We join with you in prayer in Jesus' name and we hear the distress and fear in your heart over these dreams and the financial pressure you feel with Monday approaching. We know how troubling repeated dreams can be, especially when they speak of loss, abandonment, and betrayal, and we want to bring this before the Lord together with you, asking for His peace, protection, and provision.
The Word reminds us that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control, 2 Timothy 1:7. Fearful dreams often come from the multitude of cares and anxieties we carry, Ecclesiastes 5:3, and they are not necessarily a prophecy of what will happen. We can bring every anxious thought to the Lord, for He cares for us, 1 Peter 5:7, and we are told, Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:6-7.
We also hear your cry for God to deal with the one who you feel has lied to you and turned others against you. We understand that pain, and we gently remind one another what Scripture teaches about how we handle those who wrong us. Vengeance belongs to the Lord, Romans 12:19 says, Vengeance is mine, says the Lord, I will repay. And Jesus calls us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us, Matthew 5:44. So instead of asking God to harm or punish, we ask God to bring truth to light, to convict where there has been lying, to bring repentance, and to stop any scheme or injustice before it can cause harm. We pray for justice with mercy, and we release the need for personal revenge into God's hands, trusting Him as the righteous judge.
We also pray for your financial need, for God knows what you need before you ask. My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:19. We pray that if it is His will, He will provide for what is needed by Monday, and even if the answer looks different than you expect, that He will keep you and not let you lose everything, for we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose, Romans 8:28. We pray for wisdom for you to take practical steps as well, to seek godly counsel, to be diligent and honest in your dealings, and to trust the Lord to make a way.
Let us pray together.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our only mediator and Savior, and we lift up this dear one to You. Lord, You see the fear and the heaviness from these repeated dreams, the voice that threatens loss, the fear of being abandoned and betrayed. We ask in Jesus' name that You rebuke fear and grant Your perfect peace that guards heart and mind. Let no weapon formed against Your child prosper, Isaiah 54:17, and let every lying tongue be silenced by Your truth. Lord, if there has been lying and manipulation against this dear one, we ask that You expose the truth, convict the heart of the one who has lied, and lead her to repentance, and we ask that You stop any plan that would bring unjust harm. We forgive as You have forgiven us, and we leave justice in Your hands.
Father, we pray against these troubling dreams, that they will have no power and will not come to pass if they are not from You. We ask that You give restful sleep and assurance that You are in control. Lord, we bring the financial need before You, the deadline of Monday and the fear of losing everything. You are Jehovah Jireh, our provider. Please provide according to Your will, open doors that no man can shut, and give wisdom and favor in every conversation and decision. Help Your child to cast all anxiety on You and to walk in faith, not in fear. Let Your will be done, not our fears. We thank You that You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble, Psalm 46:1. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to seek the Lord earnestly, to spend time in His Word and in prayer, and to remember that He is your protector and provider. When fear rises, speak Scripture aloud and remind yourself that the Lord is with you. If there are practical financial steps you can take before Monday, seek wise and trustworthy counsel. We are standing with you, praying that God's truth will prevail, that peace will replace fear, and that you will find victory in Christ, for greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world, 1 John 4:4.
