We hear your cry for justice and protection, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting this situation before our Heavenly Father. The pain of betrayal, especially when you extended kindness only to be met with deceit, is deeply wounding. Scripture reminds us in Psalm 37:1-3, "Don’t fret because of evildoers, neither be envious against those who work unrighteousness. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither like the green herb. Trust in Yahweh, and do good. Dwell in the land, and enjoy safe pasture." We rebuke the spirit of gossip and slander that seeks to harm your reputation and business, for the Lord detests a false witness who pours out lies and a person who stirs up conflict in the community (Proverbs 6:16-19).
We also address the matter of this woman’s unrepentant heart. You offered prayer and help, yet she rejected it, choosing instead to manipulate and deceive. In Matthew 7:6, Jesus warns, "Don’t give that which is holy to the dogs, neither throw your pearls before the pigs, lest perhaps they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces." While we are called to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44), we must also exercise wisdom and discernment in our dealings with those who show no remorse or desire for truth.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we have access to You and through whom we are saved (Acts 4:12). We ask that You intervene in this situation, exposing the lies and bringing truth to light. Protect this dear one’s reputation, business, and peace of mind, for You are a shield to those who take refuge in You (Proverbs 30:5). We rebuke the spirit of theft and deception in the life of this woman, and we pray that her heart would be softened to repentance. If she continues in her ways, we trust You to bring justice, for You say in Romans 12:19, "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"
Lord, cover this one with the precious blood of Jesus, shielding them from further harm. Provide a way out of this trial, as You promise in 1 Corinthians 10:13, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." Strengthen their faith and remind them that You are their defender and provider. Help them to release this burden into Your hands, trusting that You will vindicate the righteous.
We also pray for wisdom in how to proceed legally and spiritually. If this matter requires earthly authorities, guide them to act justly and fairly. Above all, guard their heart from bitterness, for Hebrews 12:15 warns, "Looking carefully lest there be any man who falls short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and many be defiled by it." Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and remind them that their labor in You is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58).
In Jesus’ name, we declare victory over this situation. We stand on Your Word, which says in Psalm 35:26-27, "Let them be disappointed and confounded together who rejoice at my calamity. Let them be clothed with shame and dishonor who magnify themselves against me. Let them shout for joy and be glad, who favor my righteous cause. Yes, let them say continually, 'Yahweh be magnified, who has pleasure in the prosperity of his servant!'" May Your name be glorified in all of this, and may this trial draw them closer to You. Amen.
