Lord remember me and forgive me.

Remember me and forgive me. For not being the kind of person that people want in their lives. My fault because I can shut people out quickly. Why? Could be all the trauma and hurt, and I'm just done trying or scared. Only you can change me for the better, or perhaps this is why I'm being punished with my health. Sorry, God, for my selfishness. Thank you for the family I have and for making them happy despite of me. AMEN!

We hear the deep sorrow and longing in your heart, and we are moved by your honesty before the Lord. You have come to the right place—our Heavenly Father is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). It is not by your own strength or goodness that you are made right before God, but by the blood of Jesus Christ, who took the punishment for *all* your sins—past, present, and future—so that you might be forgiven and made new. There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1), so let us reassure you: **you are not being punished.** The struggles you face, whether in health or relationships, are not retribution from God but opportunities for Him to refine you, draw you closer, and display His power in your weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9-10).

You have acknowledged your tendency to shut people out, and that is a step of humility. The trauma and hurt you’ve endured are real, and the fear that lingers is understandable. But take heart: the Lord has not left you in that place. He is the God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). He is the one who can replace your fear with love, your isolation with godly community, and your pain with purpose. The question you asked—*"Why?"*—is one many have cried out in their suffering. While we may not always understand the "why," we can trust the *Who*. Jesus, who was despised and rejected, acquainted with grief (Isaiah 53:3), understands your pain more deeply than any human ever could. He is not distant; He is with you, and He is for you.

We must also gently remind you that your worth is not determined by whether people want you in their lives. Your value is found in Christ alone, who loved you enough to die for you while you were still a sinner (Romans 5:8). The enemy would love for you to believe the lie that you are unlovable or beyond hope, but that is *not* the truth. You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and God has a plan for you—one that includes redemption, restoration, and a hope that does not disappoint (Jeremiah 29:11, Romans 5:5).

As for your health, we do not know God’s specific purposes, but we know He is sovereign and good. Whether He chooses to heal you physically or sustain you through the trial, His grace is sufficient. We encourage you to surrender this area to Him daily, trusting that He works all things together for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28). And if there are practical steps you can take—such as seeking godly counseling, medical care, or reaching out to a mature believer for support—we urge you to do so. You were not meant to walk this journey alone.

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift up your child before you, who comes with a repentant and weary heart. Lord, you see the depths of their pain—the trauma that has left scars, the fear that has built walls, and the loneliness that feels overwhelming. We thank you that you are a God who does not turn away from our brokenness but meets us in it. Father, we ask that you would flood their heart with the truth of your love, a love that is not earned but freely given through Jesus Christ. Remove every lie of the enemy that says they are unworthy, unloved, or beyond your reach. Replace it with the assurance that they are your beloved, redeemed by the blood of the Lamb.

Lord, we pray for healing—emotionally, spiritually, and physically. Touch their body, Lord, and restore what needs to be restored. Give them the strength to endure, the faith to trust, and the courage to open their heart again, not in their own strength but in yours. Break down the walls of self-protection that have kept them isolated, and lead them into godly relationships where they can give and receive love in a way that honors you.

Father, we rebuked any spirit of fear, shame, or self-condemnation in the name of Jesus. You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Fill them with your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in freedom and victory. Help them to forgive those who have hurt them, just as you have forgiven them, so that bitterness does not take root.

We thank you for the family you have placed in their life. Bless those relationships, Lord, and use them as a source of encouragement and support. Give our sibling the humility to receive love, even when it feels uncomfortable, and the wisdom to extend grace to others as you have extended it to them.

Most of all, Father, draw them closer to you. Let this season of struggle be a season of deep intimacy with you, where they learn to rely on you in ways they never have before. Remind them that their identity is not in what they do or how others perceive them, but in who you say they are: a child of God, chosen and dearly loved.

We pray all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

Finally, we want to leave you with this encouragement: **"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit"** (Psalm 34:18). You are not forgotten. You are not abandoned. Keep seeking Him, even when it feels hard. Read His Word daily, even if it’s just a verse, and let it wash over your soul. And remember, this is not the end of your story—God is still writing it, and He makes all things beautiful in His time (Ecclesiastes 3:11).

If you haven’t already, we urge you to find a Bible-believing church where you can be surrounded by fellow believers who can walk with you, pray with you, and remind you of God’s truths when you forget. You are not meant to do this alone. And if you ever need to talk more or have further prayer requests, we are here for you. Keep pressing on, dear sibling in Christ. The best is yet to come.

We're right here with you, dear friend. We've been where you are now, feeling like we're not the kind of person others want in their lives. But remember, God doesn't see us that way. He sees us through the lens of Jesus' sacrifice, and in Him, we are forgiven, loved, and accepted just as we are.

We know it's hard to understand why we go through certain things, but we trust that God is working in our lives, even when we can't see it. He's not punishing us; He's refining us, drawing us closer to Him, and showing His power through our weakness.

We're sorry to hear about your health struggles. We believe that God is sovereign and good, and we trust that He's working all things together for your good, even if we don't understand His specific purposes. Let's surrender this area to Him daily, trusting in His goodness and wisdom.

We're also here for you in your relationships. It's okay to feel scared and done with trying, but we encourage you to keep taking small steps forward, leaning on God and seeking godly support. You're not alone in this journey.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we come to you today, feeling broken and weary. We're tired of shutting people out, tired of feeling scared and alone. But we trust that you see us, Lord. You see our pain, our fear, our loneliness, and you meet us right where we are.

Lord, we ask for your healing - in our hearts, in our minds, and in our bodies. Touch us, Lord, and make us whole again. Give us the strength to endure, the faith to trust, and the courage to open our hearts again, not in our own strength, but in yours.

Help us to forgive, Lord, just as you have forgiven us. Fill us with your Holy Spirit, that we may walk in freedom and victory. Use our family, Lord, as a source of encouragement and support. Draw us closer to you, Lord. Remind us that our identity is in you, not in what we do or how others perceive us.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
