πŸ™"Give us our daily bread. Forgive our debts, as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For it’s Your Kingdom, Power and Glory Forever, Amen,” Matt 6:9-13, in Jesus' Name.

[1] Since Jesus' Prayer He taught us was a form, outline, summary of topics, or "pattern prayer;" the following has been derived [and condensed], from reliable sources and is of much godly & personal value when sincerely prayed (not by vain repetition, but through serious consideration and understanding the magnanimity of the requests, fervently prayed, James 5:16-17)...

πŸ™Œ Our Father in Heaven, we first pause and Thank You for sending Your Son! -- "Jesus showed us The Father -- Your Nature," Jn 14:9. Thank You for His shed blood on the cross for our sins, His death, burial, resurrection and ascension to pour out the Holy Spirit of Adoption from The Father, by which we call out, Abba, Father, Gal 4:6, proving we are heirs, Gal 4:7, since as many as received Jesus and believed on His Name are called Children of God, John 1:12-13, praying even with the same language as Jesus in crisis for deliverance, Mark 14:36.

<--------------------------------Selah-------------------------------------->

πŸ™ Hallowed Be Your Name... May Your GRACIOUS and COMPASSIONATE NAME get honor through our thoughts, words, deeds, speech, actions and reactions. May we honor and know You in every Name You have revealed about Yourself in The Scriptures -- Elohim, Gen 1:1; The Name, Gen 4:26, El Elyon, God Most High, Gen 14:18, Adonai, Lord, Master, Gen 15:2; El Roi, The God Who Sees, Gen 16:13; El Shaddai, God Almighty, Gen 17:1; El Olam, The Everlasting God, Gen 21:33; Yahweh, The LORD, Yireh, Our Provider, Gen 22:18; Healer, Peace, Shepherd, Righteousness, Presence, Sanctification, Our Rock, Fortress, Strong Tower, Etc... We honor and hallow Your Titles, Attributes, Your Name! May Your Name not be used to curse or in vain, Ex 20:7, and may our lives and conduct cause it to be reverenced, not derided, Rom 2:24. May the world be enlightened or compelled to reverence Your ineffable Name and Your Christ's and May Your Glory cover the Earth as the waters cover the seas, Numbers 14:21, Ps 72:19, Isa 11:9, Hab 2:14, Phil 2:10-11...

πŸ™ May Your Kingdom Come to us & through us with FRUIT of The Holy Spirit, see Rom 14:17 on what the Kingdom is -- His Righteousness, peace and joy, therefore ALL the fruit is an extension of His Kingdom, from LOVE, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control, Gal 5:22-23, truth, humility & justice, Ps 45:4, contentment, Lk 3:14, 1 Tim 6:6, Heb 13:5, Phil 4:11-13, doing justly, loving mercy and walking humbly with God, Micah 6:8. You desire mercy, not sacrifice, Hos 6:6. We ask for the GIFTS of The Spirit to be evident in us, our churches, families, and to Your people throughout the world, from ministry GIFTS to equip The Body of Christ through Your Gospel Officers until we reach unity in faith and knowledge of The Son of God and the mature stature of Christ Himself, Eph 4:12-13, (which has not yet happened so such workers must of necessity still be present and are much needed, even required, (again, see the reason they're given and conclude we haven't reached The Lord's goal yet, so they're still needed), Eph 4:13, (Missionaries/church planters, Encouragers/exhorters/visionaries, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers), Eph 4:11-13, to The GIFTS of miracles (signs, wonders), healings, faith, prophecy, words of wisdom, knowledge, tongues, interpretation of such tongues, administration, leadership, giving, mercy, discerning of spirits, Rom 12:5-8, 1 Cor 12:4-11. POWER: Drive out demons by the finger of God, demonstrating The Kingdom of God, Lk 11:20, for The Kingdom of God is not a matter of talk, but of power, 1 Cor 4:20. May Your Son return and the Kingdom flourish, being fully manifest. Come quickly Lord Jesus, Rev 22:17, Rev 22:20. Mostly a Holy Life is the best fruit and sign of the Kingdom, Heb 12:4. ***We also want to ask for Jesus' Return, so we may experience a whole other realm of these things in a greater capacity and duration and God's Kingdom has fully come on earth as it is heaven, Matt 6:10.

