We hear your cry to the Lord Jesus, and we join you in seeking His divine intervention. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are saved. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" We stand firm in this truth, lifting your request before the throne of grace.
Father God, in the mighty name of Jesus, we come before You with humble and contrite hearts. Lord Jesus, we ask that You intervene in this situation according to Your perfect will. Your Word assures us in Matthew 18:20, "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them." We claim this promise, knowing that You are here with us, hearing our prayers.
We rebuke any forces of darkness that may be at work, for we know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). Lord, we put on the full armor of God, standing firm against the schemes of the devil. We declare that no weapon formed against us shall prosper, as Your Word promises in Isaiah 54:17.
We pray for Your divine intervention, asking that You move mightily in this situation. Whether it is a matter of healing, restoration, guidance, or protection, we trust in Your sovereign power. Jeremiah 32:27 reminds us, "Behold, I am Yahweh, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me?" We know that nothing is impossible for You, and we place our trust in You alone.
Lord Jesus, we also ask that You draw hearts closer to You. If there are those involved who do not yet know You as their personal Savior, we pray that You would reveal Yourself to them. Open their eyes to see the truth of the Gospel, and soften their hearts to receive Your love and salvation. John 3:16-17 tells us, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God didn’t send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him."
We pray for wisdom and discernment for all those involved, that they may walk in Your ways and follow Your guidance. Proverbs 3:5-6 encourages us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
In this time of waiting and seeking, we ask for patience and faith to trust in Your perfect timing. Psalm 27:14 reminds us, "Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh."
Lord Jesus, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the assurance that You hear our prayers. We trust in Your promises and know that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We surrender this situation into Your hands, knowing that Your plans are for our welfare and not for evil, to give us a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Your cry, twice uttered, has come before the Lord who hears the desperate and the weary, and it is not in vain that you have called upon the name of Jesus.
There are times when the soul feels as one in a desperate case, tormented and pressed down, and the struggles within are appalling. Before deliverance comes the conflict may seem to grow more furious, as if the enemy knows his time is short. Yet it is in such extremity that the reality of divine grace is most manifest, for when a hard heart is melted and a broken spirit is lifted, we are compelled to say, there is a majesty in this love that only God can show.
Remember that when evening was come they brought unto Him those that were sick, and He, the Divine Physician, received them with tears of pity in His eyes and yet with joy upon His countenance, suffering with them and yet able to bless them. He is still waiting to save, even when the day is far spent and the sun is going down. If the Lord does not help you, where can help be found, from the threshing floor or from the winepress. Vain is the help of man, but His Providence is the firm ally of His saints, and His gentleness makes great.
Divine interpositions come in the way of deliverance from floods of trouble. He does not always stop the ordinary course of the world, yet He knows how to help the poor and to bring up the righteous from deep distress. The Divine Presence is the one hope of the people of God. What our souls need is not a new device of man, but that He would rend the heavens and come down for our help. How helpless guilty nature lies until a mind infinitely greater than our own shall come to our assistance, and that help is found in Christ alone.
May the Lord grant you now the set time of Divine Grace. Cast your burden wholly upon Jesus Christ, who suffered for sinners and who alone is able to save. Confess your need and your sin before Him, trust in His atoning blood and not in any strength of your own, and ask Him to work all your works in you. He is sovereign and full of compassion, and He will not despise a broken and a contrite heart.
We pray that the Lord Jesus, in His divine sovereignty and mercy, would intervene for you, deliver your soul from death, your eyes from tears and your feet from falling, cast out every evil that oppresses you, and give you peace through faith in Him. May He show you His hands and His feet and speak to you, I have suffered all this for you, and may you find your help and your rest in Him alone, to the praise of the glory of His grace.

The Lord does not overlook those who call upon Him in truth. Jesus Christ Himself was tempted and suffered in the flesh, and for that reason He knows what we endure and has full compassion for our weakness. When our condition feels desperate and there seems no way forward, faith is a great good, for God is able to save even from impossibilities. As He once made a path through the sea for those who had no escape, so He is still able to work with divine power where we have no strength.
Scripture teaches that His grace is sufficient for us and His power is made perfect in weakness. Often trials are permitted not to crush us but to keep us humble and to display His strength in us. Therefore do not give way to despondency or to hasty and reckless words, but come with reverence and godly fear, trusting that the Lord looks down from heaven and knows all that His children suffer.
Continue to seek Him in prayer, not with loud and anxious outcry, but with a quiet and steady heart. Do not forsake gathering together with other believers, for out of respect for one another and love for Christ we are kept from many evils and strengthened to do what is right. Bring your need to Him through Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name by which we are saved and no other mediator by whom we come to the Father.

Your cry, Lord Jesus please intervene, is a prayer God hears and honors. There is only one who can truly help, and you are calling on Him.
Scripture shows that God sometimes allows us to come to a desperate place so that we are pressed to Jesus with nothing else to hold onto. That desperation is not a sign that He has abandoned you. It is often His love bringing you to the end of your own resources so you will look entirely to Him.
It is important to be honest before Him. As long as we say I just need a little help, help does not come as it should. When we come to the place Paul came to at the end of Romans 7, where we stop looking for another self help formula or another way to fix ourselves and cry out who shall deliver me, we are finally calling for help from outside ourselves. That deliverer is Jesus Christ.
Do not look to what Scripture calls Egypt for help. That means the arm of flesh, human schemes, money, or quick solutions that promise much but have no substance. They turn out to be only a shadow and they cannot deliver. They will let you down and waste what you put into them. Your help is not in the hills around you. The psalmist asked from where does my help come, and then answered it himself. My help comes from the Lord who made heaven and earth. Because He is the Creator, nothing is too hard for Him. When you pray in desperation, remember whose name you are calling on. You are calling on the One who made all things, and it is nothing for Him to help, whether you feel strong or you have no strength at all. Like Asa prayed, we rest in You and in Your name we go forward. Resting means leaving the burden with Him instead of taking it back to wrestle with through the night.
You may feel He is delaying, as when the sisters sent word that Lazarus was sick and Jesus remained where He was for two more days. His delay was not lack of love. He had a greater purpose and He came in His perfect time. Waiting on Him, sitting still before Him in trust, is not wasted time. It is strength.
You do not need a large quantity of faith. Jesus said if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, God can work. Faith is not measured by size but by the object, and your faith is in Jesus Himself. And you can test what you are hearing in your own heart by the Word of God. What God says will always agree with Scripture. That is how you learn to tell the difference between His voice and your own thoughts.
So keep crying out honestly, Lord I cannot do this, I need You, please help me. He is gracious and He comes to help those who call on Him.
