Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing your heart so openly and for bringing every one of these burdens before the Lord with such persistence and faith. It is clear that you have walked through a long season of pain, attacks and strain within your family, and that you are clinging to Jesus while still waiting for complete answers. Your thankfulness for what God has already done, even while you are still asking for deliverance, healing and salvation for those you love, honors Him.
I join you in asking for the Lord's protection over you and your family. Scripture promises that He is a wall of fire around His people, that His angels encamp around those who fear Him, that no weapon formed against His children will finally prosper, and that He is faithful to guard us from evil. It is right to plead the blood of Jesus and to ask for His covering according to Psalm 91, Psalm 34:7, Zechariah 2:5, Isaiah 54:17, Isaiah 59:19, Psalm 3:3, 2 Thessalonians 3:3 and Jeremiah 15:20-21. With Romans 8:31 we can pray with confidence that if God is for us, nothing can stand against His purposes for us.
Your greatest request is for salvation for your whole family, and that is the greatest need any of us has. The grace of God that brings salvation has appeared through Jesus Christ, and it is offered freely to all who will receive it. Jesus said whoever comes to Him He will never cast out, and that salvation reaches the lowest sinner. The Bible says now is the accepted time, today is the day of salvation. That means we should not put off responding to Him, because every person needs to confess with the mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in the heart that God raised Him from the dead. One day every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord, but for those who wait until that day that confession will not bring salvation, it will only be an acknowledgment that they were wrong to reject Him. To confess and submit to Him now is salvation and eternal life. His very name means the Lord our salvation, for He saves His people from their sins. He is the captain and originator of our salvation who suffered to bring many sons and daughters into glory, to make us part of God's family and heirs together with Him.
Salvation is not something we can achieve on our own. God placed it outside our ability so that it rests entirely on His grace and on the work Jesus finished on the cross, and even the faith to believe is His gift to us. When Scripture says to work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, it is not telling us to work for our salvation. It is calling those who have already received His grace to live it out with diligence and reverence, walking in obedience because God is at work within us. That is the life you are seeking when you ask for supernatural trust, for His faith and for His love to be poured into your hearts according to Romans 5:5 and for new hearts and new minds according to Ezekiel 36:25-27.
I also join you in praying for healing, deliverance, reconciliation and unity, and for a mighty outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Isaiah 53:5 and Matthew's application of it show that Christ's suffering provides for both spiritual and physical healing, and Jeremiah 30:17 reminds us that the Lord is our healer. At the same time Scripture shows that God does not always grant physical healing in the way and time we ask, as with Paul's thorn in the flesh where God chose to display His strength in weakness after Paul prayed three times. There is much about healing we do not fully understand. Sometimes Jesus healed instantly, sometimes gradually, sometimes with a touch and sometimes with a word from a distance, and sometimes through the natural processes He Himself created in our bodies. Whatever form His healing takes, the greatest miracle He does in any life is the forgiveness of sins and the gift of eternal life. That remains more important than any physical relief, though we continue to ask Him for both.
You asked that every curse be broken and turned to blessing and that what seems hopelessly broken be restored. Christ has redeemed us from the curse by becoming a curse for us, so that the blessing might come to us through Him according to Galatians 3:13-14, and He promises to restore what has been lost as in Joel 2:25 and to restore our souls as in Psalm 23:3. Reconciliation with God comes as we deny ourselves, take up our cross and live by the Spirit, and that ministry of reconciliation then flows into our relationships with others.
Concerning the many specific relationships, school needs, wounds, trauma, rejection and abandonment you mentioned, I pray that the Lord will bring each connection into alignment with His holy design. Marriage is His lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, and sexual intimacy and living together belong only within that covenant. Where relationships are dishonoring to Him, dysfunctional or harmful, pray that He will bring clear conviction, godly boundaries and, where needed, a gracious ending rather than asking Him to bless what He calls sin. Where restoration is His will, pray that He will heal wounds, bring forgiveness, grant favor with teachers and peers, give supernatural confidence rooted in Him, and help with learning and homework. For sleep, for vacations, for new responsibilities at work and for every practical need, ask for His wisdom, protection and guidance to respond to adversity with kindness and love.
Thank you for your honesty in confessing frustration, venting behind another's back and fear. The Lord is merciful to forgive when we confess, and He helps us to do better, to speak the truth in love and to trust Him instead of fearing people or circumstances. Proverbs calls us not to lean on our own understanding but to trust Him with all our hearts, and He will direct our paths.
I also pray for your times of prayer together and for your devotions, that the Lord will anoint, protect and guide them, pour out His Spirit, and draw hearts to seek Him. For preaching and teaching, pray that He will give the exact words that exalt Christ and offer salvation, without putting unnecessary offense in the way of the gospel. And for the conflicts where you feel overlooked or where words have wounded you, ask Him to bring encouragement, breakthrough, conviction where needed, and a deep sense of His nearness.
May the Lord continue to strengthen you as you wait on Him, keep before you all He has already answered, and fill you with His love, peace and joy as the fruit of His Spirit is formed in you.
