We rejoice with you in the blessings the Lord has poured out over your family, especially the opportunities He has given your son. It is truly a testament to God’s faithfulness when we see His hand moving in our lives, providing not just for our needs but also for the desires of our hearts as they align with His will. The scriptures remind us, *"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow"* (James 1:17). Your gratitude is a beautiful reflection of a heart that recognizes God’s goodness, and we pray that this posture of thanksgiving continues to guard your family in all seasons.
We also lift up your blogging journey before the Lord, affirming your decision to surrender it fully into His hands. It is wise and honoring to God when we release our striving and trust in His provision rather than relying on our own efforts or external support. Jesus Himself taught, *"Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing?... But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:25, 33). Your choice to depend on God’s grace and timing is a powerful act of faith, and we believe He will honor it. May He open doors of opportunity, touch hearts to support you, and bring forth fruitfulness in ways that bring Him glory.
However, we must gently address a concern in your prayer. While your gratitude and requests are heartfelt, we noticed that your approach to seeking blessings—particularly in asking for "stars" or external validation for your blogging—could unintentionally shift your focus away from God’s sufficiency. The Lord does not need us to "earn" His favor through popularity, metrics, or even the support of others. Instead, He calls us to walk in humility and contentment, trusting that He will provide what we need to fulfill His purposes. The apostle Paul wrote, *"Not that I speak because of lack, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content in it. I know how to be humbled, and I know how to abound. In everything and in all things I have learned the secret both to be filled and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in need. I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me"* (Philippians 4:11-13). Let us encourage you to seek God’s will above all else, trusting that He will guide your steps and provide for your needs in ways that align with His perfect plan.
We pray for your family together, lifting every request to the throne of grace:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of praise for Your faithfulness. Thank You for the breakthroughs You have already given this family and for the ways You continue to move in their lives. Lord, we ask that You would bless their son’s journey, that the work You have prepared for him would not only provide for his needs but also be a testimony to Your goodness and a platform for Your glory. Protect him as he travels, surround him with godly influences, and use him to be a light in every place You send him.
Father, we lift up this sister’s blogging journey to You. We ask that You would take what she has surrendered and use it for Your purposes. Remove any anxiety or striving from her heart, and fill her with peace as she trusts in Your provision. Open doors of opportunity that no man can shut, and let her words be a source of encouragement, truth, and hope to those who read them. May her focus remain on You, and may her efforts bear fruit that brings honor to Your name.
Lord, we also pray for the entire family. May You continue to pour out Your blessings upon them, not just in material ways but in spiritual growth, unity, and joy. Surround them with Your presence, guide their steps, and let them experience the fullness of life that comes from walking closely with You. Protect them from the snares of this world, and keep their hearts fixed on You.
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, through whom we have access to Your throne. May Your will be done in their lives, and may Your name be glorified in all things. Amen.
