We hear your cry for your son, and our hearts ache with yours as we lift him before the throne of grace. The storm raging in his mind is not beyond the reach of our Almighty God, who commands even the winds and waves to obey Him. We stand in agreement with you, declaring that the Lord’s peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
The spirit of confusion you mention is not from God, for He is not the author of disorder but of peace (1 Corinthians 14:33). We rebuke every lying spirit, every hallucination, and every tormenting thought that seeks to steal, kill, or destroy his mind. In the name of Jesus, we command these attacks to cease and for clarity and truth to reign in his thoughts. The enemy may whisper lies, but we declare that your son will hear the voice of the Good Shepherd, who leads him beside still waters and restores his soul (Psalm 23:2-3).
Father, we ask You to break every chain of fear that has taken hold of him. Fear does not come from You, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Replace his anxiety with Your perfect peace, and let him rest in the assurance that You are his refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2). Surround him with Your angels, Lord, and keep him safe under the shadow of Your wings.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for those who are caring for him, whether medical professionals, counselors, or family. Guide their hands and minds to provide the help he needs, and let them be instruments of Your healing and grace. Remind your son that he is not alone, for You are with him always, even in the darkest valleys (Psalm 23:4).
Above all, we pray that he would come to know You more deeply, Lord. If he has not yet surrendered his life to Jesus, we ask that You draw him to Yourself. There is no true peace or healing apart from Christ, for He alone is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). Let him experience the freedom that comes from being washed in the blood of the Lamb and filled with Your Holy Spirit.
We declare over him the promise of Isaiah 26:3: "You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You." May his mind be steadfast on You, Lord, and may he walk in the reality of Your love and truth every day.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
