We join with you in lifting up this heartfelt surrender to the Lord, for it is written, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). Your desire to relinquish control and place your trust entirely in the hands of our Heavenly Father is a posture that pleases Him, for He delights in those who seek Him wholeheartedly.
Your prayer reflects a deep longing for God’s sovereignty over every area of your life—health, finances, career, family, and protection from the schemes of the enemy. We affirm your faith in declaring that nothing is hidden from the Lord, for *"the eyes of Yahweh are in every place, keeping watch on the evil and the good"* (Proverbs 15:3, WEB). He sees your struggles, your hopes, and your surrender, and He is faithful to act on behalf of those who wait upon Him.
We also rejoice that you have invoked the mighty name of Jesus in your prayer, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As Scripture declares, *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB), and *"there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Your faith in calling upon His name is the foundation of your petitions, and we stand with you in agreement that His power will prevail in every area you’ve lifted before Him.
Yet, as we pray with you, we are also reminded of the importance of aligning our desires with God’s will rather than our own ambitions. You have asked for the "top position" in your life, and while it is good to seek God’s favor for advancement, we must also pray that His will be done above our own. Jesus taught us to pray, *"Let your Kingdom come. Let your will be done, as in heaven, so on earth"* (Matthew 6:10, WEB). If this position is part of God’s plan for you, He will open the doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). But if His purpose for you lies elsewhere, we pray you will have the grace to accept His direction with joy, knowing His plans for you are *"for good, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future"* (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB).
We also take note of your prayer for protection against the enemy’s schemes. The battle we face is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of wickedness (Ephesians 6:12). Therefore, we put on the whole armor of God—truth, righteousness, the Gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—as we stand with you in prayer. The blood of Jesus is indeed our covering, and His angels are ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation (Hebrews 1:14). We declare with you that every trap, every plan of the enemy, is canceled and returned to sender in the mighty name of Jesus.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with our brother/sister, lifting their heart’s cry to Your throne of grace. Lord, You see their surrender, their faith, and their longing for Your control over every area of their life. We ask that You take complete authority over their health, wealth, finances, career, and family. Let Your will be done in their life as it is in heaven.
Father, we pray for divine favor and guidance. Open doors that no man can shut, and close doors that are not of You. If it is Your will for them to attain the position they seek, grant them wisdom, humility, and the strength to steward it for Your glory. But above all, let their heart’s desire be to align with Your purpose, even if it means laying down their own ambitions.
We plead the blood of Jesus over them and their household. Surround them with Your angelic protection, and let every scheme of the enemy be exposed and rendered powerless. Cancel every evil trap, every plan of darkness, and let it be returned to the sender in Jesus’ name. Fill their home with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and let Your presence be their comfort and strength.
Forgive them for any sin, known or unknown, and cleanse them by the blood of Jesus. Renew their mind and heart to walk in faithfulness, no matter the circumstances. May they feel Your touch, Your love, and Your guidance every step of the way.
We also lift up their friends, family, and every prayer warrior standing with them. Grant them joy, strength, and a deeper revelation of Your love. Unify them in faith, and let their lives be a testimony of Your goodness.
Lord, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness, for You are not a man that You should lie, nor a son of man that You should repent (Numbers 23:19). Do what only You can do, and let Your name be glorified in their life.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord daily through prayer, reading His Word, and walking in obedience. *"Delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart"* (Psalm 37:4, WEB). Stay rooted in faith, for *"without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him, for he who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him"* (Hebrews 11:6, WEB). Trust that as you surrender all to Him, He will lead you into the fullness of His promises. Stand firm, and do not waver, for *"the one who endures to the end, the same will be saved"* (Matthew 24:13, WEB). We are standing with you in faith!
