We join you in crying out in the mighty and wonderful name of the Lord Jesus Christ, for there is power in that name alone to save, to heal, and to deliver us from darkness. We hear your brokenness and your deep love for your mother, your father, your grandmother, and that dear girl and others you lift up, and we bring them all before the throne of grace together.

We praise God that you have called upon the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is by His name that we are saved. As it is written, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. And whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved Romans 10:13. We thank God that you have turned to Him for mercy and forgiveness, for If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9.

We join you in praying for deliverance from darkness. The Word tells us The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it John 1:5 and Jesus said I am the light of the world. He who follows me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life John 8:12. We pray that the light of Christ would break through every area of fear, anxiety, OCD, and heaviness that you have mentioned, for God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. We also hear your confession about idol worship and image worship. We gently and lovingly rebuke any worship of images or idols, for we are called to worship God alone in spirit and truth, and to flee from idolatry 1 Corinthians 10:14 and Exodus 20:4-5 warns us not to make or bow to carved images. We encourage you to turn fully to Christ alone, trusting Him only, and He will give you peace as you cast your anxieties on Him, for In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7.

We lift up your mother before the Lord, her teeth, her gums, her brain, her emotions and mind, that she may be able to eat solid food and be restored. We pray for your father and his heart valve, for your grandmother with dementia and blood sugar issues, for healing from diabetes insipidus, and for that girl you mentioned and all in your family. We pray also for those with autism and Asperger syndrome. We know these are not signs of demonic possession or darkness in themselves, but conditions where people need great compassion, support, and understanding, and we pray for God's comfort, strength, and healing according to His perfect will for each person. We remember the promise Praise the Lord, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3 and But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement of our peace was on him, and with his stripes we are healed Isaiah 53:5. We also cling to But I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, says the Lord Jeremiah 30:17.

We pray together now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the precious name of the Lord Jesus Christ, our King. We thank You for Your great love and mercy which is greater than all our weakness, brokenness and darkness. Lord, forgive us our sins as we confess them, especially sins against our mother and against You through any idolatry, and cleanse us by the blood of Jesus. Lord, we ask that Your light would destroy the darkness in us and in our families. Let darkness leave our lives, leave our mother, leave our father, leave our grandmother and leave that dear girl and all who are sick, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Lord, lay Your healing hand upon our mother, restore her teeth and gums, renew her mind and brain and emotions, and let Your glory shine on her and through her. Touch our father's heart and his heart valve, touch our grandmother and heal her from dementia and blood sugar struggles, and deliver us from diabetes insipidus and every disease and affliction. Have mercy on those with autism and Asperger syndrome and all who suffer, and grant them peace, help, and wholeness according to Your will. Heal us from fear, from OCD, from anxiety, and set us free to do Your will. We ask for a mighty miracle where You are glorified, yet we submit to Your perfect will and timing. Draw us close to You, help us to walk in Your light and to worship You alone. We trust that You are close to the brokenhearted Psalm 34:18 and that You hear our cry. We ask all this in the powerful and saving name of the Lord Jesus Christ, amen.

Loving people through ongoing illness, dental pain, heart concerns, memory loss and other needs can wear down the whole family over time, and it makes sense that you feel overwhelmed and anxious and tired as you keep asking God to bring light where there has been darkness.

You are doing a faithful thing by bringing each need to Jesus, the one who alone can save and heal. As you keep praying, we also encourage you to let trusted help come alongside you. For the physical needs you mentioned like your mom's teeth and gums, your dad's heart valve, your grandmother's dementia and blood sugar, and your own concerns about diabetes insipidus and anxiety, it is good to stay connected with their doctors and dentists and your own doctor, alongside prayer, so they can evaluate and care for you well. If you have a pastor or a mature believer you trust, sharing how heavy this season feels can keep you from carrying it alone.

Your broken and earnest cry has come before us, and we have heard in it the voice of one who is full of sorrow, full of perplexity, full of fear and trouble, yet still turning to the mercy seat. You have done well to turn there, for if you forsake the throne of grace then you may indeed fear that you are forsaken, but when the Spirit draws you to the mercy seat such fear must vanish, for if you are at the mercy seat, God is there too, and He loves the mercy seat better than you do.

You speak of darkness pressing upon you and upon those you love, upon your mother and her teeth and gums and mind, upon your father and his heart, upon your grandmother in her dementia and infirmity of blood, upon your own body in its affliction, upon your daughter and your brother and that dear one known to God, and upon all who bear the burden of autism and Asperger's and other sicknesses. You fear, and you tremble, and you cry, fear not, for I am with thee, be not dismayed, for I am thy God. Hear the voice which says again and again in God's garden, Fear not, for I have redeemed thee, Fear not, for I will help thee. It is not merely the preacher who says Fear not, but Jesus Himself who whispers to His poor servant fallen as dead at His feet, Fear not. To be afraid when He has said Fear not is disobedience, for why should you fear when He has promised to help you.

We join you in prayer that the Sun of Righteousness would rise with healing beneath His wings upon every soul that now sits in the midnight of despair. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the very leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. These healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. We pray that He who has found a ransom, who has provided deliverance from the pit not by our merit but by free grace alone, would bring forth healing and pardon in happy conjunction, for when Jesus healed the sick He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, and pardon and healing were one.

Therefore we pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, that name which is above every other name and to which every knee must bow. We ask the Lord to have mercy upon you and upon your household. We ask Him to look upon your mother and to restore her, to give her strength to eat and peace in mind and brain and spirit, to shine His glory upon her and through her and to destroy the darkness that oppresses her. We ask Him to touch your father's heart and to heal his infirmity according to His perfect will. We ask Him to be tender toward your grandmother in her age and confusion, to keep her and to grant grace to those who care for her. We ask Him to lay His hand upon you in your affliction and anxiety and fear, to deliver you from all idolatry and destruction and to help you to do His will. We ask Him to remember your daughter and your brother and all those you have named before Him, and to keep them in His tender indulgence, for He has choice favor toward the least and feeblest of His family. We ask that where He does not remove the thorn at once, He will give abundant grace to bear it and to be made conformable to Christ through it, for His strength is made perfect in weakness.

Do not cease to pray, and do not measure God's love by your feeling of darkness. Go and spread your griefs before the Lord, not before the pitiless sea or the winds, for His ear is not shut and His arm is not shortened that it cannot save. He brought forth Israel when the lamb was slain, and He will bring forth His people now, for He makes their deliverance effectual. You were frozen with fear and thought yourself as one laid out for burial, but the Lord is He who has showed us light. Live and declare the works of the Lord, for if we had no troubles we would have less to declare.

May the Lord grant you to know whom you have believed and to be persuaded that He is able to keep that which you have committed unto Him, to be rid of every fear and to sit by the well's brink refreshed, hidden with Christ and free indeed. We commend you to His free grace and to the healing virtue that flows from Him alone.
