Beloved of All
Your honest and humble prayer has been heard, and I thank you for sharing it so openly. The cry you have lifted up, come into my life Lord Jesus, heal me and restore me, is the very cry God delights to answer.
Scripture teaches that God has placed salvation outside of our own ability. We cannot earn it or achieve it by our own effort. It rests entirely on His grace and on the work He has done through Jesus Christ, and it becomes ours when we put our trust in Him. The Bible says if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. That confession made now, in this life, with faith, is unto salvation and eternal life. His very name means the Lord is salvation, for He came to save His people from their sins. That is the one provision God has made for sin, and there is no other.
That is why Scripture urges us not to wait. The grace of God that brings salvation has appeared, and now is the accepted time, now is the day of salvation. Do not put off receiving what He offers today. If you are asking Jesus to come into your life, to forgive your covetousness and every other sin, and to be Lord over you, He will do it. To be freed from covetousness is not something you accomplish by trying harder, but by surrendering to Him and letting Him change your heart from within. You do not work for your salvation, you receive it by faith, and then with reverence you live it out day by day as God works in you.
You also asked for healing, for yourself and for your grandmother and your mother, and God cares about that need. The Bible shows that Jesus has power to heal both soul and body, and the prophet Isaiah spoke of Him bearing our infirmities as well as our sins. I believe God still heals, and every true healing, whether it comes suddenly or gradually through a process over time, comes from His hand. Even the natural processes of restoration in our bodies were created by Him. At the same time, we do not always understand why healing comes in one case in one way and in another case in another way, and Scripture shows that physical healing, while precious, is not always granted exactly as we ask in this life. What is certain is that the greatest miracle, and the most important healing, is the forgiveness of sins and the gift of eternal life. That salvation is of greater value than any physical relief, and when we have it, we can trust Him with our bodies and with those we love, knowing He loves them even more than we do.
He also sees the small and heavy burdens of daily life, like the heavy garbage you mentioned. Nothing is too small for His care. He invites you to cast every care on Him, both the great needs of your soul and the practical weight you carry today, and to ask Him for strength and help.
Let me pray for you. Lord Jesus Christ, thank You that You are the Savior and the healer. I ask that You come into this life that is being offered to You now. Forgive all sin, including covetousness, wash it away by Your blood, and make this heart new. Fill this life with Your presence and restore what has been broken. Lay Your hand of mercy upon this dear grandmother and mother, comfort them and bring healing according to Your perfect will. Give practical strength and help for the heavy tasks of each day, and let Your grace be felt in every need. Help this one to trust You fully as Lord and to walk in the assurance of Your salvation. Amen.
