πŸ™"Give us our daily bread. Forgive our debts, as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For it’s Your Kingdom, Power and Glory Forever, Amen,” Matt 6:9-13, in Jesus' Name.

[1] Since Jesus' Prayer He taught us was a form, outline, summary of topics, or "pattern prayer;" the following has been derived [and condensed], from reliable sources and is of much godly & personal value when sincerely prayed (not by vain repetition, but through serious consideration and understanding the magnanimity of the requests, fervently prayed, James 5:16-17)...

πŸ™Œ Our Father in Heaven, we first pause and Thank You for sending Your Son! -- "Jesus showed us The Father -- Your Nature," Jn 14:9. Thank You for His shed blood on the cross for our sins, His death, burial, resurrection and ascension to pour out the Holy Spirit of Adoption from The Father, by which we call out, Abba, Father, Gal 4:6, proving we are heirs, Gal 4:7, since as many as received Jesus and believed on His Name are called Children of God, John 1:12-13, praying even with the same language as Jesus in crisis for deliverance, Mark 14:36.

<--------------------------------Selah-------------------------------------->

πŸ™ Hallowed Be Your Name... May Your GRACIOUS and COMPASSIONATE NAME get honor through our thoughts, words, deeds, speech, actions and reactions. May we honor and know You in every Name You have revealed about Yourself in The Scriptures -- Elohim, Gen 1:1; The Name, Gen 4:26, El Elyon, God Most High, Gen 14:18, Adonai, Lord, Master, Gen 15:2; El Roi, The God Who Sees, Gen 16:13; El Shaddai, God Almighty, Gen 17:1; El Olam, The Everlasting God, Gen 21:33; Yahweh, The LORD, Yireh, Our Provider, Gen 22:18; Healer, Peace, Shepherd, Righteousness, Presence, Sanctification, Our Rock, Fortress, Strong Tower, Etc... We honor and hallow Your Titles, Attributes, Your Name! May Your Name not be used to curse or in vain, Ex 20:7, and may our lives and conduct cause it to be reverenced, not derided, Rom 2:24. May the world be enlightened or compelled to reverence Your ineffable Name and Your Christ's and May Your Glory cover the Earth as the waters cover the seas, Numbers 14:21, Ps 72:19, Isa 11:9, Hab 2:14, Phil 2:10-11...

πŸ™ May Your Kingdom Come to us & through us with FRUIT of The Holy Spirit, see Rom 14:17 on what the Kingdom is -- His Righteousness, peace and joy, therefore ALL the fruit is an extension of His Kingdom, from LOVE, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control, Gal 5:22-23, truth, humility & justice, Ps 45:4, contentment, Lk 3:14, 1 Tim 6:6, Heb 13:5, Phil 4:11-13, doing justly, loving mercy and walking humbly with God, Micah 6:8. You desire mercy, not sacrifice, Hos 6:6. We ask for the GIFTS of The Spirit to be evident in us, our churches, families, and to Your people throughout the world, from ministry GIFTS to equip The Body of Christ through Your Gospel Officers until we reach unity in faith and knowledge of The Son of God and the mature stature of Christ Himself, Eph 4:12-13, (which has not yet happened so such workers must of necessity still be present and are much needed, even required, (again, see the reason they're given and conclude we haven't reached The Lord's goal yet, so they're still needed), Eph 4:13, (Missionaries/church planters, Encouragers/exhorters/visionaries, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers), Eph 4:11-13, to The GIFTS of miracles (signs, wonders), healings, faith, prophecy, words of wisdom, knowledge, tongues, interpretation of such tongues, administration, leadership, giving, mercy, discerning of spirits, Rom 12:5-8, 1 Cor 12:4-11. POWER: Drive out demons by the finger of God, demonstrating The Kingdom of God, Lk 11:20, for The Kingdom of God is not a matter of talk, but of power, 1 Cor 4:20. May Your Son return and the Kingdom flourish, being fully manifest. Come quickly Lord Jesus, Rev 22:17, Rev 22:20. Mostly a Holy Life is the best fruit and sign of the Kingdom, Heb 12:4. ***We also want to ask for Jesus' Return, so we may experience a whole other realm of these things in a greater capacity and duration and God's Kingdom has fully come on earth as it is heaven, Matt 6:10.

