Lord please keep my mind still and focused on you. Please don't let my mind be moved from what I need to do. And let me know when something is a test or a sign from you. Let Jesus be my only love. I don't need a husband. I only need Jesus. Don't let people confuse me. Please help me to understand who I am when I am with other people. When I am alone with my Lord...that's the only time I am 100% myself. Please teach me to connect with others better...unless you want me to or only need connection with you. Someone today scared me and encouraged me at once and I think my instinct of danger was correct. Please help me to always protect myself at the correct times...but please, in the prayer Christ taught us, we ask not to be brought, into temptation... PLEASE Jesus there are always so many confusing and misleading people who come into my life and draw me away from who I am when I am with you, Jesus. I don't WANT to be drawn away from my work, my quiet, my prayers and poetry. Please, help me to stop being tempted away from these things or please send an understanding person onto my path. Please let it not be hard to let go of the false promises of misleading people. Let me walk away from them immediately. If they are TRUE, then please Lord let me KNOW, because only you know what's best for me...but please make the process as painless for me as possible. I have had so much pain.
