Your heartfelt prayer has been received with care, and I thank God for the faith and persistence with which you have brought your family before Him, and for the thanksgiving you already offer for all He has done.
I hear how difficult and painful things have been, the attacks and abuse you have endured, and your desire not to lean on your own understanding but to trust the Lord. That trust is itself a gift from God, and it is right to ask Him to pour His love into your hearts according to Romans 5:5, to give new hearts and new minds, and to restore your souls as Psalm 23 promises. Continue to hold fast to what God has already answered, even while you wait for complete deliverance, healing and salvation for all. Gratitude keeps the heart from growing weary.
You have asked for strong protection, for a wall of fire and for angels to surround you according to Psalm 91 and Psalm 34:7, and for deliverance according to Jeremiah 15 and 2 Thessalonians 3. It is good and right to ask for protection, for our God is a shield and deliverer. At the same time remember that God sent His Son not to judge the world but to save the world, and the death of Jesus is for our salvation. His protection is not only from outward harm but for the salvation of the soul, and that salvation works in us through patient endurance in suffering, as we share both in the sufferings of Christ and in His comfort.
Concerning salvation for your whole family, hear this with urgency and hope. Scripture says now is the acceptable time, behold now is the day of salvation. Do not put off what pertains to salvation. Salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, for His arm is not too short to save, and whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved according to Acts 2:21 and Acts 16:31. Yet hearing alone is not sufficient for salvation. There is needed also a careful hearing and continual recollection, then fortitude, and a turning from worldly things, and a life of doing what we hear. So pray not only to hear the word but to live it, at home and abroad and in the church, with endurance.
You asked for healing according to Isaiah 53:5 and Jeremiah 30:17, for deliverance, for reconciliation and unity and a mighty outpouring of the Holy Spirit, for the breaking of curses and the restoration of what is broken according to Galatians 3:13 and Joel 2:25. Christ has redeemed us from the curse, and by His wounds we are healed. Ask Him to manifest the fruit of the Spirit, love, peace and joy, in each heart, and to restore what sin and sorrow have broken. He is able to turn curses into blessings and to restore the years that have been lost.
For the many relationships and concerns you named in your family, including school and teachers, and the painful and dysfunctional patterns you described, I will not ask God to bless what does not honor Him. Instead I pray as Scripture teaches, that every relationship would be brought into conformity with His holy design. Marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and all intimacy and living together belong within it. Where there is impurity, dysfunction, or treatment that wounds, pray that God would bring conviction, repentance, healing of wounds, and either a turning toward purity and wholeness within His design or a gracious separation from what is harmful. Pray for favor in school, for confidence rooted in Christ, for help with understanding and homework, for healing from trauma and rejection, and for purity of heart for each person you named. For those who have caused hurt, do not pray against them for vengeance, for that kind of prayer adds sin to sin. Pray instead for their salvation, for God to rebuke what is evil and to draw them to repentance, while He guards and comforts those who have been wounded.
You also confessed venting behind another's back and sharing frustration, and asked for forgiveness and help with conflict and with fear. God is faithful to forgive when we confess, and He gives grace to do better, to speak truth in love and to walk in courage rather than fear. You mentioned feeling overlooked, new responsibilities, work, sleep, vacation, and meetings. Bring each of these to the Lord for wisdom and strength, asking Him to direct and guide in all things and to give success as He wills. He knows your needs for rest, for provision, and for encouragement, and He will supply strength day by day.
For your prayer gatherings, including this Friday evening, and for your devotions and for the sermon, I pray that God would anoint, protect and guide you, and empower the time so that His word would be heard with care and would bear fruit. The power of truth is great, and when Christ is proclaimed, even hard hearts can be softened. Ask that your speaking would be for the salvation of hearers, that many would not delay but would come to Him who takes away the sin of the world.
May the Lord keep you in steadfast hope, knowing that whether in affliction or in comfort, God works for your consolation and salvation. Trust Him, continue in prayer, continue in doing His word, and give thanks in all things. May He be glorified in a mighty way in your lives.
Father, in the holy name of Jesus Christ, Your Son whom You sent to save and not to judge, I ask for Your mercy and protection over this family. Cover them, deliver them from evil, heal what is wounded, save those who are not yet saved, pour out Your Holy Spirit, create new hearts, restore souls, redeem from every curse through the cross, and restore what is broken. Lead every relationship into holiness according to Your design, grant purity, unity and peace, provide for school and work and daily needs, forgive sins, cast out fear, give supernatural trust and faith, and anoint every time of prayer and preaching for Your glory. I ask this through Jesus Christ alone, our only hope of salvation. Amen
