Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing this heartfelt prayer for this little one and her mother and for your home. We join you in bringing them before the Lord and asking for His healing, His favor and His peace to rest upon each mind and upon the property where you live.
The Scripture teaches that true peace comes when our minds are set on the Spirit. The mind focused on the flesh brings unrest and death, but the mind focused on the Spirit brings life and peace. That is why we pray that God would fill both of their thoughts with His presence, His Word and the things that honor Him. What we continually put into our minds will fill our thoughts when we are quiet, so we encourage you to keep filling your home and your minds with prayer, with Scripture and with worship that lifts up Christ, and to turn away from anything that would bring darkness or confusion into your thinking.
The Bible also says that the fear of the Lord is to hate evil and to depart from it, and that when we turn from evil and walk in His wisdom, His ways are pleasant and peaceful. Wisdom is described as a tree of life to those who hold to her, and all her paths are peace. The wisdom that comes from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to listen, full of mercy and good fruit. We pray that God will give this kind of heavenly wisdom to you, to this child and to her mother, so that you may discern what is good, reject what is evil, and walk in the peace that He promises to those who fear Him.
You asked for the Holy Spirit to shield you from all evil and you pleaded the blood of Jesus over all of you. That is a right confidence. There is no other name by which we are saved, and it is through the blood of Jesus shed on the cross that we have forgiveness, healing and protection. He Himself is our peace, and He has broken down the wall that separated us from God. Even when you feel far from Him or when the way ahead looks hopeless and there seems to be no way through, God says, peace, I will heal you. He is able to make a way where there seems to be none and to restore what is broken when we turn our lives over to Him.
So we pray now that the Lord would touch the mind and body of this little girl and her mother and bring healing and soundness. We ask that the peace of God which passes all understanding would guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, and that His presence would fill your property. We ask that He would keep you from the path of evil, deliver you from every evil work, and let His grace, mercy and peace rest upon your household. May He grant you favor, keep you in His truth, and show you that in the end it is well with those who fear Him and walk with Him. In the mighty name of Jesus we ask this, trusting in His blood and His power to heal and to make a way. Amen.
