πŸ™"Give us our daily bread. Forgive our debts, as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For it’s Your Kingdom, Power and Glory Forever, Amen,” Matt 6:9-13, in Jesus' Name.

[1] Since Jesus' Prayer He taught us was a form, outline, summary of topics, or "pattern prayer;" the following has been derived [and condensed], from reliable sources and is of much godly & personal value when sincerely prayed (not by vain repetition, but through serious consideration and understanding the magnanimity of the requests, fervently prayed, James 5:16-17)...

πŸ™Œ Our Father in Heaven, we first pause and Thank You for sending Your Son! -- "Jesus showed us The Father -- Your Nature," Jn 14:9. Thank You for His shed blood on the cross for our sins, His death, burial, resurrection and ascension to pour out the Holy Spirit of Adoption from The Father, by which we call out, Abba, Father, Gal 4:6, proving we are heirs, Gal 4:7, since as many as received Jesus and believed on His Name are called Children of God, John 1:12-13, praying even with the same language as Jesus in crisis for deliverance, Mark 14:36.

<--------------------------------Selah-------------------------------------->

πŸ™ Hallowed Be Your Name... May Your GRACIOUS and COMPASSIONATE NAME get honor through our thoughts, words, deeds, speech, actions and reactions. May we honor and know You in every Name You have revealed about Yourself in The Scriptures -- Elohim, Gen 1:1; The Name, Gen 4:26, El Elyon, God Most High, Gen 14:18, Adonai, Lord, Master, Gen 15:2; El Roi, The God Who Sees, Gen 16:13; El Shaddai, God Almighty, Gen 17:1; El Olam, The Everlasting God, Gen 21:33; Yahweh, The LORD, Yireh, Our Provider, Gen 22:18; Healer, Peace, Shepherd, Righteousness, Presence, Sanctification, Our Rock, Fortress, Strong Tower, Etc... We honor and hallow Your Titles, Attributes, Your Name! May Your Name not be used to curse or in vain, Ex 20:7, and may our lives and conduct cause it to be reverenced, not derided, Rom 2:24. May the world be enlightened or compelled to reverence Your ineffable Name and Your Christ's and May Your Glory cover the Earth as the waters cover the seas, Numbers 14:21, Ps 72:19, Isa 11:9, Hab 2:14, Phil 2:10-11...

πŸ™ May Your Kingdom Come to us & through us with FRUIT of The Holy Spirit, see Rom 14:17 on what the Kingdom is -- His Righteousness, peace and joy, therefore ALL the fruit is an extension of His Kingdom, from LOVE, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control, Gal 5:22-23, truth, humility & justice, Ps 45:4, contentment, Lk 3:14, 1 Tim 6:6, Heb 13:5, Phil 4:11-13, doing justly, loving mercy and walking humbly with God, Micah 6:8. You desire mercy, not sacrifice, Hos 6:6. We ask for the GIFTS of The Spirit to be evident in us, our churches, families, and to Your people throughout the world, from ministry GIFTS to equip The Body of Christ through Your Gospel Officers until we reach unity in faith and knowledge of The Son of God and the mature stature of Christ Himself, Eph 4:12-13, (which has not yet happened so such workers must of necessity still be present and are much needed, even required, (again, see the reason they're given and conclude we haven't reached The Lord's goal yet, so they're still needed), Eph 4:13, (Missionaries/church planters, Encouragers/exhorters/visionaries, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers), Eph 4:11-13, to The GIFTS of miracles (signs, wonders), healings, faith, prophecy, words of wisdom, knowledge, tongues, interpretation of such tongues, administration, leadership, giving, mercy, discerning of spirits, Rom 12:5-8, 1 Cor 12:4-11. POWER: Drive out demons by the finger of God, demonstrating The Kingdom of God, Lk 11:20, for The Kingdom of God is not a matter of talk, but of power, 1 Cor 4:20. May Your Son return and the Kingdom flourish, being fully manifest. Come quickly Lord Jesus, Rev 22:17, Rev 22:20. Mostly a Holy Life is the best fruit and sign of the Kingdom, Heb 12:4. ***We also want to ask for Jesus' Return, so we may experience a whole other realm of these things in a greater capacity and duration and God's Kingdom has fully come on earth as it is heaven, Matt 6:10.