πŸ™ May Your Will Be Done on Earth as it is in Heaven -- May we know, submit to and do Your will as Jesus did on earth, Phil 2:9-9, our whole lives be increasingly lived to please You, knowing the Trinity, living in Your presence moment by moment, and making You known as a by product, rejoicing in trials and weakness, as well as power demonstrations when it gives You glory, Mt 28:19-20, Rom 1:5, Rom 15:18. May we abide in Christ, with freedom to pray, and power to bear fruit, thereby making disciples, and thus proving we are disciples, John 15:7-8, might bear some fruit wherever we go, Rom 1:13, 1 Cor 9:2, 2 Cor 3:2-3, specifically by going, preaching faith in Jesus suffering and dying for our sins, repentance, baptism, forgiveness of sins and obedience to all that He commanded, being witnesses to these facts under His authority, commission by this union with Jesus through The Holy Spirit, Mark 16:15-16, Luke 24:46-48, Matt 28:19-20, John 20:21, Acts 1:8. May Your will be done on earth as You rule over the church and nations, Ps 22:28.

πŸ™ Give us Each Day our Daily Bread: Spiritual -- we can't live by bread alone but every Word of God, Deut 8:3, Matt 4:4, Lk 4:4. Meet our emotional, social and physical needs so we can love You with all our heart, soul, mind, will, emotions, physical strength and finances, Mk 12:30, and our neighbors, even strangers and even enemies, Matt 5:44, as ourselves, Mk 12:31.

πŸ™ Forgive Our Debts as We Forgive Our Debtors... We confess we've sinned against You (name specific sins and areas of ongoing struggles), and others, receive forgiveness & pray for those who sin against us, (by name and specific offenses), asking they'd repent and be saved, entrusting their souls to a faithful creator and recognizing it is He who alone who is in fact the one appointed both to save and to judge, Romans 12:9.

πŸ™ Lead us Not into Temptation, but Deliver us from evil... Keep us from temptation, Luke 11:4, sin, 2 Cor 13:7, lies, evil, fear, Zeph 3:13, evil people, imposters, deception, 2 Tim 3:13, temptation and the evil one, Mat 6:13, Jn 17:15. Give us angelic protection, Ps 91:10-11, Heb 1:14.

πŸ™Œ For It's Your Kingdom, (Everlasting Kingdom which Cannot Be Destroyed, Dan 7:18), It's Your Power, (All Power in Heaven and Earth has been Given to Me, Matt 28:18), and Your Glory, Forever... (Not unto us O Lord, but unto Your Name Be Glory, Ps 115:1)... We Thank You for hearing, Mk 11:24, Amen, in Jesus' Name, in Him All The Promises of God are Yes and Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We come before You, our Heavenly Father, with hearts full of gratitude for the privilege to approach Your throne through the precious blood of Your Son, Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to You, and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We thank You for the gift of salvation, for sending Jesus to die for our sins, to be buried, and to rise again on the third day, so that we might have eternal life through faith in Him (1 Corinthians 15:3-4).

As we reflect on the pattern of prayer Jesus taught us, we are reminded of the beauty and depth of communing with You. We begin by exalting Your holy name, for You alone are worthy of all honor, glory, and praise. Your name is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe (Proverbs 18:10). We hallow Your name, Father, and ask that our lives would reflect Your holiness and majesty. May our thoughts, words, and deeds bring glory to Your name, and may we never take Your name in vain (Exodus 20:7). Let the world see Your light shining through us, so that they may glorify You, our Father in heaven (Matthew 5:16).

We long for Your kingdom to come and Your will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. Your kingdom is not of this world, but we pray that Your reign would be established in our hearts and in the hearts of people everywhere (John 18:36). May Your will be our delight, and may we seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all we need will be provided (Matthew 6:33). We surrender our plans, our desires, and our very lives to You, asking that Your perfect will be accomplished in and through us.

Father, we come to You with our daily needs, trusting in Your provision. You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and we ask that You would give us this day our daily bread (Genesis 22:14). Provide for our physical needs, but also nourish our souls with Your Word and Your Spirit. Help us to trust in You and not in our own understanding or the things of this world (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We confess our sins before You, knowing that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We ask for Your forgiveness, and we also choose to forgive those who have sinned against us. Help us to let go of bitterness, anger, and resentment, and to extend the same grace and mercy that You have shown us (Ephesians 4:31-32). Teach us to love others as You have loved us, and to pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44).

Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Father, we know that the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour (1 Peter 5:8). Strengthen us in our inner being, that we may stand firm against his schemes (Ephesians 6:10-11). Clothe us with the full armor of God, so that we may be able to resist the evil one and stand firm in the day of battle (Ephesians 6:13). Guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, and help us to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5).

For Yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. We acknowledge that all authority, power, and dominion belong to You, and we submit ourselves to Your lordship. May Your name be praised now and forevermore, and may Your glory fill the earth as the waters cover the sea (Habakkuk 2:14). We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Lord, Amen.

