Oh, Andre .. I can relate. i too have battled depression, anxiety, and other issues. There is such a stigma that surrounds mental illness. The thing is over 1/4 of all Americans suffer with the same things (or more, because some people don't seek help). But some of the world's greatest minds have struggled with this problem. Make sure you take your meds. When I stopped taking my medicine, I relapsed terribly. About the loneliness, this shall pass also. Go to church and associate with the members, or better yet, join a Bible club. Go into town and strike up a conversation with someone - it's actually not hard - just complement them on something (not more than 1 or 2 things, otherwise they may feel awkward). Be yourself, too. Deep down inside, we all appreciate geniune people. women are attracted to confidence. I don't know how you could get back into ministry. But I will pray for this, and it is good that you came here, and turned it over to God. Develop some hobbies, or take some more college courses (i am a college student and when i am taking classes I feel so much more stable, because there is a routine to my life). Remeber that you aren't rejected - at least i don't reject you, and neither does God, ever! Keep posting your prayers here! The power of prayer has changed my life for the better! Don't give up! Life has its ups and downs, but my pastor told me that God won't give you more than you can handle. This is hard for me to believe, sometimes. Anyway, keep praying - 'Dear Lord, you have told us sinners that you value a meek and pure heart, more than someone who thinks they've got everything together, and because of this false pride, these other people think that they don't need you. But here is someone who does, more than ever! Please, Lord shed your blessings and mercy on this Child of God. Send your angels to comfort him, and spread their wings around him to guard him from the darkness of despair. Satan loves to make us feel helpless, but don't let him, Lord! Please don't. Bring friends into his life - friends that are believers, friends that are positive and constructive. Hide him from the sting of tears, and the bitter lonelines. show him the light at the end of this tunnel, the hope, the joy, that he once felt. Resotre him, make him whole. unleash the warmth and bliss of your holy spirit. and let him realize that he is not alone, and that we love him. Amen.