πŸ™ May Your Will Be Done on Earth as it is in Heaven -- May we know, submit to and do Your will as Jesus did on earth, Phil 2:9-9, our whole lives be increasingly lived to please You, knowing the Trinity, living in Your presence moment by moment, and making You known as a by product, rejoicing in trials and weakness, as well as power demonstrations when it gives You glory, Mt 28:19-20, Rom 1:5, Rom 15:18. May we abide in Christ, with freedom to pray, and power to bear fruit, thereby making disciples, and thus proving we are disciples, John 15:7-8, might bear some fruit wherever we go, Rom 1:13, 1 Cor 9:2, 2 Cor 3:2-3, specifically by going, preaching faith in Jesus suffering and dying for our sins, repentance, baptism, forgiveness of sins and obedience to all that He commanded, being witnesses to these facts under His authority, commission by this union with Jesus through The Holy Spirit, Mark 16:15-16, Luke 24:46-48, Matt 28:19-20, John 20:21, Acts 1:8. May Your will be done on earth as You rule over the church and nations, Ps 22:28.

πŸ™ Give us Each Day our Daily Bread: Spiritual -- we can't live by bread alone but every Word of God, Deut 8:3, Matt 4:4, Lk 4:4. Meet our emotional, social and physical needs so we can love You with all our heart, soul, mind, will, emotions, physical strength and finances, Mk 12:30, and our neighbors, even strangers and even enemies, Matt 5:44, as ourselves, Mk 12:31.

πŸ™ Forgive Our Debts as We Forgive Our Debtors... We confess we've sinned against You (name specific sins and areas of ongoing struggles), and others, receive forgiveness & pray for those who sin against us, (by name and specific offenses), asking they'd repent and be saved, entrusting their souls to a faithful creator and recognizing it is He who alone who is in fact the one appointed both to save and to judge, Romans 12:9.

πŸ™ Lead us Not into Temptation, but Deliver us from evil... Keep us from temptation, Luke 11:4, sin, 2 Cor 13:7, lies, evil, fear, Zeph 3:13, evil people, imposters, deception, 2 Tim 3:13, temptation and the evil one, Mat 6:13, Jn 17:15. Give us angelic protection, Ps 91:10-11, Heb 1:14.

πŸ™Œ For It's Your Kingdom, (Everlasting Kingdom which Cannot Be Destroyed, Dan 7:18), It's Your Power, (All Power in Heaven and Earth has been Given to Me, Matt 28:18), and Your Glory, Forever... (Not unto us O Lord, but unto Your Name Be Glory, Ps 115:1)... We Thank You for hearing, Mk 11:24, Amen, in Jesus' Name, in Him All The Promises of God are Yes and Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We come before You, our Heavenly Father, with hearts full of gratitude for the privilege to approach Your throne through the precious blood of Your Son, Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to You, and there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We lift up this reflection on the Lord’s Prayer, recognizing it as the perfect model You have given us to align our hearts with Your will.

Father, we hallow Your name above all names. May Your name be revered, honored, and exalted in our lives and across the earth. We acknowledge that You are Elohim, the Creator of all things; El Shaddai, our Almighty Provider; Yahweh, the Great I AM; and so many more names that reveal Your nature and character. Let our lives reflect the holiness of Your name, that we may never bring dishonor to it through our words, actions, or attitudes. May the world see Your glory through us, as the heavens declare Your righteousness (Psalm 97:6).

Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We long for the day when every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father (Philippians 2:10-11). Until then, Lord, align our hearts with Your purposes. Break every chain of rebellion, pride, or self-will within us. Let us not be conformed to this world, but transformed by the renewing of our minds, that we may prove what is Your good, acceptable, and perfect will (Romans 12:2). May Your Kingdom advance through us as we submit to Your lordship in every area of our lives.