As we seek to live out this pattern of prayer, let us remember that prayer is not merely a religious duty, but a vital relationship with our Heavenly Father. It is an opportunity to draw near to Him, to align our hearts with His, and to experience His love, grace, and power in our lives. Let us not grow weary in prayer, but let us persevere, knowing that the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person avails much (James 5:16).

May we also remember that our prayers should be rooted in Scripture and aligned with God's will. As we pray for Your kingdom to come, let us also pray for the spread of the gospel and the salvation of souls. May we be bold witnesses for Christ, sharing the good news of salvation with those who are lost and in need of a Savior (Matthew 28:19-20).

In our daily lives, let us strive to live in a manner worthy of the calling we have received, with all humility, gentleness, and patience, bearing with one another in love (Ephesians 4:1-2). May our lives be a reflection of Your grace and truth, so that others may see Christ in us and be drawn to Him.

Father, we ask that You would continue to teach us to pray, and to deepen our relationship with You. May we grow in our love for You and for others, and may our prayers be a sweet fragrance before Your throne. We trust in Your goodness, Your faithfulness, and Your unfailing love, and we commit ourselves to seeking You with all our hearts. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We’re so blessed by the way you’ve lingered over the Lord’s Prayer and made each petition your own. That kind of unhurried, thoughtful praying shapes our hearts more than we realize. When we stop to hallow the Father’s name, really considering who He is and how we want Him honored through our lives, our anxieties and distractions often settle into a quieter trust. And how steadying it is to remember that our daily bread, our forgiveness, and our protection from evil are all wrapped up in His kingdom coming and His will being done.

Sometimes the most practical thing we can do with a good pattern is simply keep using it. This prayer you’ve written could become a regular rhythm, not by repetition for its own sake, but by bringing current needs and names into each section. As you pray for His name to be honored, you might picture the places you live and work. As you ask for daily bread, you could name the specific provision you need. As you seek forgiveness, you might remember those you’re still learning to extend it to. That turns the outline into a living conversation.

We also find that when we pull others into this kind of prayer, a spouse, a trusted friend, a small group, we start to see God supply in ways we didn’t expect. The very requests become an anchor of hope.

Let’s pray together for you now:

Father, thank You for giving us Jesus, who taught us how to pray. As our friend takes these words to heart, may Your name be honored in every part of their life. Let Your kingdom break in where they need it most, and strengthen them to walk in Your will. Provide what they need today, forgive them as they forgive others, and keep them from falling. For Yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. In Jesus’ name, amen.

To break open such a prayer is to stand upon the very doorstep of the King’s treasury. You have drawn near with a form most blessed, because it is the form our Lord has given. Let not the outline grow cold as a mere skeleton, but clothe it with the flesh and sinew of a living, panting heart.

Do you see what you have gathered from the Word? You have an arrow, and that arrow is the arrow of the Lord’s deliverance. The bow is drawn back as you honor the Father’s name and seek His kingdom. To pray "Hallowed be Your name" is to despise the low standard that murmurs, "This will do." Shoot on, brother, shoot on! Do not be content with a starved prayer meeting in the inner chamber of your heart. Seek a full quiver of holy importunity. God will save. God will act. But He will be inquired of by the house of Israel to do it for them.

You ask for daily bread, forgiveness, and deliverance. This is well, for it touches the threefold cord of our necessity. But learn from Achsah to be distinct. She did not merely say, "Give me a blessing," but "Give me also springs of water." She knew what she needed. You must know it, too. Ask distinctly for your deliverance from specific evil. Name your sins before Him, that you may hear the whisper of His answer: "There is forgiveness."

Never lose the sweetness of that text: "But there is forgiveness with You, that You may be feared." Mark the limitlessness of it, "There is forgiveness." The Hebrew leaves it boundless. It is a deed of divine grace, sweeping away all debts, for the very prayer you breathe bids you say, "forgive us, as we forgive our debtors." Look to the Lord’s release. If you are holding a brother by the throat, you tear up your own petition. But if you release them, behold how full is your release in Christ! The forgiveness we receive is not a mere wiping of the slate, but a continuous, eternal, fatherly pardon.

You have spoken of crisis and cried for deliverance, even using the language of the garden, "Abba, Father." Hold fast to that. The deliverance wrought by our Lord Jesus is a finished fact, yet we must often cross the Jabbok full of fear and trembling. When prayer seems a waste of words, and the Adversary hisses that God’s ear is shut, this is the very moment to remember the past. Tell it, O let it be known for the comfort of others: "I met my brother Esau, and he fell upon my neck and kissed me." Your Father will not fail you. The arrow must fly. Draw the bowstring back again, with a true aim. Speak to the Lord, spread your griefs not to the pitiless sea, but to the pitiful Savior. Sanctify them through Your truth. Your word is truth.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
