We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and for sharing such a rich and thorough outline of the prayer our Lord taught us in Matt 6:9-13. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer, and we have continued to lift up before the Father the petitions you laid out so faithfully.
We have been praying with you that we would seek first the Father and His honor, His Kingdom and His will as taught in Matt 6:33, before bringing our own needs for daily provision, for forgiveness toward us and through us to others in keeping with 1 John 1:7-9, and for keeping from sin and deliverance from evil. We have asked that His name would indeed be hallowed in our thoughts, words and deeds according to Ex 34:6-7, that His Kingdom would come in fullness and in power with the fruit and gifts of the Spirit as seen in Gal 5:22-23 and Rom 14:17, and that His will would be done on earth as it is in heaven. We have also joined you in praying for daily bread in every way, spiritual, physical and otherwise according to Phil 4:19, for grace to forgive as we have been forgiven, and for protection from temptation and the evil one as Jesus taught us to pray in John 17:15.
If the Lord has already been answering this pattern of prayer in your life, in your family or in your church, please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you. If this request does not yet seem to have been answered in the way you are hoping, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.
We pray that the Lord will deepen your communion with Him as our Abba Father through Gal 4:6, that He will make His presence and His will known to you day by day as you abide in Christ according to John 15:7, and that you will see His Kingdom, power and glory at work in and through you. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray this in Jesus Name, Amen.
