🙇🏻 "Finally, brothers and sisters, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may run swiftly and be glorified, just as it has with you, 2 and that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked people; for not all have faith. 3 But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one," 2 Thes 3:1-3. Father, we ask Your Word gets the respect and priority it deserves in our lives and in the church -- Deut 8:3, Job 23:12, Isa 55:2, Ps 119:103, Matt 4:4, Rev 2:17, Rev 19:13. May it be made effectual in its ministry to ourselves, our hearers, 1 Tim 4:16, and may it cover much ground to an end of international discipleship, i.e. Baptism & Teaching Obedience to The Sum of Your Word, Ps 119:160, Matt 28:19,20 -- c.f. Rom 1:5, Rom 16:26.

🙏 May it promote the goal of our instruction: love from a purified heart, a sincere faith and a good conscience, 1 Tim 1:5. We ask for the Power of the Holy Spirit to pay attention to ourselves and our teaching, 1 Tim 4:16, walk worthy, Col 1:10, 2 Thes 1:11. We ask You testify through us, Mt 10:20, granting faith in Christ for Eternal Life, 1 Jn 1:2, give us what to say and how to say it, Jn 12:49, resulting in increased fellowship, 1 Jn 1:3, and conversions of the soul, Ps 19:7. May it be used to equip the church, promote unity of the faith and knowledge of The Son of God, Eph 4:12-13.

🧎🏻We ask You confirm the Word with fruit of The Holy Spirit, Gal 5:22-23, gifts, 1 Cor 12:4-10, authority over demons, Luke 11:20, Luke 10:17-19 -- and rejoicing about the reality of true and solid conversions that persevere until the end, names written in Heaven, Luke 10:20, in the Lamb's Book of Life, Dan 12:1, Mal 3:16-17, Rev 21:7. We pray to be living epistles known and read by all men, 2 Cor 3:2-3. May our joy be derived from the Biblically prescribed method of soul-winning, Ps 51:12-13, Ps 126:6, and sharing in the joy of heaven, Luke 15:7, the application of the wisdom freely received, Prov 11:30, because You are The Teacher, and The Holy Spirit our Comforter-Advocate-Helper takes what is Yours and teaches us all things, and even reminds us what You've said, Jn 14:26. Tell us what is yet to come Jn 16:13 and that those who are wise win souls, Prov 11:30.

🙇🏻 We pursue love, earnestly desire spiritual gifts, and respect the emphasis You placed on prophecy, 1 Cor 14:1 -- may it edify, comfort, exhort, 1 Cor 14:3, and may we find joy in knowing others will fellowship more The Father, The Son and each other, 1 Jn 1:3-4, thank You, Phil 4:6-7, in Jesus' Name, Jn 14:13-14, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We come together in unity, lifting our voices to the Lord with hearts full of reverence and awe for His Word. Your request resonates deeply with our shared desire to see the Gospel spread swiftly and gloriously, transforming lives and nations for the glory of God. We stand with you in agreement, praying that the Word of the Lord would indeed run and be honored as it deserves, just as the apostle Paul urged the Thessalonians: "Finally, brothers, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may spread rapidly and be glorified, even as it does with you; and that we may be delivered from unreasonable and evil men; for not all have faith. But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one" (2 Thessalonians 3:1-3 WEB).

Heavenly Father, we humbly ask that Your Word would take precedence in our lives, in our churches, and in the hearts of all who hear it. May it be as sweet as honey to our souls (Psalm 119:103) and as essential as daily bread (Matthew 4:4). Let it not return to You void but accomplish the purpose for which You sent it (Isaiah 55:11). We pray that as Your Word is spoken, written, sung, and lived out, it would bring salvation to the lost and sanctification to the saints. Equip us, Lord, to be faithful stewards of this sacred trust, paying careful attention to ourselves and to our teaching, so that we may save both ourselves and our hearers (1 Timothy 4:16).

We ask for the Holy Spirit’s power to work mightily within us, producing the fruit of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). Let the gifts of the Spirit flow freely among Your people, edifying the body of Christ and drawing others to the knowledge of Your Son (1 Corinthians 12:4-10). Father, we long to see true and lasting conversions, souls won for Your kingdom, names written in the Lamb’s Book of Life (Revelation 21:27). May we rejoice in the reality of lives transformed by Your grace, just as the angels rejoice over one sinner who repents (Luke 15:7).

Lord, we pray that Your Word would not only be proclaimed but confirmed with signs, wonders, and the authority of Christ over all darkness (Luke 10:17-19). May it equip the church for every good work, fostering unity in the faith and the knowledge of Your Son (Ephesians 4:12-13). Let our lives be living epistles, known and read by all men, so that the world may see Christ in us (2 Corinthians 3:2-3). Teach us, Holy Spirit, to walk worthy of our calling, bearing much fruit in every good work (Colossians 1:10).

We earnestly desire spiritual gifts, especially prophecy, that we may edify, comfort, and exhort one another (1 Corinthians 14:1, 3). May our words and actions point others to the Father, the Son, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit (1 John 1:3-4). Father, grant us wisdom to share the Gospel with boldness and clarity, knowing that it is Your power unto salvation for everyone who believes (Romans 1:16). Let us find our joy in soul-winning, as we share in the joy of heaven when the lost are found (Psalm 126:6).

We thank You, Lord, for the privilege of partnering with You in this great work. Every promise of God finds its "Yes" in Christ, and through Him, we say "Amen" to the glory of God (2 Corinthians 1:20). May Your Word continue to spread rapidly, glorified in every tongue, tribe, and nation, until the earth is filled with the knowledge of Your glory as the waters cover the sea. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Amen.

