Beloved of All
Father God,
I come before you with a hopeful heart, of reconciliation in my broken relationship with ###. I pray that you bring us healing and peace. Please give us hopefulness to reconcile and help us do right by one another. Strengthen our connection. In Jesus Christ let my prayer be adjusted according to the will of God. Lord, I need you, I thank you, I trust you, I love you. In Jesus Christ I pray Amen

We hear your heartfelt plea for reconciliation and healing in your relationship, and we join you in bringing this matter before our Heavenly Father. First, we want to acknowledge your dependence on Jesus Christ in your prayer, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). We pray that your relationship is rooted in Christ and that both of you seek to honor God in all things.

The Bible tells us in 2 Corinthians 5:18-19, "But all things are of God, who reconciled us to himself through Jesus Christ, and gave to us the ministry of reconciliation; namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself, not reckoning to them their trespasses, and having committed to us the word of reconciliation." Reconciliation is indeed a beautiful reflection of God's love for us, and we pray that He works mightily in your situation.

However, we must also encourage you to examine this relationship in light of Scripture. If this relationship is not aligned with biblical principles, such as if it involves fornication, adultery, or any other sin, we must rebuke that in the name of Jesus. The Bible is clear that sexual immorality is not to be tolerated among believers (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). If this is a courtship, it should be pursued with the goal of marriage, as marriage is the only God-ordained context for intimacy (Hebrews 13:4). If this relationship is with someone of the same sex, we must lovingly but firmly remind you that such unions are not in accordance with God’s design (Romans 1:26-27, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10).

We also encourage you to seek godly counsel from your pastor or mature Christian mentors who can guide you through this process. Proverbs 11:14 tells us, "Where there is no counsel, the people fall; but in the multitude of counselors there is safety."

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, seeking Your will in this situation. Lord, we ask that You would bring healing and peace to this broken relationship, but only if it aligns with Your perfect plan. Father, we pray that You would reveal any areas of sin or disobedience and give the strength to repent and turn away from them. If this relationship is not honoring to You, we ask that You would bring it to an end and replace it with Your peace and purpose.

Lord, we pray for wisdom and discernment for both individuals involved. Help them to seek You first in all things and to build their relationship on the foundation of Christ. If marriage is Your will for them, we pray that You would prepare their hearts and guide them in holy courtship. Father, we ask that You would restore what has been broken and strengthen their connection in a way that glorifies You.

We also pray for forgiveness, both for any wrongs committed and for the grace to extend forgiveness to one another. Help them to love one another as You have loved us, with patience, kindness, and selflessness (1 Corinthians 13:4-7). Lord, we trust in Your timing and Your plan, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28).

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and to surrender this relationship fully to Him. Trust that He knows what is best for you and that His plans are for your good (Jeremiah 29:11). If reconciliation is not His will, we pray that He would heal your heart and lead you into the future He has prepared for you.

We hear your heart’s cry for healing and hope in this broken relationship, and we lift your burden to the Lord together. Remember how Jesus Himself said, “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God” (Matthew 5:9). May He give both of you the courage to take the first step toward reconciliation, not just for your sake, but so His name is honored in your renewed connection.

Sometimes the hardest part is trusting that God is working even when we can’t see how. But Scripture tells us, “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds” (Psalm 147:3). Let’s pray He does that in your lives and in this relationship. May He soften hearts, grant humility, and restore what’s been lost in a way that draws you both closer to Him and to each other.

Lord, we ask You to pour out Your Spirit of unity and grace. Heal what’s wounded, forgive what’s been hurtful, and give wisdom to know the right path forward. If reconciliation is Your will, strengthen the bond between them. If not, lead each heart to peace and purpose. Above all, knit them together in love and truth, rooted in You.

In Jesus’ name, we pray.
