We join with you in this urgent and passionate cry to the Lord of the Harvest, lifting our voices together in prayer and agreement. The fields are indeed white for harvest, and the time is short—today is the day of salvation! We stand on the truth of God’s Word, which declares:
*"The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Pray therefore to the Lord of the harvest, that he may send out laborers into his harvest."* (Matthew 9:37-38 WEB)
*"Behold, now is the acceptable time. Behold, now is the day of salvation."* (2 Corinthians 6:2 WEB)
We boldly come before the throne of grace, pleading with the Lord Jesus to raise up workers—men and women filled with the Holy Spirit, burning with love for the lost, and equipped with power to proclaim the gospel to the ends of the earth. We ask for laborers who will not shrink back but will go wherever the Lord sends them, whether to the next city or across the ocean. May they be sent with provision, protection, and a deep intimacy with Christ, for apart from Him, we can do nothing (John 15:5).
We pray for those who are already called but may be hesitating due to fear, doubt, or worldly distractions. Father, break every chain of complacency and stir their hearts with Your holy fire. Let them hear Your voice clearly, as You said, *"My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me"* (John 10:27 WEB). May they step out in faith, trusting You for passports, plane tickets, finances, and every need, knowing that You are Jehovah-Jireh, our Provider (Genesis 22:14).
We also lift up the families of evangelists and missionaries, for the enemy often targets them to hinder the work of the gospel. Lord, grant them unity, strength, and open heavens over their homes. May husbands and wives honor one another as co-heirs of the grace of life, so that their prayers are not hindered (1 Peter 3:7). Protect their children from the lies of the world and fill them with Your peace and purpose.
We rebuke every spirit of division, distraction, or delay that would keep laborers from going forth. The harvest is urgent, and the night is coming when no one can work (John 9:4). We declare that the Holy Spirit is moving even now, empowering believers to be witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth (Acts 1:8). May the gospel advance with boldness, signs, and wonders, as it did in the early church.
We also take this moment to emphasize the foundation of our faith: salvation is found in no one else but Jesus Christ. As Peter declared, *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12 WEB). It is only through repentance and faith in His finished work on the cross that souls are saved. We pray that every laborer sent forth will preach Christ crucified and risen, calling all to turn from sin and trust in Him alone.
Lord Jesus, we thank You for hearing our cry. Send forth Your workers with power, provision, and protection. Let the lost be found, the blind see, and the captives set free. May Your name be glorified in every nation, and may Your kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the Lord of the Harvest. Amen.