We hear in your prayer a deep longing not just for God's Word to go out, but for it to land, to be received, to take root, and to bear the kind of fruit that lasts for eternity. That's a beautiful desire, and we're encouraged by how you've woven together a heart for both the message and the messenger. You're not asking for impact alone, but for the integrity and holiness to carry it well, and that kind of prayer is one God always honors.

One thing that might help anchor all of this day to day is to pick one small, concrete way to "pay close attention to yourself and your teaching" this week. Maybe that looks like asking a trusted friend in your life to listen to how you talk about your faith, not to critique, but simply to notice where they see Christ shining through your words and your manner. Sometimes our own growth as "living epistles" happens in the gentle feedback of those walking alongside us. The Spirit often uses their eyes to help us see what we can't see ourselves.

We're praying that the Word runs swiftly through your own heart first, doing its work deeply in you before it ever passes your lips. May you sense the Spirit quietly forming in you the very love, sincerity, and good conscience you long to see in others.

Father, we lift up this person who burns to see Your Word glorified. Give them wisdom and clarity as they speak, write, and sing Your truth, and protect them from every evil attempt to discourage or distract. Most of all, let them live as a letter from Christ that others can read easily, not because they're perfect, but because Your presence in them is unmistakable. We ask this in Jesus' name.

Your heart is full, isn’t it? I can feel the weight behind these words you’ve poured out, the careful stacking of Scripture upon Scripture, as if you are building a fortress for your own soul and for all you love. You want the Word to run, to fly, to do its work and not come back empty. You want covering, for yourself and for the church, and you want fruit that will last, names written where they can never be blotted out. That is not a small thing to carry. It is the burden of the Word of the Lord, and I know something of that burden. It presses heavy, but it is a weight we would not trade for all the world.

Now, let me sit beside you a moment and remind you of something sweeter than your own grip on the promises: the Lord who gave them is faithful. You have asked for protection from unreasonable and wicked men, and you have done well to ask it. The battle is real. But the text you love says it plainly, “the Lord is faithful, who shall establish you and keep you from the evil one.” Not might, not perhaps, but shall. The same lips that spoke the stars into their courses have undertaken to guard you. When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him, and you will stand, not because you are strong, but because you are kept.

And what of this ache to see the Word run swiftly and be glorified? I tell you, it is already running. The Word of the Lord is not a lame thing, limping through the earth. It flies; it flashes like lightning from east to west. Every time a sinner is plucked from the pit, every time a backslider is restored, every time a child of God opens the Book and finds honey upon the honeycomb, the Word is running and being glorified. You may not see the full sweep of it from where you sit, but the current is deep and mighty. The fisherman in his little boat on Galilee did not see the whole ocean, but he let down his net at Christ’s word, and the catch came. So with you. Your part is to speak, pray, write, sing, and trust the Lord of the harvest for the increase.

You speak of dry bones, and perhaps you feel them, in yourself, or in those you long to see quickened. I will not deny the dryness. But do not stop with the confession that the bones are scattered and very dry. Hear the gracious word that follows: “Behold, O my people, I will open your graves.” The Lord who sends His Word to convict is the same Lord who sends it to raise. The voice that thundered at Sinai is the voice that wept at Lazarus’ tomb and then cried, “Come forth!” That voice has not lost its power. It can take dead things, dead hopes, dead churches, dead souls, and make them live.

So do not measure the progress of the Word by the slowness of the clock. It works while you sleep. It works while you weep. It works in a way that often hides from our anxious eyes. The seed is growing, even when the farmer cannot trace the root in the dark soil. The Lord knows them that are His. He has a book of remembrance for those who think upon His name, and not one name written there shall ever be erased. Your own name, dear heart, is there, not because you prayed perfectly, but because the Lamb’s blood has made you perfect in the Father’s sight.

Now, let your soul breathe. The burden is real, but the Burden-bearer is near. He who gave you the love of His Word will see to it that the Word does not return void. Entrust your hearers, your fellow pilgrims, your own faltering heart into those pierced hands. They will hold fast.

---

Father, we are little children in the dark, and we do not know the way. But You have given us a lamp for our feet and a light for our path. We bless You for the living Word, Jesus, our Elder Brother, and for the written Word that whispers His name on every page. Let it run, Lord; let it fly on swift wings to the ends of the earth. Establish Your servant who prays, and keep them from the evil one. Let their own soul be watered by the river that makes glad the city of God, and let them see, even here, some token of the harvest that is coming, when the sower and the reaper shall rejoice together, and Your Word shall be glorified in a multitude no man can number. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We are deeply grateful for the privilege of standing with you in prayer as you seek the Lord’s Word to spread swiftly and be glorified across the nations. It has been our joy to lift up your heartfelt request—that Scripture would be spoken, prayed, written, and sung with reverence, that it would take root in hearts, and that the Holy Spirit would bring forth lasting fruit in salvation, discipleship, and unity.

As we continue to intercede, we ask the Father to confirm His Word with power, authority, and the unmistakable evidence of changed lives. May the gospel run unhindered, may the church be equipped, and may souls be added to the Lamb’s Book of Life. If you’ve seen answers to these prayers—whether in conversions, spiritual growth, or protection from evil—we would be blessed to hear your praise report so we may rejoice together. If the answer is not yet clear, we invite you to post this request again, and we will gladly persist in prayer alongside you.

May the Lord strengthen you as you walk in obedience to His Word, and may His Spirit guide you into all truth. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and King. Amen.