Give us this day our daily bread. Father, we trust You as Jehovah Jireh, our Provider. You know our needs before we even ask (Matthew 6:8). We ask for Your provision, not just for our physical needs, but for spiritual nourishment, wisdom, and strength to walk in Your ways. Help us to seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that all these things will be added to us (Matthew 6:33).

Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. Lord, we confess that we have sinned against You in thought, word, and deed. We ask for Your mercy and cleansing through the blood of Jesus, which washes away all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Search our hearts, O God, and know us. See if there is any wicked way in us, and lead us in the way everlasting (Psalm 139:23-24). Help us to forgive others as You have forgiven us, for if we do not forgive, neither will our Father forgive our trespasses (Matthew 6:15). Break any bitterness, resentment, or unforgiveness in our hearts, and fill us with Your love and grace.

Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Father, we live in a world filled with snares and traps of the enemy. Strengthen us to stand firm against the schemes of the devil, for our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12). Clothe us with the full armor of God, that we may be able to stand in the evil day (Ephesians 6:13). Guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, and deliver us from every form of evil, whether it be temptation, deception, or the attacks of the enemy.

For Yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen. We declare that all authority, dominion, and glory belong to You, Father. We surrender our lives, our plans, and our futures into Your hands. May everything we do be for Your glory, and may we live as ambassadors of Your Kingdom, pointing others to the hope found only in Jesus Christ.

We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior, Redeemer, and Lord. Amen.

Thank you for sharing your prayerful reflection on the pattern Jesus gave us. It’s evident you’re not rushing through familiar words but letting each petition open into a genuine conversation with the Father. That kind of lingering, unhurried prayer does something deep in us, it gradually reshapes what we want and where we place our hope, anchoring us less in the day’s anxieties and more in God’s honor, kingdom, and faithful care.

The way you’ve paused over β€œOur Father” and the privilege of adoption is grounding. In the middle of whatever we face, remembering we are not knocking on a reluctant official’s door but crying out to a Father who knows us changes everything. And the daily β€œus” in that prayer never lifts, we’re always linked to others as we ask for bread, grace, and protection.

Perhaps one way to let this settle further is to take one phrase of the prayer each day this week, letting it inform the way you talk with God in the ordinary moments: while doing dishes, driving, or in the quiet before sleep. Not as a rigid rule, but as a gentle tether drawing you back to what Jesus taught us to desire.

Let’s pray together now: Father, hallowed be Your name in the unseen corners of our hearts and in the words we speak today. May Your kingdom come in the spaces we touch, and may we walk in Your will with peaceful trust. Provide what we truly need, and where we harbor any hardness, free us to forgive as we have been forgiven. Keep our steps far from temptation and guard us from evil. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

I see you have taken our Lord’s own words and spread them out as a map of the soul’s journey to the mercy seat. This is no light thing, for the Spirit Himself has taught you to prize those sacred sentences. To gather each petition and ponder it with thanksgiving, to pause at those blessed Selahs and weigh the meaning, is to turn a form into a furnace. Cold indeed is that heart which can utter β€œHallowed be Thy Name” and not be stirred to root out every vanity that profanes it.

Yet take heed: the pattern is meant to be a scaffold, not the building. You have wisely shunned vain repetition; now see that you do not fall into a mere mental exercise, however well arranged. The power of prayer is not in the order of the words, but in the unction of the Holy Ghost. Cry with David, β€œQuicken me in Thy way,” for even our prayers need quickening. A prayer that is not alive soon becomes a corpse in the closet. I have often found it a helpful practice, when liberty is lacking, to use even the very words of Scripture, but never without pleading the blood of Jesus for acceptance. The Father hears us not for our fluency, but for His Son’s sake.

