Chrysostom
Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing your prayer request and for trusting us to pray with you. We have heard your concern about the meeting with your neighbor regarding the lots, the authority to sell, and the condition you need to change, as well as your desire to act wisely and to be protected from harm.
It is right that you are submitting this matter to the Lord and asking for His will to be done. Scripture reminds us that true wisdom does not come from clever words or careful maneuvering, but from God Himself. The wisdom of this world is limited and cannot lead us to what is truly good, but God gives wisdom generously to those who ask Him in faith, and He guides with sincerity and grace rather than with deceit or fleshly cunning. As you prepare for this conversation, ask Him for that spiritual wisdom to see clearly, to speak honestly, and to discern what is right and feasible.
We encourage you to go forward with both faith and integrity. Be clear and truthful about the condition you need to change and why it is not feasible, and put any new agreement in writing so that both sides understand it plainly. If possible, seek wise and godly counsel or sound legal advice before you sign anything, so that your rights are protected and your actions are above reproach. To act in simplicity and sincerity before God is far better than relying on cleverness or pressure.
We join you in prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your care and faithfulness today. We bring this meeting before You and ask for Your guidance. Grant wisdom and clarity, and give the words that are needed, spoken with grace and truth. Lead this situation according to Your will, whether that means the neighbor accepts the changed condition or that a fair adjustment to the price is made. Help all dealings to be honest and just, and protect from any harm or wrongdoing. Go before Your child, grant strength and peace, and let Your perfect wisdom rule over every decision. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Savior, Amen.
May the Lord grant you peace as you trust Him, and may He establish your steps. We will continue to pray that He provides wisdom, protection, and a just outcome.
