Servant of All
Lord I struggle daily with feelings of hurt, fear of abandonment rooted in my childhood and feelings of rejection and loss. The temporary involuntary separation of my and my husband has hit me very hard and I find myself thinking in a self-destructive manner, I find myself picking fights with my husband and I find myself very bitter and unforgiving. Lord I feel as if though everything and everybody I love very deeply eventually leaves me alone or I lose them somehow. I feel very broken and I am at a point in my life that I really need to keep my head on my shoulders. I'm praying that this sadness can be lifted and that I can be strong and less sensitive. I don't want to be devastated any longer lord. I want to move forward with my life because I love being alive and I have faith that things will get better. I spend my nights crying silently and I feel like the lump in my throat will choke me soon. I don't want my brother or mother to see me crying. I just want to be happy again. My emotions and my mental state threaten to destroy me from the inside out. I am praying for mercy. I also pray for my marriage, I know I pray about it a lot but it means so much to me and I do not want to lose my husband the way my father left my mother. I don't want to repeat my mother's life. Oh God I don't want to suffer as she did and still does. Lord make my husband a better man and husband, work in his heart and mind and change the bad things, make him more understanding and fix his bad temper and yelling issues, lord make him admit he is not always right. And if you cannot change his pigheadedness then please make me more thick-skinned and stop me from being such a crybaby. I love this man but sometimes I swear I hate his guts for the way he speaks to me and makes me feel miserable. Lord forgive me for these feelings of bitterness and unforgiveness, please remove the bitterness and unforgiveness from the both of us and stop our arguments. We always argue about the same things. Lord I need you to make my husband more sympathetic to my mental illness which is anxiety, I need him to treat me with more compassion and tenderness. I also need him to come around more often as I only see him once in two weeks lately due to his business taking most of his time and him living in another city. Lord please make him see how much I am missing and need him and please give this marriage a chance. We were not married in the Christian church and he is not a Christian but I am. He however believes in Jesus Christ so there is hope! Please save his soul and forgive him his sins. Please Lord bless and sanctify our marriage In Jesus name. Amen.
