We come before the Lord with hearts full of gratitude for the power and authority of His Word, which is living, active, and sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). Father, we lift up this prayer for the spread of Your truth, knowing that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to You (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We rejoice that Your Word does not return void but accomplishes what You desire and achieves the purpose for which You sent it (Isaiah 55:11).
Lord, we pray that Your Word would run swiftly and be glorified in our lives and in the church, just as it was among the Thessalonians (2 Thessalonians 3:1-3). May it be spoken, prayed, written, and sung with reverence and joy, as we make melody in our hearts to You (Ephesians 5:19). We ask that You would establish us and guard us from the evil one, for You are faithful, and Your protection is sure. Father, we long to see Your Word take deep root in our hearts, nourishing us as our daily bread (Deuteronomy 8:3, Matthew 4:4), and may it be sweeter to us than honey (Psalm 119:103).
We pray that Your Word would be made effectual in its ministry, not only to ourselves but also to those who hear it (1 Timothy 4:16). May it cover much ground, leading to international discipleship, baptizing in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and teaching obedience to all that You have commanded (Matthew 28:19-20). Lord, we ask that Your Word would produce love from a pure heart, a good conscience, and a sincere faith in those who receive it (1 Timothy 1:5). May it equip the saints for the work of ministry and build up the body of Christ until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of Your Son (Ephesians 4:12-13).
Holy Spirit, we ask for Your power to pay close attention to our lives and our teaching, so that we may save both ourselves and our hearers (1 Timothy 4:16). May we walk worthy of the calling we have received (Colossians 1:10, 2 Thessalonians 1:11), and may You testify through us, granting faith in Christ for eternal life (1 John 1:2). Father, give us the words to say and the wisdom to speak them (John 12:49), that Your Word may bear fruit in conversions of the soul (Psalm 19:7) and increased fellowship among believers (1 John 1:3).
We pray that You would confirm Your Word with the fruit of the Spirit, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). May Your gifts be manifested among us (1 Corinthians 12:4-11), and may we exercise authority over the enemy as we proclaim Your truth (Luke 10:17-19, Luke 11:20). Lord, we rejoice in the reality of true and solid conversions, where names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life (Revelation 21:27, Daniel 12:1, Malachi 3:16-17). May we be living epistles, known and read by all men (2 Corinthians 3:2-3), reflecting the transforming power of Your Word.
Father, may our joy be found in the Biblically prescribed method of soul-winning (Psalm 51:12-13, Psalm 126:6), sharing in the joy of heaven when one sinner repents (Luke 15:7). We thank You that the wisdom that leads to salvation is freely given (Proverbs 11:30), and that You, as our Teacher, guide us into all truth through the Holy Spirit (John 14:26, John 16:13). May those who are wise win souls for Your kingdom, and may we find our greatest delight in seeing Your Word accomplish its purpose in the lives of others.
We pursue love and earnestly desire spiritual gifts, especially prophecy, that we may edify, comfort, and exhort one another (1 Corinthians 14:1, 3). May our lives and our words bring others into deeper fellowship with You, the Father, and Your Son, Jesus Christ (1 John 1:3-4). We thank You for every promise that is fulfilled in Christ (2 Corinthians 1:20), and we ask all these things in His mighty name, knowing that whatever we ask in His name, You will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son (John 14:13-14).

"Finally, brothers and sisters, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may run swiftly and be glorified, just as it has with you, 2 and that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked people; for not all have faith. 3 But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one," 2 Thes 3:1-3. Father, we ask Your Word gets the respect and priority it deserves in our lives and in the church -- Deut 8:3, Job 23:12, Isa 55:2, Ps 119:103, Matt 4:4, Rev 2:17, Rev 19:13. May it be made effectual in its ministry to ourselves, our hearers, 1 Tim 4:16, and may it cover much ground to an end of international discipleship, i.e. Baptism & Teaching Obedience to The Sum of Your Word, Matt 28:19,20 -- c.f. Rom 1:5, Rom 16:26.
May it promote the goal of our instruction: love from a purified heart, a sincere faith and a good conscience, 1 Tim 1:5. We ask for the Power of the Holy Spirit to pay attention to ourselves and our teaching, 1 Tim 4:16, walk worthy, Col 1:10, 2 Thes 1:11. We ask You testify through us, Mt 10:20, granting faith in Christ for Eternal Life, 1 Jn 1:2, give us what to say and how to say it, Jn 12:49, resulting in increased fellowship, 1 Jn 1:3, and conversions of the soul, Ps 19:7. May it be used to equip the church, promote unity of the faith and knowledge of The Son of God, Eph 4:12-13.
We ask You confirm the Word with fruit of The Holy Spirit, Gal 5:22-23, gifts, 1 Cor 12:4-5,6-7,8-9,10, authority over demons, Luke 11:20, Luke 10:17-19 -- and rejoicing about the reality of true and solid conversions that persevere until the end, names written in Heaven, Luke 10:20, in the Lamb's Book of Life, Dan 12:1, Mal 3:16-17, Rev 21:7. We pray for living epistles known and read by all men, 2 Cor 3:2-3. May our joy be derived from the Biblically prescribed method of soul-winning, Ps 51:12-13, Ps 126:6, and sharing in the joy of heaven, Luke 15:7, the application of the wisdom freely received, Prov 11:30, because You are The Teacher, and The Holy Spirit our Comforter-Advocate-Helper takes what is Yours and teaches us all things, and even reminds us what You've said, Jn 14:26. Tell us what is yet to come Jn 16:13 and that those who are wise win souls, Prov 11:30.
