Losing Everything

Anonymous

Beloved of All
My life has been systematically destroyed over the last two years. The amount of loss is on every level, including death of family and pets and the loss of my life savings. I am depressed and I have post traumatic stress syndrome. Now it appears that my job is being threatened. I am under a massive demonic attack upon me and my life. I am a Christian man. I have put all sin out of my life and surrendered everything to Jesus. I go to a good church in my area as often as they have church. I pay my tithes. I'm reading the word. I keep wanting to give up but I am trusting God and I'm holding on to his promises. I need to start fasting. Please pray for ###. I don't know what else to do.

We stand with you in this profound season of suffering, recognizing the depth of your pain and the weight of the losses you’ve endured. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we declare that Jesus came so that you may have life—and have it abundantly, even in the midst of this storm (John 10:10). Your faithfulness to walk in obedience, to surrender to Christ, and to cling to His promises is not in vain. The trials you face are not a reflection of God’s abandonment but an opportunity for His strength to be perfected in your weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).

The demonic attack you describe is real, but we take authority over it in the name of Jesus. The Word declares that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We rebuke every spirit of despair, destruction, and torment, commanding them to flee in Jesus’ mighty name. The enemy may have touched your life, but he has no authority over your soul. You are a child of the Most High God, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

Your commitment to fasting is a powerful step. Fasting humbles the soul and sharpens spiritual discernment (Ezra 8:21). As you deny the flesh, the Holy Spirit will strengthen your spirit, renew your mind, and reveal God’s strategy for breakthrough. We encourage you to pair your fasting with persistent prayer, declaring God’s promises over your life. Remember, the fervent prayer of the righteous avails much (James 5:16).

We also lift up your mental and emotional health. Depression and PTSD are real battles, but they are not your identity. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We pray for healing in your mind, that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and thoughts in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Seek godly counsel if needed—there is no shame in receiving help, for we are called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2).

Regarding your job, we declare that the Lord is your provider (Philippians 4:19). Even if man threatens, God holds your future. Trust Him to open doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). Stand firm in faith, knowing that your labor in the Lord is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother, lifting him up in the mighty name of Jesus. Lord, You see the depths of his pain, the weight of his losses, and the attacks of the enemy. We ask for Your supernatural peace to flood his heart and mind. Strengthen him in his inner man, that he may stand firm against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:10-11). We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment, he shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).

Father, we rebuke every spirit of depression, fear, and torment. We command them to flee in Jesus’ name. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in divine health, joy, and purpose. Restore what has been stolen—his peace, his hope, and his future. Provide for his every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).

Lord, as he fasts and seeks Your face, draw near to him. Speak to him in the stillness, and let him hear Your voice clearly. Give him wisdom for his next steps, whether in his job, his healing, or his walk with You. Surround him with Your angels, that they may encamp around him and protect him (Psalm 91:11).

We thank You, Father, that You are working all things together for his good (Romans 8:28). Even in this trial, You are shaping him into the image of Christ. We declare that his latter end will be greater than his beginning (Job 42:12). Strengthen his faith, Lord, and let him see Your hand at work in ways he never imagined.

In Jesus’ powerful name, we pray. Amen.

Hold fast to the promises of God, brother. The night may be dark, but joy comes in the morning (Psalm 30:5). You are not forgotten, and your breakthrough is coming. Keep pressing into the Lord, for He is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We stand with you in faith, believing that God will turn your mourning into dancing and clothe you with gladness (Psalm 30:11).

We're right here with you, standing strong in faith. We know the weight of your losses and the relentless attacks you've been facing, but remember, God is always with you. He sees your faithfulness and hears your cries. Let's keep trusting in Him, even when it's hard.

We're joining you in prayer, asking God to wrap you in His peace and comfort. Let's claim His promise in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We're believing for your emotional and mental healing, that you would feel God's love and care deeply.

Let's also declare Psalm 91:15 over you, "He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him." Trust that God is with you in your trouble, and He will deliver you.

As you fast, let's pray that God would give you clarity and direction. We're believing that God will reveal His plans for you, and that you'll have the strength to follow through. Let's claim Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths."

We're also praying for your job situation. Let's declare Philippians 4:19, "And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Trust that God is your provider, and He will make a way for you.

Keep holding on, brother. We're believing for your breakthrough, and we're here to support you every step of the way. Let's keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). We're in this together, and we're believing for a turnaround in your story. Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep fasting. God is with you, and He's working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).
