, give yourself permission to structure just one small, manageable goal each day, not a full day of job hunting that leads to burnout, but one key connection or application, and then step away to care for your soul and body. You’re navigating a loss, not just checking items off a to-do list.

Lord Jesus, you see this heavy season of waiting and uncertainty. You know the shock and the weight of loss our friend is carrying. We ask you to quiet the fears that try to choke out hope, and to provide for every tangible need right now. Send the right open door at the right time, and in the meantime, steady their heart with the deep confidence that they are seen, known, and held securely by you. We ask this in your name, Jesus. Amen.

May Jesus guide you straight to the job He has waiting for you. Keep praying for guidance. Gods timing is very different from ours. So we must dig down and find patience. Just know He is always faithful. God bless you in Jesus Name amen.

How suddenly the spoiling of all earthly comfort can come upon a man, as an earthquake that overthrows a city in a moment. A position held for fifteen years swept away in a day, such is the common lot of mortals, visited alike upon the best and the worst. Did it not happen to Job, who on a certain morning was amazed by messenger after messenger, telling him that all his estate had vanished? Consider him who was utterly spoiled, yet in all this sinned not, nor charged God foolishly. The Tempter could extract no rebellious speech from him, for the Lord upheld His servant and defeated the enemy.

If you are as poor as Job, be as patient as Job, and you will find hope ever shining like a star which never sets. Do not imagine that the Lord singles you out for cruelty; rather, He is granting you a vivid apprehension of Himself. Job had heard of God with the hearing of the ear, but now his eye sees Him. This trial may be the very means by which you cry, "I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes," and so come forth with twice as much as before, for the Lord is the Great Miracle Worker who brings fresh glory out of spoiling.

The miracle you need is not a mere restoration of income. What must be performed is a work within your own spirit, that you might not sin by unbelieving speeches, but instead know the power of Christ to rescue men from the bondage of despair. This miracle lies wholly in Jesus Himself, not in your own efforts at finding work. Do you consider the miracle of the loaves? He is grand in emergencies. When the multitude was famished in the wilderness, He did but speak, and there was provision. That same Lord who commanded the man bent double to be made straight can, all of a sudden, lift you up. Do not think that your case is beyond His hand.

Therefore, let not your bow lose its force as you wait. Though the bow is slack for a season, it shall yet be renewed in your hand, and you shall be anointed with fresh oil. Forget not the love that bled upon the tree for unworthy men, if He gave Himself for you, will He not with Himself freely give you all things? See to it that your sorrow drives you to the Cross, where the greatest of all miracles is beheld, and there find grace to help in this time of need.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

John did no miracle, yet he fixed the attention of many cities. Elias became admirable from his zeal towards God and his voluntary poverty. Job wrought no miracle, but his endurance shone brighter than any adamant. Miracles, except we be sober, may even do harm. Care of practice and love of virtue does not generate a desire for wonders.

The loss of your livelihood seems grievous, yet it depends on you to make it either a loss or a gain. If you give thanks to God and do not wail bitterly, uttering the words of Job, “The Lord gave and the Lord hath taken away,” it will become for you a great gain. Long-suffering is the root of all self-denial. A long-suffering soul, whatever unexpected thing falls upon it, this speedily vanishes, but the soul it disturbs not. There is nothing so impenetrable as long-suffering.

Consider Paul, who was put in bonds; yet his disciples waxed the more confident, for they saw that the Preaching was not hindered. Can you bind the heart that trusts in God? Be not hasty in spirit, but let kindness and endurance guide you. For love does not behave itself unseemly. The Lord sees your need; commit your way to Him, and He will sustain you.
