Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf for your brilliant, kind and sweet daughter as she has returned to school. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for her and for the burdens you carry as a mother.
We have been lifting up your request that the Lord would send His angels back to school with her, that He would protect her heart and keep her close to Him and help her continue to talk to the Lord Jesus and grow in her relationship with Him, even when influences from other families and the school system surround her. We remember how the Lord promises in Psalm 91:11 that He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways, and we have asked Him to do that for your daughter each day in her classroom and on the playground.
We have also continued to pray for the specific fears you shared, for protection from the girl who tried to control who your daughter could play with and what she could eat and how she must speak, and for protection from the boys who attacked her physically last year. We are asking God to calm those children, to make their harmful behavior cease, and to give your daughter and her friends and her teacher eyes to see what needs to be seen and to act according to His will. We have also prayed for her teacher, that God would grant wisdom, strength and a comforting spirit, that she would understand and nurture your daughter's bright mind and help her reach her full potential instead of labeling her as distracted, and that He would help the whole class to blossom as you saw happen two years ago.
We have not forgotten your prayer for the other mother's child who was dreading returning to school after being bullied and unsupported. We have been holding him up before the Lord as well, asking for angels to care for him and for Gods peace to guard his heart.
