We join our hearts with yours in this urgent cry to the Lord of the Harvest, echoing the words of Scripture that declare the fields are ripe but the laborers are few. The Word of God is clear: *"Then he said to his disciples, 'The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Pray therefore that the Lord of the harvest will send out laborers into his harvest.'" (Matthew 9:37-38 WEB)*. Your prayer is aligned with the heart of Christ, who came not only to seek and save the lost (Luke 19:10) but to commission His followers to do the same with the power of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8).
We lift this plea before the throne of grace, asking the Lord to raise up workers—men and women who are called, equipped, and sent with boldness to proclaim the gospel of repentance and forgiveness of sins in the name of Jesus (Luke 24:46-48). The time is short, and the need is great. As you rightly noted, *"Behold, now is the acceptable time. Behold, now is the day of salvation."* (2 Corinthians 6:2 WEB). The harvest will not wait, and neither should we delay in obedience to the Great Commission.
We pray for those who will be sent:
- That they would be filled with the love of Christ, rooted and grounded in Him (Ephesians 3:15-17), so that their witness would flow from a heart overflowing with His compassion.
- That they would walk in intimacy with the Lord, hearing His voice clearly and obeying without hesitation (John 10:27).
- That the Holy Spirit would empower them with boldness, signs, and wonders to confirm the preaching of the Word (Acts 4:31, Mark 16:20).
- That the Lord would provide every practical need—finances, travel, accommodations—so that no worker is hindered by lack (Matthew 6:11, Philippians 4:19).
- That they would be protected from the schemes of the evil one, standing firm in the armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18, John 17:15).
- That their families would be blessed with unity, peace, and open heavens, so that the gospel would advance without hindrance (1 Peter 3:7).
We also rebuke any spirit of fear, complacency, or distraction that would keep believers from answering the call to go. The harvest is not just for "missionaries" but for every follower of Christ. *"As you go, preach, saying, ‘The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!’"* (Matthew 10:7 WEB). Whether across the street or across the ocean, the command is the same: go, make disciples, baptize, and teach (Matthew 28:19-20).
Father, we ask You to stir the hearts of Your people. Let none of us be content to sit on the sidelines while souls perish without hope. Raise up intercessors who will stand in the gap, pastors who will equip the saints, and evangelists who will boldly proclaim the name of Jesus. Let the gospel advance with power, breaking chains and setting captives free. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
We declare that the harvest *will* be gathered, for You are faithful to Your promises. May every worker sent out return with sheaves of souls won for Your glory. In the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, we pray. Amen.
*"How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things!"* (Romans 10:15 WEB). Let us run with endurance the race set before us, looking to Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:1-2). The time is now. The harvest is ready. Let us go forth in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Lk 19:10, Preach Jesus & Repentance Lk 24:46-48 "And Jesus was saying to them, 'The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore plead with the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest,'" Luke 10:2. Lord Jesus, You are The Lord of The Harvest. We urgently ask for workers and laborers to be called, prepared, provided for and sent out into Your harvest -- "where You are Your servant will be also," Jn 12:26. Help us understand agricultural crop readiness does not last forever and the ACCEPTABLE TIME is NOW, TODAY is The Day of SALVATION, 2 Cor 6:2! Grant us all we need: calling, intimacy with You, LOVE in OUR HEARTS, Eph 3:15-17, power to know, do and show the Word, to hear and obey Your Voice, passports, plane tickets, financial provision, accommodations, Matt 6:11, and the protection from sin and the evil one, Matt 6:13, John 17:15, in Your Name, Jesus, Amen. "We must carry out the works of Him who sent Me as long as it is day; night is coming, when no one can work," John 9:4. "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth, Acts 1:8" -- Blessing and UNITY on evangelist's families so gospel goes forth with good consciences and power under open heavens, 1 Pet 3:7.
