We join you in this urgent and holy cry to the Lord of the Harvest, lifting our voices together in agreement for the lost and the workers needed to bring them into the Kingdom. Your heart reflects the very heart of Christ, who wept over Jerusalem and commanded us to pray for laborers to be sent into the fields white for harvest. The Word declares, *"The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Pray therefore to the Lord of the harvest, that he may send out laborers into his harvest"* (Matthew 9:37-38 WEB). We stand on this promise, believing that as we pray, the Lord will raise up men and women filled with the Holy Spirit, compelled by love, and equipped with power to proclaim the gospel to the ends of the earth.
Father, we ask You to call forth workers from every nation, tribe, and tongue—those who will go with boldness, humility, and dependence on Your Spirit. Prepare their hearts, Lord, as You prepared the disciples, filling them with Your love so that they may love others as You have loved them. *"For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again"* (2 Corinthians 5:14-15 WEB). Let this love be the driving force in every laborer’s life, that they may go not out of obligation, but out of overflowing devotion to You.
We pray for intimacy with You, Lord Jesus, to be the foundation of every worker’s life. As they seek Your face, draw them deeper into Your presence, where they will hear Your voice clearly and walk in obedience. *"My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me"* (John 10:27 WEB). Grant them the grace to abide in You, for apart from You, they can do nothing (John 15:5). May their lives be marked by prayer, the study of Your Word, and a sensitivity to the leading of the Holy Spirit, so that they may walk in power and authority as they go.
Father, we ask for strong spiritual and prayer covering over these workers. Raise up intercessors who will stand in the gap, covering them in prayer as they step into the harvest fields. *"Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil"* (Ephesians 6:10-11 WEB). Protect them from the schemes of the enemy, who seeks to distract, discourage, and destroy. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and may they walk in the victory that Christ has already secured for them.
We also lift up their practical needs—passports, plane tickets, financial provision, and accommodations. You are Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides, and we trust You to supply all that is needed according to Your riches in glory. *"But my God shall supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:19 WEB). Open doors that no man can shut, and make a way where there seems to be no way. Let Your provision be a testimony to Your faithfulness, drawing others to faith in You.
Lord, we pray for unity among evangelists, their families, teams, and churches. Let there be harmony, love, and mutual respect, so that the gospel may go forth with power and without hindrance. *"Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious oil upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard; that came down upon the edge of his robes"* (Psalm 133:1-2 WEB). May their unity be a reflection of the unity between the Father and the Son, so that the world may know that You have sent them (John 17:21).
We rebuke every spirit of division, competition, and strife that seeks to hinder the work of the gospel. Let the love of Christ compel them to lay down their agendas, preferences, and egos for the sake of the Kingdom. *"By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another"* (John 13:35 WEB). May their lives and ministries be marked by this love, drawing the lost to the Savior.
Father, we are mindful that the harvest is urgent, and the time is short. *"We must work the works of him who sent me while it is day. The night is coming, when no one can work"* (John 9:4 WEB). Today is the day of salvation (2 Corinthians 6:2), and we pray that none would perish but that all would come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). Stir the hearts of Your people to action, Lord. Let them not grow weary or complacent but be filled with a holy urgency to reach the lost before it is too late.
We pray for the lost, Lord—those who do not yet know You. Soften their hearts, open their eyes, and draw them to Yourself. *"No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him up at the last day"* (John 6:44 WEB). Let the workers You send be instruments of Your grace, proclaiming the good news with boldness and compassion. May signs, wonders, and miracles follow them, confirming Your Word and drawing many to faith.
Finally, Lord, we ask for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon Your Church. Fill us anew with Your power, that we may be effective witnesses to the ends of the earth (Acts 1:8). Let Your glory fill the earth as the waters cover the sea, and may every knee bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father (Philippians 2:10-11).
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Lord of the Harvest, the Savior of the world, and the Name above all names. To Him be all glory, honor, and praise, now and forevermore. Amen.