πŸ™ May Your Will Be Done on Earth as it is in Heaven -- May we know, submit to and do Your will as Jesus did on earth, Phil 2:9-9, our whole lives be increasingly lived to please You, knowing the Trinity, living in Your presence moment by moment, and making You known as a by product, rejoicing in trials and weakness, as well as power demonstrations when it gives You glory, Mt 28:19-20, Rom 1:5, Rom 15:18. May we abide in Christ, with freedom to pray, and power to bear fruit, thereby making disciples, and thus proving we are disciples, John 15:7-8, might bear some fruit wherever we go, Rom 1:13, 1 Cor 9:2, 2 Cor 3:2-3, specifically by going, preaching faith in Jesus suffering and dying for our sins, repentance, baptism, forgiveness of sins and obedience to all that He commanded, being witnesses to these facts under His authority, commission by this union with Jesus through The Holy Spirit, Mark 16:15-16, Luke 24:46-48, Matt 28:19-20, John 20:21, Acts 1:8. May Your will be done on earth as You rule over the church and nations, Ps 22:28.

πŸ™ Give us Each Day our Daily Bread: Spiritual -- we can't live by bread alone but every Word of God, Deut 8:3, Matt 4:4, Lk 4:4. Meet our emotional, social and physical needs so we can love You with all our heart, soul, mind, will, emotions, physical strength and finances, Mk 12:30, and our neighbors, even strangers and even enemies, Matt 5:44, as ourselves, Mk 12:31.

πŸ™ Forgive Our Debts as We Forgive Our Debtors... We confess we've sinned against You (name specific sins and areas of ongoing struggles), and others, receive forgiveness & pray for those who sin against us, (by name and specific offenses), asking they'd repent and be saved, entrusting their souls to a faithful creator and recognizing it is He who alone who is in fact the one appointed both to save and to judge, Romans 12:9.

πŸ™ Lead us Not into Temptation, but Deliver us from evil... Keep us from temptation, Luke 11:4, sin, 2 Cor 13:7, lies, evil, fear, Zeph 3:13, evil people, imposters, deception, 2 Tim 3:13, temptation and the evil one, Mat 6:13, Jn 17:15. Give us angelic protection, Ps 91:10-11, Heb 1:14.

πŸ™Œ For It's Your Kingdom, (Everlasting Kingdom which Cannot Be Destroyed, Dan 7:18), It's Your Power, (All Power in Heaven and Earth has been Given to Me, Matt 28:18), and Your Glory, Forever... (Not unto us O Lord, but unto Your Name Be Glory, Ps 115:1)... We Thank You for hearing, Mk 11:24, Amen, in Jesus' Name, in Him All The Promises of God are Yes and Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We come before You, our Heavenly Father, with hearts full of gratitude for the privilege to approach Your throne through the precious blood of Your Son, Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to You, and there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We thank You for the gift of salvation, for sending Jesus to die for our sins, rise again, and ascend to Your right hand, where He intercedes for us (Romans 8:34). We are Your children, heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ, and we cry out to You, "Abba, Father" (Romans 8:15-17).

We hallow Your name, O Lord, and we desire that Your name be reverenced above all others. May our lives reflect Your holiness, grace, and compassion. We honor You as Elohim, our Creator; El Elyon, God Most High; Adonai, our Lord and Master; El Roi, the God Who Sees; El Shaddai, God Almighty; and Yahweh, the great I AM. We praise You for the many facets of Your character revealed in Scripture, our Provider, Healer, Peace, Shepherd, Righteousness, and our Rock. May Your name be exalted in our thoughts, words, and deeds, and may the world come to know and fear You as the one true God.

Your Kingdom come! Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We long for the day when Your glory will cover the earth as the waters cover the sea (Habakkuk 2:14). Until then, we pray that Your will would be accomplished in our lives, our families, our churches, and our nations. May we submit to Your lordship in every area, seeking first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness (Matthew 6:33). We ask that You would raise up godly leaders, strengthen Your Church, and bring revival to the hearts of Your people. Let Your light shine in the darkness, and may many come to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.

We ask for our daily bread, Lord, both physical and spiritual. Provide for our needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Give us the bread of life, Your Word, to nourish our souls (Matthew 4:4). Forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. Search our hearts, O God, and reveal any wicked way in us (Psalm 139:23-24). We confess our sins to You, knowing that if we confess, You are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Help us to extend the same forgiveness to others that You have shown us, for if we do not forgive, neither will our Father forgive our trespasses (Matthew 6:15).

Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. We recognize our weakness and the schemes of the enemy, who seeks to devour us (1 Peter 5:8). Strengthen us with Your might, and equip us with the full armor of God so that we may stand against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:10-18). Guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, and let no sin have dominion over us (Romans 6:14). Deliver us from evil, and keep us from falling into the snares of the world, the flesh, and the devil.

For Yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. We acknowledge that all authority belongs to You, and we submit to Your sovereign rule over our lives. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Lord, for it is in His name that we have boldness to approach Your throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). May Your name be praised now and forevermore. Amen.

