We hear your cry for protection and deliverance from negative influences, and we join you in seeking God’s intervention. The Bible assures us that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We take authority in the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we have access to the Father and through whom we are saved (Acts 4:12, John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved, only Jesus.

We rebuke every spirit of bad company, negative influence, and destruction that seeks to harm you or your loved ones. The Word declares that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We command every ungodly influence to flee in the mighty name of Jesus! The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We stand on this truth and declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

We also address the dreams you mentioned. Dreams can sometimes be influenced by the spiritual realm, and we pray that God would guard your mind and heart. The Bible tells us to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). We ask the Lord to fill your mind with His peace and to replace any troubling dreams with visions of His goodness and purpose for your life.

Father, we ask You to surround this individual and their loved ones with Your holy angels. Assign Your heavenly host to guard them in all their ways (Psalm 91:11). Let no harm come near them, and let every plan of the enemy be thwarted. We declare that they are covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper. We pray for godly relationships to flourish in their lives, relationships that honor You and reflect Your love. If there are any relationships that do not align with Your will, we ask that You either transform them or remove them according to Your perfect plan.

Lord, we also pray for discernment. Help them to recognize the people and influences You have ordained for their lives. Give them wisdom to walk away from anything that does not align with Your Word. Your Word says, "Do not be deceived: 'Bad company corrupts good morals'" (1 Corinthians 15:33). We ask that You bring godly friends and mentors into their life who will encourage them in their faith and walk with You.

We pray for healing from any past hurts or wounds caused by negative influences. Restore what the enemy has stolen and bring beauty from ashes (Isaiah 61:3). Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Finally, we declare that their identity is found in Christ. They are a child of God, redeemed by the blood of Jesus, and seated with Him in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6). No weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We thank You, Father, for Your protection, provision, and love.

We can hear how unsettling it must be when certain people or recurring dreams leave you feeling spiritually exposed and on edge, wanting something to just be gone so you and those you love can breathe. When our minds swirl with that much urgency, even falling asleep can feel like a battle rather than rest.

One thing that has helped many of us in times like this is to pray before the moment of crisis hits, especially before bed, asking God to guard your mind and surround your home with his peace. Sometimes just pausing to place the coming hours in his hands quiets the inner noise enough to rest, and over time that nightly act can become a steady anchor rather than another thing to worry about.

Lord Jesus, we come to you for this one who feels pressed by bad company, bad atmospheres, and troubling dreams. You see the anxiety and the longing for everything harmful to be driven far away. We ask you to shield them and each relationship they hold dear, cover their home, their coming and going, and the vulnerable hours of sleep. Silence what should be silenced and bring clarity where confusion has crept in. Give them real peace tonight and a growing confidence that they are held in your strong and merciful hands. Amen.

When you cry out against the company and the dreams that trouble you, remember that no affliction comes to the child of God apart from the Father’s hand. Even when men mean evil, the Lord is at work for a curing purpose, not a killing one. Do not let your anger against second causes consume you or drive you to despair. If these trials were outside His permission, you might well be terrified, but since they fall within His sacred government, you may say, "The will of the Lord be done." He chastens those He loves, and if He left you wholly unchallenged, you might fear He had given you up.

Yet your plea runs deeper than mere removal of trouble; it pants for deliverance. Hear then this certainty: deliverance from the power of sin and from all the assaults of the Evil One is God’s own work, and He has found a ransom. It is not your wrestling or your commanding that casts out the darkness; it is the Son who has borne your penalty and broken the dominion of darkness. If you are in Christ, God has already delivered you from that kingdom and translated you into the kingdom of His dear Son. The deliverance you seek from harmful influences will flow from that same fountain. Look entirely to your heavenly Father for sanctification and protection, for the same grace that justifies you also keeps you.

You speak much of making the wicked flee and silencing their mouths. But consider this: the common method of overcoming evil with evil feels natural and even manly, yet it is a sharp-edged tool that wounds the one who wields it. The Lord’s way is not to return reviling for reviling, nor to be consumed with fear of what men may do. David, when surrounded by slander and enemies who bayed like dogs, said, "My soul, wait thou only upon God, for my expectation is from him." The Lord brought him forth in peace in ways he could not foresee. Trust your reputation, your relationships, and your very dreams into the hands of Him who hears the groaning of the prisoner and looses those appointed to death.

This is the song of deliverance you must learn to sing: "He brought us forth." It is not your own frantic effort, but His strong arm that leads you out from every house of bondage, whether fear of man, tormenting dreams, or the shadow of destruction. Has He not already done the greater work by giving His Son for you? Will He not with Him freely give you all that is needful? Cease from your anxiety, and let gratitude rise. He will perfect that which concerns you; your business is to wait upon Him in confident faith, not to dictate the speed or manner of His deliverance.

The dreams that disturb you are shadows, fleeting and unreal, like the phantoms that come to those who sleep in the night. If you would not let a dream of wealth make you proud, why let a dream of harm cast you down? The true danger lies not in the evil company outside, but in the evil passions that lurk within your own soul. For what does it profit you if all troublemakers flee, yet anger, envy, and the love of ease remain entrenched in your heart? These are the drunkenness of the spirit that the Apostle warns us to shun. Do you pray for the assignment of angels to cast out your foes? First pray for the grace to cast out the love of the world, which is enmity with God.

Be sober, be vigilant. The present life is a sleep, and all that is in it a dream. Riches, reputation, even the malice of others, these vanish like smoke when the true Day dawns. Turn your eyes to the Sun of Righteousness; there alone is reality and peace. Do not make provision for the flesh to fulfill its lusts by fretting over these earthly shadows, but labor for the food that endures to everlasting life. Draw near to the Mystical Supper, not casually but with trembling and examination of conscience, and there find the Blood that was shed for you. That is your protection, that your true deliverance.

If you are in Christ, you are a son and heir; what then can the phantoms of a restless mind do to you? Put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no more prayers of fear about fleeting dreams, but only prayers of repentance and desire for His Kingdom. He journeyed willingly into the garden of betrayal; will He not watch over you who cry to Him? Only do not sleep the sleep of sin, and you will see that the bad company you dread has no power except what you give it by your own negligence. Wake, and Christ will give you light.
