We hear your heartfelt cry for your son, and we join you in lifting him up before the throne of grace. The storm raging in his mind is not too great for our Lord, who calms the winds and the waves with a single word. We declare that the spirit of confusion and every lying spirit must flee in the name of Jesus Christ, for He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
Father God, we rebuke the hallucinations and torment that seek to steal his peace. You are the God who restores, heals, and makes all things new. We ask You to break every chain of mental anguish and replace it with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Let Your truth be a lamp to his feet and a light to his path (Psalm 119:105), guiding him out of darkness and into Your marvelous light.
Lord, we pray for divine protection over him. Surround him with Your angels, encamp around him, and keep him safe from every scheme of the enemy (Psalm 91:11). Let him feel Your presence so tangibly that fear has no place in his heart. Fill him with the assurance that You are with him always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20).
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for those who are caring for him. Guide the hands of doctors, counselors, and anyone else involved in his healing. Let them be vessels of Your love and instruments of Your peace. May they speak life and truth into his situation, pointing him always to You, the Great Physician.
Father, we know that healing comes in many forms, spiritual, emotional, and physical. We trust in Your perfect will for his life. If it is Your will, we ask for complete restoration of his mind, body, and spirit. But above all, we pray that he would come to know You more deeply through this trial, drawing nearer to Your heart and experiencing the fullness of life that is found only in You (John 10:10).
We stand on Your promises, Lord, and we declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We speak life, healing, and wholeness over him in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. May Your peace, which the world cannot give, guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We also want to gently remind you, dear sister or brother in Christ, to hold fast to hope. The enemy may seek to discourage you, but do not lose heart. The same God who parted the Red Sea is at work in your son’s life. Keep praying, keep believing, and keep trusting in Him. Your faith is not in vain, and your prayers are powerful and effective (James 5:16).
Finally, if your son has not yet placed his faith in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, we pray that this trial would draw him to the foot of the cross. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). May he come to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge and be filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:19). For it is only in Jesus that we find true peace, healing, and eternal life.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