We encourage you, dear brother or sister, to continue in this pattern of prayer, not as vain repetition, but as a heartfelt conversation with our Heavenly Father. Let the Lord’s Prayer be a guide, but also let your prayers be filled with personal praise, confession, thanksgiving, and supplication. Remember, the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person avails much (James 5:16). May the Holy Spirit help you in your weakness, for we do not know how to pray as we ought, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings which cannot be uttered (Romans 8:26). Keep seeking the Lord with all your heart, and He will be found by you (Jeremiah 29:13).

Thank you for sharing this heartfelt meditation on the Lord’s Prayer. When we slow down and pray through each phrase with the kind of thoughtfulness you’ve put here, something shifts. It stops being a recitation and becomes a real conversation, one where we’re not just asking for things but aligning our whole selves with the Father’s heart. That’s exactly what Jesus intended when He gave us this pattern.

What stands out is how you’ve woven together the Father’s honor, His kingdom, and our daily dependence. That’s not a checklist; it’s the rhythm of a life lived with God. When we hallow His name, by our words, our actions, even our reactions, we’re letting the reality of who He is shape every part of our day. And when we ask for daily bread and forgiveness, we’re reminding ourselves that we are children, not self-sufficient adults trying to hold everything together. Jesus gave us this prayer because He knew we’d need to return to that posture again and again.

As you continue praying this way, simply trust that the Spirit who prompts your desire to honor God’s name will also empower you to walk in it. The fact that you care so deeply about these requests is evidence of His work in you already.

Father, thank You for the gift of this prayer and for the one who treasures it. Keep drawing their heart into Your presence. Help them to rest in Your provision, forgive as they have been forgiven, and find refuge from every temptation and evil, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

The prayer which our Lord set before us is a mine of heavenly ore, and the soul that digs into it with the spade of meditation shall surely find great riches. You have spread these petitions out before the throne, and that is good; yet let us pause and weigh each request, for true prayer is not the length of words but the depth of desire, and the heart must grasp what the lips utter.

You begin with the hallowing of the Father’s name. This is a weighty business, for God’s own great end in all His works is to make for Himself a glorious and an everlasting name. Before creation, He dwelt in glory without a name, for there were none to know Him; but now, in redemption, that name blazes forth with astonishing splendor. When you trace those covenant titles, El Shaddai, Jehovah Jireh, the Lord our Righteousness, you are handling jewels from an ocean of love. But let it never be a mere recounting. Cry from your soul that in your thoughts, your speech, your daily conduct, that name may be honored. A Christian man so lives that others, seeing his good works, glorify his Father in heaven. If His name be profaned by the world, at least let it be sanctified in you.

Then your prayer turns to the kingdom and the will of God. Is it not a sweet comfort that while we pray, β€œThy kingdom come,” we ourselves may be living under the sovereign rule of Christ, and that His will is not a burden but our delight? All things lie within the fence of omnipotent overruling, and even the trials that your sickbed, for you speak of personal concerns, brings to you are within that sacred zone. β€œThe Lord has chastened me sorely, but he hath not given me over unto death.” The rod is not a sign of rejection but of sonship, and chastisement is far removed from punishment. The Father disciplines those He loves, and in the very stroke there is honey of consolation. Trust His sovereign will, for He abides the same forever, and build your confidence on that firm rock.

When you ask for daily bread, you confess your hourly dependence. Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits! We are like Mephibosheth, sitting at the King’s table, yet how prone we are to murmur. Beside that table, the Master spreads a feast of grace, pardon for our debts, and power to forgive those who have sinned against us. Ah, here is the touchstone of true religion: β€œForgive us, as we forgive.” Not that we merit forgiveness by forgiving, but that a heart which has tasted Divine mercy cannot hold bitterness. There is forgiveness with Him, I, even I, am He that blotteth out thy transgressions. None but God can absolve sin, and He does it freely, casting our sins into the depths of the sea. But O, see that your own heart is washed of all malice, for if you have truly seen the crimson drops of Gethsemane and Calvary, how can you withhold pardon from a fellow-servant?

Lastly, you cry for deliverance from temptation and evil. This is the daily battle, but hear the proclamation: β€œHe has delivered us from the power of darkness, and translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son.” There is deliverance from the pit of sin, even for those so far gone that they seem rotting in the grave of their lusts, like Lazarus. A voice from the excellent Glory breaks every chain: β€œDeliver him from going down to the pit.” If you are tempted, look to the Ransom. Jesus has not only invented a way of deliverance, He has found a ransom Himself, and it is a gift of Divine Love. You shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord. The enemy may suggest your sins are too great, but your God’s name is mighty to save, and He will make an everlasting name by rescuing such a worm as you. In Jesus’ name, all is yours, the kingdom, the power, and the glory, forever.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
