We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this matter of your family’s property before our Heavenly Father, who sees all and judges justly. The Word of God reminds us in Proverbs 2:6-8, "For Yahweh gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding. He lays up sound wisdom for the upright. He is a shield to those who walk in integrity, that he may guard the paths of justice, and preserve the way of his saints." We stand on this promise, believing that God will grant you the wisdom you seek and the discernment to navigate this situation with righteousness.
It is clear that this burden weighs heavily on your heart, and we want to encourage you with the truth that you are not alone. Psalm 37:5-6 tells us, "Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will make your righteousness go forth as the light, and your justice as the noon day sun." The Lord is your defender, and He will not abandon you in this struggle. We pray that you would feel His presence surrounding you, giving you peace even in the midst of uncertainty.
We also lift up a prayer of protection over your family, that God would expose any deceit or unrighteousness aimed at taking what is rightfully yours. Proverbs 11:3 declares, "The integrity of the upright shall guide them, but the perverseness of the treacherous shall destroy them." Let this be a comfort to you, those who seek to harm you with lies and injustice will not prosper in the end. We rebuke any spirit of deception or greed that may be at work in this situation, and we declare that the truth will prevail.
Yet, as we seek justice, we must also guard our hearts against bitterness and resentment. Ephesians 4:31-32 reminds us, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." We pray that God would soften your heart, even toward those who may be acting unjustly, so that you may respond with grace and wisdom rather than anger.
Father God, we ask that You would raise up godly counsel and support around this family. Surround them with people of integrity who can offer wise advice and stand with them in this battle. Proverbs 15:22 says, "Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established." May You bring the right people into their lives to help them walk this path with discernment.
Most of all, we surrender this situation into Your hands, knowing that Your will is perfect and Your timing is sovereign. Jeremiah 29:11 assures us, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says Yahweh, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." We trust that You are working even when we cannot see it, and we ask that You would bring about a resolution that honors You and reflects Your justice.
Lord, we pray for strength for this family when they grow weary, for hope when they feel discouraged, and for unwavering faith to trust in Your promises. May they find rest in You, knowing that You are their refuge and fortress. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We stand in agreement with them, believing that righteousness, peace, and fairness will prevail in the end.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