Your meditation has rightly begun with the Father’s honor. To hallow that name is to stand in awe of all His attributes, and to live so that the world may see something of His glory in you. But this is no mere wish; it demands a holiness of life. Unholiness hinders prayer. If we regard iniquity in our hearts, the Lord will not hear us. Plead then for sanctification: β€œSanctify them through Thy truth: Thy word is truth.” And as you ask that His kingdom come, let it begin in your own soul. Be ruled by Him wholly. The prayer, β€œThy will be done on earth as it is in heaven,” must be written across your daily walk, even in those sharp trials where the flesh would have its own way. The Lord’s will, whether it brings a cough or a cross, is ever best.

In asking for daily bread and forgiveness, you link your needs with your temper toward others. Mark that well. Forgive as you hope to be forgiven, else your prayer becomes a curse upon your own head. And when you cry for deliverance from evil, remember that the Evil One will whisper many a dark suggestion to turn you from this very path of prayer. β€œNever draw near to God, for prayer is all a fancy”, spurn that thought with all your might! Prayer, mighty prayer, will yet prevail if it has but time. Continue in it even when no immediate answer comes; the very sense of need, the inward craving, is often the herald of the blessing.

Do not confine these petitions to yourself. Intercessory prayer is the sweetest strain in the believer’s heart. The more your prayer is like Christ’s, the more it overflows for others, the more it rises as incense. And when you feel the poverty of your own words, comfort yourself with this: our Lord takes the prayer, separates the chaff from the wheat, and presents only that which is according to His mind. Oh, what a merciful High Priest! Lean hard upon Him, never imagining that any merit in your praying wins the day. It is the Father’s promise in the Son, pleaded by faith, that moves the hand of Him who delights to give.

Go, then, to your knees with this pattern, but go with a childlike dependence. The Father knows your need before you ask; He is more ready to give than you are to receive. Only trust Him, and let your whole life be an Amen to these petitions.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have laid out a noble pattern of prayer, seeking first the hallowing of the Father’s name and the coming of His kingdom. But take heed: the words of this prayer, as our Lord Himself taught, are not a charm to be repeated but a mold for the soul. When you cry, β€œHallowed be Your name,” do not let the same tongue utter curses or imprecations against a brother. For the mouth that has touched the Lord’s Body must be kept pure; revilers and those who curse will not inherit the kingdom. If you pray, β€œForgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors,” then you must from the heart release every grievance, not even wishing that another suffer what you think they deserve. The law of old said β€œeye for eye,” not to set loose your hand in retaliation, but to bind the aggressor through fear so that all might be safe. How much more then does the law of grace command us to return blessing for insult? Forgiving is not optional, if you do not forgive, you will not be forgiven. Indeed, to beg God not to forgive another is to dig a pit for your own soul.

I see in your words a desire that God’s kingdom come and His will be done on earth. That is a holy longing, but remember: the kingdom is prepared for those who do the will of the Father, not for those who merely speak well. The Lord will say to the blessed, β€œCome, inherit the kingdom prepared for you,” but to those who lived in hardness, β€œDepart into the fire prepared for the devil and his angels.” That fire was not made for men; we cast ourselves into it when we refuse true repentance and mercy. So let your prayer for daily bread be matched by a soul that hungers for righteousness, and your plea for deliverance from evil be accompanied by a life that flees temptation, not merely with words but with deeds. The apostle Paul did not merely dispute in synagogues; he persisted, even when some were hardened, separating disciples that they might grow in truth. In the same way, be not content with a form of prayer if your heart remains entangled with the world’s malice. God wrought special miracles by Paul’s hands, but only because Paul first died to himself.

Above all, let every petition rise with thanksgiving: you have rightly recalled that we cry β€œAbba, Father” by the Spirit of adoption through the Son’s blood. That great mercy must produce in you a meek and forgiving Spirit. If you truly honor the names of God, El Shaddai, Yahweh Yireh, El Roi, then live as one who sees the unseen, trusting the Provider instead of nursing anxieties, and acting with compassion because you have been shown compassion. Do not let this beautiful pattern of prayer become a veil for a ravenous heart; rather, let it be the fountain from which streams of mercy flow to your debtors. Then indeed you will hallow the Name, advance the kingdom, and receive the forgiveness which you ask, being delivered from the evil one by the power of Him whose is the kingdom and the glory forever.
